Called ahead spoke with Leanne the connoisseur and she arranged a beautiful charcuterie board to be in the room upon check in. She was extremely helpful in suggesting places to visit and dine. The accomadations were great. Room was clean and spacious. We had no problems with any of the amenities. If I had to pick on something it would have to be the elevators that dont recognize your room card so you might be stuck going up and down until someone else enters and their card works. Had a very nice memorable stay. Would highly reccomend. Didnt hear any noise as we were high up, 28th floor. Sunrise every morning! Location was pretty good, wouldnt want to be any closer to boardway cause of noise. Walkable to the museums and Boardway with good boots and sneakers.

- Y6487FIkeithr (10/5): JW Marriott Great staff - My girlfriend and I stayed at the JW for my belated Birthday. We were greeted by Ellen and then Zack. We didn’t have a reservation and they were amazing at giving us accommodations. Ellen and Zack took time to have pleasant conversations with us about friends, families and things to do while in Nashville. The room was perfect and the guest club lounge was also great. Meeting Ellen and Zack made our stay the most enjoyable and we will definitely go back and stay at the JW because of the both of them.
- M5536IHsusank (4/5): JW NASHVILLE disappointing - The location is convenient. However, the construction quality of this relatively new property is disappointing. The windows do not adequately mitigate exterior noise, which is unusual compared to other major cities such as New York, where outside sounds are typically well controlled. This issue does not appear to be related to nearby construction. We frequently stay at a private property less than two miles away, located in a heavily active construction area, and it experiences significantly less noise. Our stay was further disrupted by persistent HVAC noise in the hallway, which we were told was related to work on the 33rd floor. This disturbance continued throughout the night and significantly impacted our ability to rest. The response from staff was inadequate. Their communication felt scripted, lacked empathy, and did not include any meaningful attempt to resolve the situation or offer compensation for the inconvenience. Additionally, housekeeping failed to service our room. We informed the attendant as we were leaving for the day, and she indicated she would return shortly, but the room was never attended to. Given the high occupancy levels this property is likely to maintain, it is concerning that there appears to be little urgency in addressing guest concerns or ensuring customer retention. While I have had many positive experiences with Marriott and JW properties, this location in Nashville did not meet expectations the last few times we have been guests.

We enjoyed happy hour and breakfast on the 33rd floor club. amenities in the room were plentiful and appreciated as we were not planning for an extra night away. Our car was retrieved as soon as we called for it. Our valet loaded our bags, opened our doors, greeted us courteously, and wished us safe travels.

Upgrade was mild but appreciated. Upgrades almost always better outside the US. Club lounge was fair. The did serve breakfast and had daily snacks. Restaurants were spectacular, especially Bourbon steak. One of the better meals I have ever had. Stomping grounds was great for breakfast. Overall really happy with our experience and would stay here again if visiting Nashville.

The cleaning staff was fantastic! The restaurant staff were so friendly and kind! Gelato daily was a huge kid benefit for my daughters. We also brought our dog and they gave her a blanket, a ball, and food bowls! Everything was above and beyond our expectation! The rooms were very spacious and the bathroom was beautiful! It is also within walking distance of all the bars and the Ryman. I can't say enough great things! I highly recommend this hotel! I'll be back!

- G2579DIemmah (10/5): Amazing front desk service - My group had a wonderful stay at the JW Marriott Nashville. Despite being a small group, we had some complicated last-minute requests and the front desk team handled them beautifully. The other members of our group repeatedly told me how seamless their stay had been, and I really appreciate all the work that went into that. While the whole team was great, I especially wanted to appreciate the work of Jay at the front desk, who went out of his way to make our VIPs feel that all their needs were perfectly met. In some later follow ups, Cing provided really valuable help to me personally. The room was really comfortable and clean and it felt like a luxurious experience and I enjoyed the breadth of the amenities. The views from Bourbon Steak are amazing! My only complaint was that the lovely pool did get filled with debris by the end of the day, when I was able to use it, and it didn't feel as clean as I would have liked, but I still enjoyed my swims.

