Guest Reviews
- Tanisha (9/5): Incredible location, very comfortable stay. - Great location, modern, clean, friendly staff Little expensive but worth it for location
- NICOLAS (8/5): - Relacion calidad precio ubicacion
- Claudia (10/5): - Está muy bien ubicado, la habitación estaba limpia. Lo único malo es que el baño estaba fuera de la habitación, de todas maneras es muy seguro y privado.
- Pimdao (10/5): I will be back here again bcs of comfy and good offer for a breakfast and cakes - It was amazing for all of those things to stay here
-staffs 10/10 >They are helpful from heart ❤️ Close up to all the convenience things as metro, bus, tram, taxi ,tourist places and restaurants and this hotel will have a free breakfast for everyone but for the dessert as cakes, cookies, fresh juice ,fruits, coffee this hotel gives u overnight so u don’t need to spend en extra money and if u are hungry at nice this is kind good offer for u🩷
I been in other hotel as the same price but they were not give me a good offer like this!
The Room was very clean! The water in the shower room worked correctly and also the air condition ,Tv,fridge ,hair dryer ,shower cream, body lotion, hair shampoo ,hair conditioner ,cotton bush ,towels ,lift are worked perfect!
I will be back to stay here again and I have some tips for the receptions staffs too🩷I recommend 🩷
- Alessia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (7/5): Work in progress but still worth it! - Location and staff service level were fantastic. Finishing job in the room we had was poor, whoever their contractor was did not finish the job (painting poor coverage and incomplete, fixtures not screwed in properly (mirror, towel hook, toilet roll hook), permanent pen markings on the tile to guide tile cutting were still on the tile, toilet installed too close to the shower glass (4cm clearance), and so on. Strange buzzing sound through the wall every 50 seconds at night. The staff said they will look into those issues after I shared the deficiencies over WhatsApp.
In the end it still met our needs and the staff were helpful, so I am happy.
- Stuart (9/5): Superb - Location perfect and staff lovely
- Melis (5/5): Passable -
- Wan-yu (5/5): Passable - Good location The key for the room didn’t work, and I had to walk down to the main checking area in another building to fix it. The staff that night handling this was a little impatient and not very polite. Also, the room had a few flights and mosquitoes before I entered.
- Lisa (6/5): Pleasant - Location and comfortable room. Treated like low class because my room was in the annex building. The building was old and decrepit. The stairs were steep and very dark. Shady characters hanging around the door. All of that and was not allowed to use the hotel elevator that connected to my section. Only 3 rooms in the annex. Have no idea why I had to go on a sketchy street, up a dark steep staircase that had no security whatsoever. My room was $175/nt. Wasn't that cheap. But felt like a low class guest. And no breakfast for ppl in the annex.
- Smoto (8/5): Great location & comfortable room - Great central location with easy access to the Metro & buses. Lots of stairs & no lift, but that's the norm for many places in Europe. What took some adjustment is the bathroom was across the hall. While dedicated to the room, it was a bit inconvenient to need a key to access across the hallway. Plus, once when we returned, the bathroom door was unlocked. That was disconcerting.
- Natalia (2/5): It would be 4 stars by standards of a 15th century. - Location is great Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, very strong chemical smell in the entire unit, urine smell in the staircase, no elevator.
- Shan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kossatz (5/5): Passable -
- Chai (7/5): A comfortable stay with easy access to the shops, eateries & subway - Location matters in all my travel plans. No elevators
- Marco (6/5): Stay was ok, there were unexpected uncomfortitiws - Location, is very central and easy reach from everywhere.
Beds were comfortable Location and noise isolation. It has a club accross the street and people offering drugs just in the front door
- Iwona (8/5): Very nice. - Most helpful staff. The lady in the reception was exeptionally welcoming and kind. Very comfortable beds. Perfect location.
- Estere (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dongwook (8/5): Very good - I wish they provided more than one key.
