Guest Reviews
- Jan (9/5): Becoming returning customer :-) - Spacious rooms, delicious meals, great and friendly service and of course great location
- Charles (10/5): -
- Jiří (10/5): - Lokalita hotelu je naprosto vynikající, přímo u sjezdovky, přístupné na lyžích, rodinný přístup personálu p ocelou dobu pobytu, skvělá sauna, večeře velmi chutná, rozhodně se vrátíme co nejdříve zpět, byli jsme nadšeni.

- CharlieBravo (10/5): - If you love skiing, you can hardly find a better place in Val di Fiemme. Fantastic cuisine, great wines and ski in, ski out. You finish your day in sauna and sleep well. Everyone in the hotel is nice and heplful. They are always trying to make things better and thea are succesfull.
- Jennifer (10/5): Excellent stay! Even better than I had expected. - Very friendly and attentive staff. Nice hotel that is well maintained and very comfortable. Great location to trails and bus stops. Dinner and breakfast had a good variety of options including vegetarian. They kindly held a piece of luggage while I hiked to a hut for the night.
- Sommer (10/5): Wonderful break on our hike across the Dolomites - First class hotel. Very nice and helpful staff, plus excellent food.
- Clarissa (5/5): -
- Marko (1/5): Very bad owner - Owner is not good person...
The rooms in the annex are very dangerous. Too high steep, you hit your head on the top step!?
When I pointed this out to the owner, he played the fool or me!? Because it was too dangerous for my wife, we had to find another hotel. Of course, the owner didn't want to hear about any refund...
I don't know how the owner got the Usage Permit - if he even has one?
Also food- dinner is on level 2 star hotel...
Prijazno osebje, ustrežljivi natakarji in večerja z štirihodnim menijem. ;)

- Ugne (10/5): Lovely stay for a night during Alta via 2 trek - Great location if you’re doing Alta via 2 trek, good food and nice clean rooms N/a
- Merrill (10/5): This place is top of my list for places to stay in the area, it can't be beaten. - So welcoming and friendly. The manager was exceptional & staff very attentive and friendly. The food was great & breakfast selection perfect. Highly recommended. Nothing, all excellent.
- Katie (10/5): -
- Iggy Igor (8/5): - Professionalism, room facilities, Sauna Not the most tasty food (but I'm Vegan and they tried).
Sauna is working on very limited hours
- Remis (9/5): Great option to stay! - I liked everything about the hotel. Stuff may could have been more responsive (or maybe this happened because we were there at the lunch and wanted to check-in). But overall, I am very happy with my stay. The food is amazing. I think, I had one of the best half-board experiences during the entire Alta Via2 hike. N/A
- Claire (9/5): Really lovely hotel in stunning location. - Beautiful hotel, great staff - very friendly and helpful. The views are incredible. Beautiful location and rooms
- Kevin (9/5): Amazing place, perfect for hiking, extremely pleasant employees - Very good stay, very nice employees, the rooms are lovely and extremely clean. Location is amazing :)
- Jeffrey (10/5): 10 out if 10 - Everything! The food was delicious, rooms beautiful, and common areas comfortable. The staff was wonderful and knowledgeable about the area and recommended the best wine. Nothing
- Julie (8/5): - Excellent breakfast
- Torsten (8/5): -
- sandro (9/5): -
- Danny (9/5): - Great food. Comfortable room. We had to eat in a separate room from the main restaurant. We weren't sure whether this was because we were staying in the Annex or because we were hikers? Just odd.
- tonyindahouse69 (7/5): Comfortable hotel as stop on Alta Via 2 - Hot shower, comfortable bed, sofa, nice dinner Steep and narrow stairs up to the bed

- Pablo (9/5): Great place if you plan to visit the Dolomites - Great location, fantastic food. They will charge you extra if you ask for a second espresso at breakfast
- Jennifer (10/5): Wonderful and welcoming - A little slice of luxury with a very friendly and helpful concierge, lovely food, great facilities, and a comfy bed in a modern room. We couldn't have asked for more. Everything was fantastic.
- KrimNTG (10/5): -
- Meghan (10/5): - My friends and I stayed at Hotel Costabella for two nights while hiking the Alta Via 2. It was the perfect place for a rest day. The sauna and steam room were so relaxing.
We stayed in the annex, so we had to go outside and into the main hotel to reach the sauna, but the weather was great while we were there so it wasn’t a problem. If booking rooms in the annex, be aware that there’s a small steep staircase/ladder to get to the main bed. It might not be the best for people with mobility challenges.
I’d highly recommend getting dinner at the hotel. It’s 35 euros for five courses, including a salad buffet, and all five courses were phenomenal.
The proprietor of the hotel was extremely accommodating and kind. I wish we’d been able to stay longer, and I’d love to return. I truly don’t have anything bad to say. I guess it would have been nice if they’d provided conditioner in addition to shampoo.
- Sophie (10/5): - Such a lovely little hotel & the staff were just so kind and welcoming. We stayed here for one night as we hiked along the Alta Via 2 route and really appreciated the comfortable bed & spacious, clean room. The breakfast spread was wonderful too! The food portions are quite small but we still enjoyed it!
Zona relax senza piscina
- Carolyn (10/5): -
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- Rachel (8/5): Very good - Beautifully updated room and hotel lounge. Close to lifts and trails. Easy and free parking. Friendly staff. Coffee at the hotel was not very good and there wasn't a coffee machine (or electric kettle) in the room.
Food at dinner was beautifully presented but not very good.
- Julie (9/5): Very comfortable and cosy room. Would love to stay in the ski season. - Annex room was perfect. Welcoming staff and great atmosphere Nothing
- Joanne (10/5): Excellent - Really friendly staff, delicious food, very clean and comfortable.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (9/5): Superb - Attentive and friendly staff, good food
- Warren (5/5): Theyre Trying, BUT. - Quirky property in enchanting location. Room size and function were great. Included meals were nice but missed the mark (seared tuna was good but small; endive entree and veg soup were atrocious). Male manager was stuffy and odd. Bathroom towels were WORST ive ever used. Think cardboard covered in sandpaper and you got it! Manager said they were only 2 yrs old. Doubtful, unless used in between to bathe livestock. Pizza place at annex didnt serve pizza, except in season they said!?!
- Edoardo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kervyn (6/5): Pleasant - Wifi wasn't working.
- Bethany (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aizada (8/5): Very good -
- Mateusz (10/5): Exceptional - Excelent, super friendly and helpful staff!
- Isobel (10/5): Exceptional -

