• Ronny (8/5): Für uns war es vollkommen in Ordnung für eine Übernachtung - Wir waren mit dem Motorrad da und der Hotelhof war abgeschlossen. Wir durften für einen kleinen Aufpreis bis abends im Zimmer bleiben, bis die letzte Fähre ging. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war nicht so unser Geschmack, mit Plastik-Geschirr und Besteck. Der Weg in den Ort zu Fuß ist nicht prickelnd!, mit dem Fahrzeug ist es super.

• 764norbertz (6/5): Suitable accommodation when when waiting for the Sicily-Malta ferry - Suitable accommodation when staying overnight before or after the crossing to or from Malta. Eugenio, the owner, is always helpful and takes pragmatic approaches when it comes to take care of special wishes or needs; for instance, leaving the motorbike at the hotel for a couple of days due to non-availability of spaces aboard the ferry. We stayed for a night and then had only the chance to do the crossing as foot passengers while leaving behind the bike at the hotel's premises for an acceptable fee. Self-checkin at the hotel is fairly easy and the rooms are clean. There is room for improvement in regards to the breakfast buffet where virtually no real bread is available but just sweet foodstuff. Also, prices seem to be generally higher at Pozzallo and surroundings compared to services and accommodation of similar standards in the Palermo area, probably due to lack of competition.

• ANTHONY (8/5): Convenient, comfortable, no frills - Convenient, comfortable, no frills. Close to a good pizzeria. Smooth auto check-in. Just what we needed for a hop-in into Sicily from Malta. I had great communication with Eugenio. Access into the town is not pedestrian friendly. Understandable, since this is a motel.
• Mark (8/5): Cheap and cheerful - Prior to arriving, it was a bit of a shambles - you have to submit your details on line and then they promise to send you the code to a key box on the gate post that contains a fob that will open the security gate, the door into the motel and your room. However, despite chasing, this information never came and we arrived at the gate unable to enter. After phoning a number, a chap arrived after about 20 minutes and let us in, but also explained that the electrical power supply to the hotel was down, albeit expected to on again late afternoon - but nothing worked. Once the power was back on and we had our key fob, things started to look a lot better. The accommodation is motel standard, but it was clean, functional, had everything that you would need including a comfortable bed and bathroom and room a/c. The chap on site was very apologetic and did his best to offset the issues. A simple self-service breakfast was available from 5am which was quite adequate. Under the circumstances, I would have been happy to pay the Booking.com price, but out of the blue the chap on site gave us a €20 discount for the problems, which was appreciated. Under normal circumstances, this would be a perfectly acceptable place to stay - we needed somewhere to overnight before catching the early ferry to Malta - it is not luxury, but it is also very cheap - if that is what you want, it’s perfect. • Karen (7/5): Fine place to stay for a night or two! - Nice place to stay, and the location is close to the port where we took the ferry. Helpful front desk. A little bit loud at night, but that was just for a short while, and the room was a bit stuffy. There was AC, but it didn't seem to work well. I didn't want to keep the window open all night as a solo female traveler.

• Matt (6/5): - This hotel is a 2-3 star property at best, the bed in it was terrible. It was an inner spring mattress that had clearly seen better days, with 'body wells' on each side and a raise in the middle from the use. The air conditioner control had literally no markings on it and had to contact the owner to get a picture sent so that I could get it to work. Stayed thinking it was good proximity to the train station, but its not practical as there is no sidewalk to drag a suitcase on to get to the train station to start with so you are walking down a road with 2 blind corners on it. Quite a walk from anything in town to eat or have a drink so location is not great. There was noone there at checkin, or check out, but good clear instructions to find a key and get in. Overpriced for what you get. The one positive was the contact from the owner which was always prompt and courteous.

• F2830RWcynthiac (8/5): A nice short stay - We had a very comfortable one night stay in this hotel which is very close to Pozzallo port and comes with a spacious parking. Everything is well organised by Eugenio. We did an online check in and then followed the provided instructions to enter the hotel and respective room. Opted for dinner organised by the hotel in a nearby trattoria. Breakfast is basic but still suffecient. Eugenio was available via whats app to help us out even in the evening. We totally recommend this hotel.

Entrance procedure automated but instructions were very clear and immediate via WhasApp. Gated entrance excellent for people travelling with bicycle. Position close to railway station. Low water pressure and blocked shower drain - but a promise to fix that received immediately. Incense sticks in room. Not everybody likes them.

• Susanne (10/5): Hundefreundliches kleines Hotel - Sehr freundlicher Empfang, unser Hund bekam gleich Hundebisquits. Es wurde ein WhatsApp-Kontakt erstellt falls man Hilfe benötigt. Sehr gut!. Sehr nett eingerichtetes kleines Hotel, schon etwas älter, aber sehr schön gemacht. Es wurde jeden Tag sehr gut geputzt und die Handtücher gewechselt. Unser großer Hund hat jeden Abend den Sand vom Beach auf dem Boden gelassen, morgens wurde sofort geputzt und die Putzfrau war super freundlich. Es hat einen kleinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer, was sehr praktisch ist. Das Frühstück ist italienisch mit sehr viel Süßem, aber als wir auf Nachfrage vom Personal sagten, das wir eher salzig essen, bekamen wir Schinken und Käse. Sehr freundlich! Das Hotel hat einen Parkplatz, der durch ein Schiebetor gesichert ist. Man bekommt beim Einchecken einen Drücker und Chip für die Türen. Es ist immer alles verschlossen, also sehr sicher. Besonders mit Hund können wir dieses Hotel wirklich empfehlen, auch zum Frühstück durfte unsere Emma, die wirklich groß ist, mitkommen. Zum Ort mit vielen Restaurants und zum Strand nur ca10 min mit dem Auto. Wir kommen wieder!
• Paul (9/5): Our stay was as we hoped - secure car parking, friendly staff and clean comfortable room. - The hotel manager provided instructions and an easy system to access the gated property and hotel building. The hotel room was very clean with good facilities. We found a great selection of breakfast items prepared for our early departure. Made it a great option for the early ferry to Malta. Access to the town was via a main road with a dubious pavement - would have been better for us to drive the short distance. Unless we took the wrong route? But this is just a note for others.

The owner of this guest house was really helpful. I contacted him via telephone and he acted promptly providing me with the access to the hotel data immediately. The stay, though short, was pleasant and the guest house was equipped with all the necessities. It is kept very clean and is comfortable. I recommend.

The location was absolutely perfect—close to everything we wanted to explore, making it easy to get around and enjoy the local attractions. But what really made our stay stand out was the incredible staff. They were so accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure all our requests were met. From check-in to check-out, they were friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. It really made the trip feel special. Highly recommend this hotel for its great location and amazing customer service!

Staff was very friendly and helpful, and their dog is such a sweetie who loves attention and meeting other dogs. Pet friendly hotels are just better all around.

There is a parking lot, there is no one at the reception in the evening and at night, but there is a person who is available on WhatsApp 24/7 In the morning you can make yourself a delicious coffee, take a cupcake. The room was clean and cozy. I didn't understand how to open the gate if you leave the key at the reception. I had to run while they were closing.
