• Christine (10/5): - (Bad)kamer ruim en schoon, aangenaam. Stille kamer, ondanks ligging aan drukke weg/station. OV (trein/tram) vlakbij accomodatie. Barman superattent en vriendelijkheid bij de receptie. Minpuntje: zo ontzettend warme kamer om in te slapen. Raam open was geen optie.
• Malcolm (8/5): - Good stay and a good location, especially for the close by train station. There is also a tram stop close that serves many great locations in Bordeaux. One issue that we had and seems to be somewhat common, is our room AC never worked as well as expected. We had to get a fan to help from the hotel. Besides that issue would recommend this hotel.
• Stephen (10/5): - The hotel is modern and clean; our room was generous in size with a comfortable king-size bed. It is located within an easy walk (even with roller-luggage) of the St Jean rail station. However, it is absurdly difficult to identify the hotel when driving a car whose navigation system has the address. Better to park at the railway station and call the hotel desk for help.

• Tamara (8/5): - Staff was great, hotel was clean but the AC didn’t work one night. Great price but there’s not much around and takes you 30 min to get to city center by bus which is right in front of the hotel.
• Neusa (4/5): - Fire alarm went off as soon as I arrived at the property because someone was smoking in their bedroom. The air conditioning was not operational and it was very hot. Hard to find English TV channels. They don’t have an English menu at the restaurant. The staff were friendly though.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - When we arrived at the hotel we were told our room will be 58°C as the AC is not working. We checked the room and it wasn’t that hot so we checked in anyway. Unfortunately check in was poor. We were not told about breakfast, nor when we should check out. The hotel had only one fan, which was being used by the night worker and so they couldn’t provide any for guests despite the AC being broken. I understand some things are out of their control, but no contingencies were in place for guests, and normal procedures not even complete. The rate for the night we stayed ahead also dropped to from 160 to 90, yet no compensation was offered for the loss of pre sold amenities. Separately my VIP hotels.com status was not acknowledged and the benefits not honoured.

Heureusement que j'avais conservé le ticket de CB en guise de ma bonne foi !

• jonathan (6/5): Uninspiring But Practical - Fairly uninspiring hotel choice in a modern concrete jungle behind the main railway station. Access is quite tricky too, if you are coming from the rocade along the river and it didn't appear on our car's sat nav. The parking is massively over-complicated. Instead of giving you a code or a ticket, you have to buzz in and out to gain entry and exit. While our room and our bed were both comfortable, the whole hotel gives off a fairly uninspiring business vibe. It is however close to the railway station, tram and car access to adn from the ring road. Definitely a hotel built around precticality (parking aside) rather than charm.

• Cameron (6/5): Globalement positif mais quelque détails à revoir - Un peu déçu car on s’attendait à un plus haut standing de la part d’un radisson blu. Rien de grave mais check in assez long après une arrivée tardive (00h30) malgré que tout était réglé d’avant, de plus on a dû payer une caution (jamais vu ça à l’hôtel mais ok ?), l’évier était bouché, on l’a signalé mais rien a changé. Concernant le personnel rien à redire tout était niquel, le petit déjeuner est superbe, le lit est très confortable.

• Thomas (8/5): It does a good job. - The building seems very new. It hasn't been renamed yet on the building so its not obvious. Google maps leads you a block or so away. The front desk and bar staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was tidy when we arrived. We keep a clean room and it was tidied as needed. Check how much TP you have when you arrive. We were shorted each day. We also ran out of shower gel the first morning. It wasnt topped up any of the proceeding days. We also had brought glasses and a champagne bottle to the room. They were never removed. These things did not ruin our stay. They were noted and brought to the front desk's attention when we checked out. You are near the train station with a 15 minute walk. It's a bit industrial/business in the area. There is a great beef restaurant near by. If you walk back to the train station, you can fan out and find some nice local areas.

• Emilie (8/5): Bien mais quelques améliorations à apporter - Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel. Il ne dispose pas de parking, nous avons payé 34€ pour la nuit dans le parking Vinci ! La literie est confortable et le linge est très propre et sent bon. La décoration est parfaite, rien à dire. Cependant, il était impossible de régler le chauffage ni de l’éteindre (se rallume tout seul) et nous avons énormément souffert de la chaleur. C’était intenable! Pas possible d’ouvrir les fenêtres car trop de bruit dehors. C’est vraiment dommage. Quant au petit déjeuner, il faut revoir la gestion car à 9h30 un samedi, plus d’œufs brouillés, plus de pain ni de viennoiseries. Nous avons dû attendre 30’ que tout soit à nouveau sorti du four…

We could have made it much easier on ourselves if we went to the lower level and crossed under the tracks. Otherwise, the hotel was great. Not too expensive, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed.