- Kucan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sara (10/5): Perfect location and everything even better than we expected. -
- Kris (9/5): Superb -
- Nikola (10/5): Exceptional -
- Prasad (10/5): Highly recommend! - Excellent location, convenient to rent ski gear, buy passes and get lessons. You can walk straight out of the hotel door on to the ski field! Customer service was exceptional, rooms comfortable, spa so relaxing and the food was fantastic! Everything was great!
- Marshall (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful place. Excellent facilities. Fantastic food .Great service. Nothing

- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb -
- Esmaeil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Esmaeil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tomasz (8/5): quality service and very good dinners - Fantastic location, professional and nice staff, very tasty dinners. Unfortunately, the breakfasts were disappointing, not matching the general level of the hotel. Probably the weakest of the dozens of hotels in the Dolomites that I have been to so far I booked a room at this hotel and was placed in another building without prior notice
- Mika (10/5): Highly recommended! - We stayed here while hiking the Alta Via 2, the food was fantastic and the staff were very attentive to all of our needs. A delightful respite from our hike.
- Michelle (10/5): Necessary Stay during Alta Via 2 - Exceeded expectations. The value for money was incredible. I was doing the Alta Via 2 staying in refugios, dorms every night. I stayed here half way through as recommended by the guidebook expecting it to be more basic. It was so modern with a sauna, five course dinner included and a water tap in the bedroom with modern bathroom and bed. I wanted to start hiking before breakfast and the staff were so lovely to make me a coffee and give me some fruit to go! Highly recommend as a bit of comfort and resetting during Alta Via! I think I was the only hiker there...
- Mirsad (10/5): See you soon - Extra!
- Lidia (9/5): Superb -
- Milla (10/5): Exceptional - I loved so much the attitude of the people in the hotel to the guests. The service was wonderful. The hotel was really clean, spa - amazing and specious, the room clean, big and with all needed facilities. The food servced - delicious! Recommend the hotel!
- Ronen (8/5): Very good - The room was good. The man at the reception was very kind and helpful. They didnt have a drying room for our wet close. The staff was kind and put our shoes in the heating room. We didnt realize that we booked Aux which means we got a room in a separate building from the hotel. thIt should be clarified on booking.
Another disappointment was that breakfast included one hot drink. For a second cup of tea you must pay. In all other places we stayed it was free.
- Katherine (10/5): Friendly & immaculate - What a lovely hotel. I was welcomed with a friendly face and all the info I needed. He could tell from my heavy rucksack that I might like to know where the sauna was! Beautiful rooms and generous half board meals. I wish I'd stayed longer really! Nothing!
- Tim (10/5): Delightfully restful stay with lovely food - Nice clean room, delightful food and very good service Nothing
- Alexia (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay at Costabella was amazing. We arrived here after a very long trekking day. We needed comfort and we found it here at Costabella. We stayed in the annex (over Snow Thrill restaurant). We had a view on the mountains and cows which made the experience authentic. What we made our stay a 10/10 is the staff. They were all very kind people and where very attentive. They also make incredible food, shoutout to the chef! We ate there two consecutive nights, they change the menu every day.
- Bill (9/5): Superb -
- Oi (10/5): Exceptional - Great dinner, friendly staff, etc.
- Frank (10/5): Exceptional - Good, scenery, rooms and staff are all excellent!
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- Erin (10/5): AMAZING place the stay for skiing or for other summer activities!!! - AMAZING amenities, food, service, and location! The staff were all exceptional!! The room was spacious with the best views of the surrounding mountains!
- Indy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Great value. Helpful staff. Spacious, clean, and very new furnishings.
- Conor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Damian (8/5): Very good - Food was excellent
- Allison (8/5): Comfortable stay after trekking in the mountains - Lovely hotel and dinner is excellent with great service. We stayed in the annex which was ordinary. Breakfast was ok but the experience of staying in the annex was far different to my last experience of staying in the hotel. To be fair we booked late and the annex was the only space available but if this was the only option in future I wouldn’t stay again.
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Food was excellent. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Afternoon tea was a nice touch. A bit expensive. Was not informed of wellness area.
