elizabeth (10/5): Spectacular, luxurious and cozy stay on Etna Nord. - This property is a beautiful working winery and hotel with a beautiful design aesthetic and extremely kind, helpful and attentive staff. The pool was heated but it was a bit too cold to use it in the end of May. Our room had some quirks but nothing that was a huge issue. It seems to be popular to use a lot of air freshener/diffusers etc in hotel rooms all over Italy and we are unfortunately allergic to these kinds of things. So we had to put them outside overnight in attempt to remove the perfume from the air.

Janne (10/5): Superb - Our stay at Tenuta di Fessina was dangerously close to turning us into permanent Sicilians. The wines were so good that every “just one small glass” somehow became a full evening of smiling at Mount Etna. The staff were unbelievably warm and friendly — the kind of people who make you feel less like hotel guests and more like slightly spoiled family members. Every recommendation was perfect, every interaction genuine, and somehow they always appeared exactly when we needed another glass of wine. The rooms, heated pool and surroundings were spotless, elegant, and incredibly beautiful. Waking up among the vineyards with Etna in the background felt almost unfair to every other hotel we’ve ever visited. Stylish, peaceful, and full of character. If you love great wine, beautiful places, and hospitality that makes leaving emotionally difficult, Tenuta di Fessina is a masterpiece. -
Silver (10/5): Geweldig! - Prachtig hotel met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Het is heel smaakvol ingericht en gelet op elk detail. Het ligt aan een prachtige wijngaard waar ze hun eigen wijnen maken. Die zijn ook aan te raden trouwens! Wij hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf daar. De kamer was echt geweldig waar we verbleven!!!

Georgiana (10/5): More than just a stay - More than just a place, it’s a way of being. A beautiful location surrounded by vineyards, with warm people, great wine, and a delicious breakfast that made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended, and definitely a place to return to.
John (10/5): Fantastic vineyard stay in a beautiful 400 year estate. Charming, comfortable with incredible staff! - The property is classic Italian Vineyard comfort. Large comfortable house with private bedrooms/bathrooms. Our room had two balconies overlooking the pool and vineyards. Everything was impeccable. Public spaces felt like we were at a friends house. The staff, above all were kind, friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. Breakfast was generous, fresh and local. The wines are really great also. We bought a case and had it shipped home to the US. We will be back next year!

Verified traveler (8/5): Unique property with a heart - It’s a beautiful small property with a very cool design. Fairly rustic though and with a bit of a farmhouse feel and therefore maybe not for everyone. Managers and owners Giacomo and Paola are both fantastic. Giacomo in particular was a superstar, passionately speaking about the wines of the winery and the region, giving us great restaurant recommendations and really going above and beyond with a smile.
Ricardo (10/5): Unique experience! - We were extremely lucky to be the only guests on the main house which made our short stay to be very special! All the staff made us feel like special guests. The landscape is iidilic, the design of the room and common spaces is perfect! The wine tasting with food pairing is a must.

Serena, our host, was very attentive and calm throughout, regardless of her many tasks. The breakfast comprised of freshly baked goods and the wines from the estate were unique. A special place!
Jeff (10/5): - This is an interesting B&B in a working winery. We had a bit of difficulty having our Google Maps finding it accurately, but with the help of a delightful young woman running the operation we were able to find it. The signage is a bit difficult to see. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. Be aware that you are pretty much in the middle of nowhere. I don’t mean this in a negative way, but there are no nearby restaurants that you can walk to and the roads are very narrow and twisty, which was not an issue during the day, but at night a bit unnerving. There is a very good restaurant, Cave Ox, about two miles away in a small town. There are several good winery’s in the area to visit if that is your thing. All in all a very good stay.
Sarah (10/5): Eager to return! - Incredible experience, especially visiting shortly before harvest. Lydia, Serena, and the whole staff made the stay dream-worthy. The space is designed impeccably so that you can see the old palmetto (where the wine was historically made) through glass windows around the residence. Incredibly clean and luxe, yet with rustic character that made it feel even more comfortable and charming. There was even a kitchen to be used at our disposal. Homemade breads and pastries for breakfast were a treat. Highly, highly recommend staying here if you're in the Etna area. Or better yet, plan a trip to Mt. Etna just to visit Fessina.