Overall, everyone on the team was great -- from making the reservation till the end. The spa area itself was also great -- met all the needs of a relaxing experience. The only part that I was dissapointed with and would stop me from going again was the massage itself -- i ordered the 'tension massage' and also emphasized when booking and when speaking w/ the Masseuse to [1] wanted a deep, deep tissue... and [2] to focus extremely on lower body, butt and back. However, it seemed that was lost and the 'routine' tension massage was given, which spent equal time on upper and lower... And unfortunately, it was a very light massage. There was a moment of stretching on the legs, which was good... but over all the massage itself was dissapointing. Again, the team was fantastic, so feel bad that the massage did not live up to standard... but hopefully this feedback can help improve on that.

Shana at the front desk helped me checked in and out, and she carefully explained everything included in the destination package and ensure that I don’t miss any of the perks! Also Emily in the stomping grounds can make the best Matcha latte and Lavender Latte! I visited the store every day! Thank you and all the staff i encountered so much for your service and support. It really made my business trip warm and wonderful!

The JW is a great hotel but Marissa and Shana’s service accentuate why it’s the best!

Robert & Harold were polite, professional, and skilled with the right tools. Issue was fixed in less than 10 min. Also, we needed a ride to a show and Drew & Seth made sure we had quality black car service. Five stars for this property!

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are always spotless, and the Griffin Suite has become a favorite for our trips. It’s spacious, comfortable, and feels like a treat. What really sets this hotel apart is the staff. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. I have to give a special shout-out to Samantha in the Executive Lounge. She consistently goes above and beyond and has remembered us from previous visits, which means so much. She brings such joy to the space and makes the whole experience even better. If you’re visiting Nashville and want a truly wonderful stay, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

I'm a big fan of Marriott family of properties but this is exceeding my high expectations from the very start. It's a BEAUTIFUL property, with stunning architecture and incredible artwork. Easy to get to from the airport. Everyone has been so friendly. I feel compelled to specifically call out the front desk as I checked in. Marissa was exceptional--helped me quickly and completely with minor changes and was incredibly thoughtful. Her fellow receptionist, Sam, assisted me with conference logistics. And the supervisor Jay was fantastic--very welcoming and clearly encouraging of his top notch staff. The room is beautiful with GREAT amenities. The Executive Lounge for Bonvoy members like me, situated on the 33rd floor with great views, is also a great place to relax and enjoy great views of Nashville. I wish I had asked the name of the attendant up here because she also reflected what must be a hotel-wide spirit of workplace joy and hospitality. I will be returning for sure!

Raj got us seats at the bar when you were busy. Matthew took our food order and suggested some good items. Great staff and a wonderful visit. This hotel is the best! Samantha in the Club Level was a joy to talk to every morning for breakfast. Her smile, personality, and willingness to make everything just right makes her an asset to the JW! Our room was great and had a beautiful view. We ate at the Bourbon Steakhouse on the top floor and were wowed by the amazing food, drinks, and wait staff. We will definitely be back, and we highly recommend the JW Marriott to anyone visiting Nashville!

- LennyLH (8/5): Good, but noisy - The foyer is very impressive. Excellent pool area. Clean and tidy, good-sized room. Not all staff equally friendly. If you are not ready for room service when they knock (before 9 in the morning), they simply don’t come back (we found out later we were then expected to let the front desk know we still wanted our room made up - that would have been helpful info at check in). The main drawback was the noise. There was a demolition site next door, which was as noisy on level 22 as it was on the street. The freight trains go all night long, too. He makes amazing drinks and to be honest he went over and beyond providing us with information about local spots not to miss! He was a breath of fresh air .. not often do you meet someone who loves their job and takes pride in it! So friendly and didn’t make us feel Like .. ugh another tourist needing information! So appreciated Taner and his helpful generous personality! The cucumber drink was amazing and the burger and fries were off the charts delicious! Great casual spot to grab a drink and a bite!
- Dee670FL (10/5): The Friendly Staff MAKES This Hotel Special! - I stayed at the JW Nashville this past weekend and was warmly welcomed and checked in by Pankit, very professionally dressed and friendly. Went for a coffee at Stompin Grounds and again, greeted with smiles and 'good morning' from Emily and enthusiastic hostess Ha at the restaurant. The following morning back for more morning coffee smiles, then off to store my luggage for the day with another kind employee at the bellman station, Cody. Checked out with front desk agent, Stacy, who was equally hospitable. The room was quite nice, but my main takeaway was definitely the staff. This hotel is a perfect example of excellence in service!