- Guindo (10/5): Exceptional - Very good 💯 Very good 💯
- Kubiak (10/5): Fantastic- thank you - Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our bags before check-in and after check-out. Clean and nice apartment. Thank you.:) -
- Lee-anne (9/5): Superb -
- Wyss (9/5): Superb -
- Sanoon (7/5): Excellent location and ok place - Location Staff was very friendly and helpful
- Jacqueline (3/5): I don’t recommend this option for solo female travellers - Central location but a bit rough for a solo female traveller At the point of booking, I didn’t realise I would be in a ‘suite’ around the corner from an FLH hotel. I also thought I had made a booking with cancellation option. I would have cancelled the booking if I could, as I knew this area was rough. (I live in Sintra and visit Lisbon frequently). I have stayed at FLH hotels before but this place had no facilities. The front door to the hotel was super heavy and difficult to open. Thank goodness, I had some friends to help me open it at midnight! (See the photo of the graffiti door). There are 3 flights of stairs to get to the room. (This was in the description). But the door to the bedroom kept blowing open in the wind. I had to slam it shut to feel safe.
- Tapci (5/5): Passable -
- Bernard (7/5): Good value for money. Functional facilities. Low quality entrance to suites. Hotel desk staff SO good!! - Great location close to Rossio Square. Clean , Good en-suite bathroom facility.
Reception Staff at the hotel desk are the real asset here. Could not be nicer or more helpful. Were always so pleasant. Separate to hotel entrance. Intimidating, dingy stairs. Too lonely if a solo traveller. Lack of an elevator a real problem. Too exposed to possible street-crime.
- Céline (4/5): Disappointing - no comment Booking didn't fully correspond to hotel description : room located in an old house (3rd floor), difficult to find, no lift, bathroom separated from the sleeping room, no breakfast, noisy street, excessive price
- Gerard (10/5): Exceptional - I spent two nights at Rossio Suites, and the stay was very enjoyable. The room was clean and modern, as was the adjoining bathroom. The property location is very central for navigating Lisbon on foot. There are so many dining options in proximity to the accommodation. The metro link to the airport is very close. As the property is part of the FLH Hotel group, which is adjoining, there is complimentary tea/coffee and cakes available at the location for all guests. This I found to be a very nice touch. The hotel staff whom I met were very nice. I would have no hesitation in recommending the accommodation. Nothing negative, just love ❤️
- David (1/5): Bad - we were not able to stay here - construction was being done in the building and there was a noxious odor from paint/thinner that made it impossible to tolerate. According to other occupants in the building - it had been going on for many days. Thankfully, the property was accommodating and provided a full refund.
- Tiara (6/5): Perfectly located but for what it is worth it should be better. - It is perfectly located.
The afternoon cake was awesome!!! - the shower was dirty (orange mold on the sides)
- air conditioning had a rattling sound every 30 seconds when it was on, which made it hard to fall asleep.
- Philippa (7/5): Good -
- Diana (8/5): Very good - The staff was awesome. Central location. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest. The stairs going up felt a little sketchy. Otherwise, it is a great place for young people who don't mind going up some stairs
- Glaucia (8/5): Great location and place for the price, would recommend!! - Perfect location and very clean. They have coffee every day for guests all day, which was great. The room was small, but ok if you’re not staying for too long. The AC was dripping always. There’s no iron in the room, you have to ask the reception.
- Mark (10/5): If you want the best in the heart of Lisbon, don’t miss this gem! - We liked everything. Great location, great facility, clean, quiet. The daily cleaning was top notch…best I have ever experienced. Breakfast was outstanding with many delicious choices. The all day cake, cookies, coffee and water were an added bonus. Top that off with friendly, knowledgeable staff and you have the winning combination evident at Boemio. Leaving. We hated to leave.
- Jakob (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (4/5): A budget-friendly adventure that may be worth the smell that lingers in your suitcase. - While it is true that the best quality of Rossio Feels Like Home Hotels & Suites' (FLH Suites) "GuestHouse" in Lisbon is its location and price, those interested in booking should understand for what they are paying. This is not as easy as it should be, since neither Booking.com nor Rossio FLH fully disclose a few details. The staff who checked me in at the next door Boemio Hotel (different from Rossio's "Guest House" property) were friendly, helpful, and kind, even agreeing to carry my suitcase up the 3 flights of stairs. The room itself is nicely renovated (with exception of a torn light shade), a tasteful and efficiently equipped space big enough for a full-sized bed, a few side tables, and a wardrobe. The bathroom is roomy in comparison, with a commode, sink, mirror, and shower. The advertised check-in, check-out and "24-hour front desk" apply to the Boemio Hotel, which provides this service for Rossio. At the actual property, there is no lobby and no staff. The "GuestHouse" is a run-down mixed-use walkup building in which Rossio colonized an apartment for use as a hotel. There is no phone in the room and an email inquiry took Rossio a day to respond.