Didn’t eat hotel breakfast as far too expensive (€21pp for continental!) we bought a quick breakfast from the supermarket next to tram stop.
• Petronella (10/5): Comfort and Convenience - Our two connected rooms made for a roomy and comfortable stay. We had a kettle to make a quick coffee but there was a lovely bar and breakfast area for us to enjoy as well
• Verified traveler (10/5): Bordeaux Wine Trip - All was good except for the fire alarm going off at 3 AM and then 9PM due to someone smoking in their room. Very clean and close to the train station. Definitely would recommend.

• Sandra (6/5): So terribly disappointed with this hotel… - I can’t believe that so many people have given it 10/10! The first issue was that despite the Hotel offering parking when I emailed to enquire I was told that I couldn’t reserve a space - I had to enquire about parking at reception when we arrived….but there was nowhere to park the car outside the hotel! So we parked in the public car park….and it cost €88 for one night! I did enquire about parking at Reception but was told that it was actually up the road…..not exactly as indicated by the website 😕 The room was ok, not what I’d expect for the price, not even a free bottle of water and hairs in the washbasin. The shower kept reverting to cold for a few seconds. My husband had to go to Reception twice just to get some tea bags and milk. We got back from a days shopping and wanted to eat in the restaurant but were told that it was closed! On a Saturday night! Breakfast was pretty disappointing too, the pastries weren’t cooked enough and the juice was from a packet. The area around the hotel is absolutely horrible, think Kings Cross 20 years ago…..this is most definitely not a hotel to stay in if you’re a single woman. If I hadn’t been with my husband I wouldn’t even have checked in, we most definitely wouldn’t have stayed a second night. I wish that there was something positive to say….

• Scott (10/5): Great hotel for a visit to Bordeaux! - We had an amazing stay here when visiting the Bordeaux Wine Festival. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms are a good size with good amenities and the hotel is close to the tramline and the train station for getting around. The rooms and hotel are well maintained and very clean. We did think the bar prices in the hotel were a bit expensive given the location is not city centre, wine was reasonable but other drinks can be expensive. We would definitely stay here again as it’s a great hotel with excellent staff who provide a very friendly service. Thanks to all the staff for a great stay at the Golden Tulip Euratlantique.

The only issue is location- it is very hard to get to by car, and the area is a new development with some dodgy characters about, similar to being in Canary Wharf or La Defense

• laurent (6/5): A few things to improve to make it a true 4 star. - Like most hotels in the world, they do let you control the room temperature despite having a thermostat in the room. It was way too hot and impossible to do anything about it. The room had a liquid soap dispenser. Didn’t dispense much. Obviously designed to give you as little soap per push as possible. No paper tissue dispenser either. Overall quiet room.

• Michael (6/5): Information required - The hotel was on a good location, however the bar was closed on Saturday and Sunday… we were not informed in advance. We saw a pad of maps when we were checking out…realised we had been using the wrong tram stop.
• J (10/5): Good modern hotel with wasy access to city centre - Great hotel for four nights in Bordeaux. Not in a particularly attractive area, but pretty quiet and very near to a tram stop for fast transfer to the old city centre and not far from the station. Good range of breakfast foods and great coffee. Bar area was pleasant. Bottles of water replaced every day in the chillers in the bedrooms. Beds comfy and bathrooms fine, very clean, although shower very slow sometimes. Bedroom lighting wasnt great if you have poor eyesight and you want to read. Staff could not have been more helpful, organising taxis etc. Efficient service at the bar and at breakfast. I'd reccommend for a group who need a lounge / bar area to hang out during their visit and quick access to all the attractions of the city. Wifi was good.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Happy as a clam! - The location of the hotel, relatively close to the main train station, was nice, and just a walk over a bridge to reach. It is nestled in a business park type area, that looked and felt clean and safe. The lobby of the hotel looked and smelled fantastic. Once we reached our room, we were very satisfied with the size and cleanliness. The only minute complaint is that the bathroom door made getting around a little acrobatic, but otherwise we would absolutely stay again.
• Karen (10/5): - It's a lovely hotel, and very close to the train station (which I why I chose it). The room was very comfortable, clean, and modern. I was working while there and the space was perfect for that.

• NGUYET (10/5): - Highly recommend this hotel. Very clean, good smelling, beds are so comfortable, quite and good location.
