• Marius (7/5): - Nice pool and view I chose this hostel because it claimed to have a laundry service for an extra fee and I needed to get my clothes washed as I was walking the camiño. They did have a laundry service, but it was so expensive, to wash my clothes (not even a full washing machine) would have been as expensive as the stay for the whole night as they charge you per cloth! If the prices are that high, they should been noted on booking in my opinion as this would have been a deal breaker for me. Now I spend 5€! just to wash 3 pieces of laundry for the next day, that's insane pricing

• Coby (8/5): Decent stay for a bit more comfort right on the Camino - Friendly staff, comfy bed with the longest pillow I have ever seen, and a nice warm shower, food was nice, 2 bottles of water ready in the fridge, for a thirsty pelgrim a blessing, wifi was super! The hotel is outdated. My room (212) had a bath in which you had to stand for a shower, I would prefer a walk in shower. I was unlucky with the neighbors: on one side they were shagging each other’s brain out, the other room came back late around 0:45 and were loud and later I could even hear them snore through the walls. Behavior the hotel cannot control, but you could put solo travellers next to one another perhaps?

• Joseph (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay while on the Camino Portugues. - The Glasgow was a very nice hotel. Not fancy, but very clean and all the staff were very welcoming and helpful. My wife and I liked the twin beds rather than having just a queen bed. The lunch we had from the menu of the day was very good. Breakfast the next day was excellent.

• laura (8/5): - My nephew left his passport in A Guarda, the fellow at desk immediately called a taxi to pick it up and deliver it. He was so thoughtful. The gals who waited on tables were so kind and hard working. I loved staying there. The steak we had was the best we had ever tasted!!!!

Lage direkt am Camiño Das Restaurant welches glaube ich nicht durch das Hotel betrieben wird, würde ich zum Abendessen nicht empfehlen, war aber trotzdem in Ordnung. Frühstück war für uns als Pilger ok

• Elena (7/5): - Location was perfect I found the toilet in my room in an unacceptable condition. The toilet seat was visibly soiled with fecal matter and urine, clearly indicating that it had not been properly cleaned. What made the situation even more concerning was the presence of a “sanitized” seal on the toilet, which created the false impression that the bathroom had been thoroughly disinfected. This experience was extremely unpleasant and frankly disgusting. Cleanliness is a basic expectation in any hotel, and especially in a three-star establishment, I did not expect to encounter such negligence. It made me feel uncomfortable and raised serious concerns about the overall hygiene standards of your property. I trust that you will take this matter seriously and ensure that proper cleaning protocols are followed in the future, so that other guests do not have to go through a similar experience.

• Dr. Bernd (7/5): Es gab wenig zu kritisieren. Irgendwie fehlte die spanische Seele (Gastfreundschaft) - Die Unterkunft war modern, sauber, funktional. Die Zimmer sind großzügig dimensioniert. Das Frühstück war eher bescheiden. Um 9.30 war schon alles abgeräumt, obwohl bis 11.00 Frühstück angeboten wurde. Das ABendessen war bis 21.30 angeboten. Ich kam um 21.31. Da erklärte mir das Küchen-Personal, dass die Küche schon geschlossen sei. Es waren kaum Gäste im Haus. Da hätte man etwas gastorientierter sein können.

In camera avevo un bollitore ma mancava la tazza e te. Inoltre per il prezzo pagato mi aspettavo che in camera mi trovavo una bottiglia d’acqua e invece niente. Ho dovuto comprarla.

There are lots of facilities but it was clearly not yet fully up and running. The room was great and the staff very friendly. The dinner was ok, breakfast was good. The gym was limited and looked like it had not been used ina long time.

• Helena (8/5): Tranquila e agradável! - Hotel tranquilo e bem localizado, apesar de não se encontrar no centro de Baiona. Espaços interiores e exteriores. Ter a valência de um restaurante e de uma cafetaria. Facilidade no estacionamento (e gratuito). De manhã, por vezes. algum odor desagradável no exterior devido a descargas de saneamento (?). O mesmo sucede no percurso Hotel-Baiona. ETAR local a necessitar de reformulação na sua eficiência (?) No pequeno almoço, embora variado, a parte dos bolos era demasiado "industrial".

E chiaramente ho pagato una cifra del genere perché non c’erano più disponibilità negli ostelli per pellegrini. Il prezzo dovrebbe essere adeguato per chi fa il cammino di Santiago: ci sta il menù per il pellegrino ma poi ti spennano con la camera.