The "Guest House" is located on a side street full of discount shoe stores and tourist marts. The entrance is a graffitied metal door with a bolt that releases with the wave of a dongle. Once inside, the smell of the dark stairway hits you--old and dank--before the light sensor kicks in. The stairway walls are dingy with broken fixtures and there are no light switches, only sensors. On the third floor, another bolted door opens onto the 3 "GuestHouse" rooms. Wallpaper and a modern chair in the hallway gesture toward this being a hotel.
For a few moments, I was relieved that at least the room was pleasant. A decent paint job, however, cannot fully hide the odor seeping through the walls. I opened the window for ventilation but immediately shut it, for the air was still and the view was of a stained exterior wall draped with electrical wires from an upper apartment. Then I noticed multiple small flying insects on the window sill and a few larger ones winging their way about. I spent the first half hour squashing them and following their path, which seemed to originate from the drain in the shower floor. I wanted to communicate with Rossio but had not been given the wifi info and had to go back down to the Boemio to speak with someone who could relay the info.
- Chiara (8/5): Very good -
- Francis (3/5): Poor -
- Lu (8/5): Very good -
- Yixin (9/5): Superb -
- Oghomwen (8/5): Perfect - Located just at the Rossio centre, so it was close to everything- the shops, restaurants, walking distance to everything. It was also in a safe area and the amenities were very neat and all modern. There’s also a welcome snack at the reception and they helped take my luggage upstairs. The receptionists are very nice and helpful and polite and welcoming. There’s also drinking water provided for you Nothing
- Mark (7/5): Good location. Fine for one night before we left for airport. Would not recommend for a - Room was clean. Location good off Rossio Square. Staff efficient. Climbing three flights of stairs with luggage is tough. Bathroom not in guest room. Breakfast not included when it was at FLH Tempo
- Markus (7/5): Good - The room was very good and the staff was friendly. Definitely again The only point is the late check in time. But also ok.
- Donna (9/5): Excellent - Staff were extremely accommodating. Although there were a fair number of homeless people in the area we felt very safe Nothing! It was an excellent spot for the money:)
- Eva (7/5): We would definitely stay here again for a day or two layover in Lisbon. - Great location! It was right in the heart of the city. Easy to walk out the door for sight seeing , dinner, and shopping. Very close to the castle! Cobblestone hilly streets for exercise. Short Uber to the airport or bus/train station. Great location for a lay over day/night. A bit loud if you stay for more than a night or two. Staff were young, nice and very helpful! We are over 65 years old and found there were many people our age.
Very clean and a beautiful bathroom/ shower.
Lobby is open 24 hours with coffee, tea, snacks and a quaint little dining room, outdoor seating too. We felt very safe at this location even though there were street vendors and homeless about. Lisbon overall seemed like a safe city! We stayed on the 3rd floor. No elevator so be prepared to huff your suitcase up a steep, ancient stairwell. It was cool though and not a problem for us. This location does have 1st floor rooms and other room options with an elevator to upper floors. Our room was #309, good for 1-2 people only. This unit had its own bathroom, some units have a shared bathroom down the hall , hostel style.
- Raymond (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eleonora (5/5): Not worth the money - very nice people working there, kind and helpful and always smiling.
close to all the main attraction and the metro/train station as well ! The bathroom wasn’t very well cleaned (hair on the door, splashes on the sink, shower). I was only staying one night so I didn’t bother asking but the heating system wasn’t working (or at least I couldn’t get it to work) so the room was very cold.
- Elif (3/5): The only good thing is the location - The only thing I liked was the location The street was always too loud and always seemed a bit unsafe. It is called hotel but actually it is an apartment with 3 rooms, in each room there are other people staying there. The building was incredibly old, you can smell the old. When someone close their room door, we felt like an small earthquake. The walls are very thin. Also the second morning we woke up at 8.30 because of the terrible noise coming from the upstairs…. Overall I have probably want to stay somewhere else if I had to come Lisbon again
- Juan (8/5): Everything was great, except the bathroom that was outside of the room -
- Maria (10/5): Excellent value for location. - We liked the pleasant surprise of lobby and available coffee and afternoon cake.A very lovely touch. We could have a dehumidifier in the room as there was only one setting on the air conditioning unit.
- Nika (7/5): Good -
- Lucia (1/5): Do not book it - Not much I liked about the property The room you’re given if you book at this property is at the 3rd floor (without lift) of a multi purpose building which ground floor is a shoe shop, first floor is an escape room and the same floor as the room there’s some creepy dark room with a skull. The room we were given 308 is the dampest place I’ve ever spend a night and I come from London. Smells of damp, your clothes are gonna smell of damp after only two nights in the room. The air con won’t work as heater as well so if you go in winter it’s gonna be cold and damp. It’s absolutely not worth your money.
- Thais (10/5): Exceptional -
- Agustin (10/5): Awesome - Perfect location, incredible staff, nice room... The bathroom was outside the room, but we already knew (it's in the description) and it was brand new. Everything was perfect. There is no elevator but, again, it was crystal clear. We enjoyed our stay and we would repeat without hesitating. The bathroom should have a magnetic key.
- Thanh (10/5): I love it in general. The stay is really nice for me. I will come back again!!! - I love all of them. The quality is really good, the staff really helped me with everythings. And the location is perfect. Take your trip with this stay and you will have the best vacation in Lisbon. Its just a bit not convenient when we take the bathroom out of the room. But still good because the bathroom was so nice and clean.
- Shun-chin (7/5): Good -
- Pelin (9/5): Superb - We really like location and staff 🤍 thanks for everythink. They have free coffee for everytime 😍
- Karenmc.kenna (10/5): Exceptional - Really central, very comfortable. Very modern. Would have liked a kettle come bed time but other than that couldn't fault it. The staff were lovely. We didnt book breakfast but there was complimentary tea/coffee water and 5pm cake in the lobby of the main hotel.
- Adil (9/5): Superb - Perfect ..everything was perfect. None
- Mio (9/5): Superb - There is a TV which can connect Netflix and YouTube. Very clean. Free water. It's hard to open and close the door of the bathroom. The room and the bathroom were different rooms.
- Srđan (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location. Two minutes walk to the main street. The apartment is neat and clean and has a good internet connection. There is no noise and you can't hear traffic jams. Clean towels are provided every day. The staff is very friendly, they made our stay even more pleasant. Free coffee and tea are served in the hotel from 5 pm to 8 pm. If you have a flight in the evening, you can leave your suitcases at the hotel for safekeeping and the service is free. I definitely recommend this place.
- Federico (8/5): Very good - Great location, right in the center of the city close to all sights. Taxi stand right in front of the hotel. Great WiFi. Very nice and attentive staff. Full bathroom amenities. Good instructions for check-in, which is done next door. Clean room and housekeeping everyday. The rooms are on the 4th floor and there is no elevator, so have to go up/down 4 flights of stairs; not recommended for people with mobility issues.

- Willie555 (8/5): Overall, an excellent simple option in a perfect location. - An economical European hotel: clean, compact and efficient room, but perfectly sufficient for our 2 day stay, since we rely on the room only for sleep/shower. Location was Fantastic- adjacent to the large square of Praça Dom Pedro IV, and the Rossio Metro station (Metro and trains to Sintra and other spots). Many restaurants nearby and easy access to the Castle, Elevador and many other sights. The young man at the front desk was very helpful with guidance and ideas. Free bottled water in the room. Internet was fine. The Metro and bus system is excellent. Simple breakfast was available, but we did not opt for it. The room was on the third floor with no elevator, so pack light! The rooms are also around the corner from the check-in desk (no big deal, but my address was to the rooms, and it took a bit to find the check-in).
- Christopher (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (9/5): Superb - top location, nice room
- Billy (9/5): Superb - The location is perfect. Staff were helpful .and polite.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Antonio (8/5): Very good -
- Britt (10/5): excellent - probably one of the best hostel in lisbon, they always had flavoured water and cakes in the lobby👍
REALLY nice people, clean, comfy bed.
- Neil (8/5): Very good -
- Alex (9/5): Superb - The staff was very helpful during the check-in, providing information about what to see and offering a drink and a snack. The hotel is in an old building in the heart of the city and the rooms are fully renovated. Very comfortable and clean.
- James (7/5): Good -
- Rachel (2/5): Very poor - The location was amazing The room had a bad smell, the staff wasn't helpful. It gave us headaches and they did nothing. Not worth the price. They claimed it was the area but when we went to a different hotel in the area the issue didn't reaper
- Inês (9/5): Superb -
- Glenn (9/5): Superb -
- Anne (9/5): Great Place to stay. - - Great Location
- Comfortable bed
- AC
- Clean and stylish
- Friendly staff - located on the third floor without an elevator
- Christine (8/5): Very good - Awesome location! Bed was very comfortable! The full 3 flights of stairs is brutal to climb with luggages.
- Sumaiyah (5/5): Passable -
- Vicki (10/5): Great location and best staff - Great location but a little hard to find. Take a taxi or uber. Not far from Rossio metro. It is right beside the church of st domonic .. tell people who you ask for directions and this will help. Actual name where you check in is boemio hotel. They also have snacks and coffee in the afternoon for you The stairs are a lot but worth the trip. The staff will help you with your bag.
- Kevin (7/5): Would stay again, but in main hotel, not rear rooms. - The staff was very friendly. Entry into side was not marked very clear. Location of room not described very well. Could have used help with suitcases up 3 flights of stairs. Bath was detached and didn't know when booking.
- Charlotte (7/5): Good - very clean and lovely interior, amazing bathroom with a great powerful shower and proper hair dryer. the room was spacious and had air con as well as a wardrobe, dresser and plugs on either bedside tables. central location to the city. As two young girls travelling without a male, the area on a night was full of male gangs and male individuals that were unsettling and would try approach you. this apartment did not have a reception and this meant entering the building and up 3 flights of stairs where anyone could have followed you in or watched you enter the building, For the area I didn’t find this safe and was even wary of Turing on the lights as soon as we had gotten in incase of revealing which room we were in. I wouldn’t recommend this location unless a male is present in personal preference.
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional - Greeted by happy staff who offered us coffee or water on arrival, much appreciated. Great location for bars and restaurants with only a few minutes walk to the coast. Our bathroom was across the landing from our room.
- Rodrigo (8/5): Would possibly come back - The beds were very comfy, staff were kind and helpful and the shower was great (bathroom had a modern style too). The suites are located outside the hotel in an older building. There was no lift (which I knew) but the stairs have very tall steps which are hard for an older person to climb. We have a problem with the aircon as well which was sorted on the first day after I spoke to the staff. The bathroom had no ventilation working and the room was a bit too small.
- Rutherford (9/5): Superb - Great room, great location. Stairs, 4th floor with no elevator. We knew that but it was still a challenge with bad knees.
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynda (6/5): There was no phone in the room to contact reception. There was a buzzing noise that went off every - Excellent breakfast! Lots of choices. Staff was lovely!
Quiet room except for the incessant buzzing in the room. May be electrical issues but made sleep impossible. No Coffee available in the room or phone to access reception, plus the constant buzzing in the room
- Zhu (7/5): Good - There're difference from their booking page, i thought private bathroom was inside of the room, actually not. It causes inconvenience to us during the midnight.
But their staff named Allen was so patiently and did his best to help us for this problem.
If you're going to Lisboa and living this location, pls pay more attention to your belongs, a little dangerous at night.
- Simona (10/5): Exceptional - The location is great, the room cozy and clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was a great stay. Nothing
- Leo (8/5): topnotch, would come again - spotless, clean, comfortable and reasonable cheap, great location.
- Antonia (8/5): Very good - location, clean, nice shower, AC worked well, would be nice to have a fridge/mini fridge, there is no elavator, smell is not very good but overall everything was good
- Nora (9/5): Superb -
- יעל (9/5): Superb - The apartment was great, like a hotel room, clean and cozy. The bathroom is separate but private, and it is also on a hotel level. The staff was wonderful - welcoming and pleasant, and helped us wholeheartedly in everything that was required. The location of the apartment is super central and close to everything, but still manages to be quiet. Highly recommended, we will return there
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stanislava (9/5): perfect for it’s money - clean, all new, every day cleaning, friendly staff, very central location separate (but private) bathroom from your room. no instructions to find out where and how to check in - we had to call a number from Google, but after, everything was smoothly
- Naomi (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (7/5): Hotel and staff were good but location of room wrt hotel was poor needing to climb stairs to 3rd flr - The room was recently decorated and very clean but was 100m away from the hotel It was clear that the rooms were not part of the hotel as shown in the adverts it also didn't mention we had to go up steep stairs with our cases as no lift available; so this dampened the stay.
- Maxime (8/5): We will be back! - Excellent location, interior and it was super easy to get there by public transport.
- Kristine (7/5): Good -
