Tasteful decor, lovely roof terrace overlooking the ksar of Ait Benhaddou, and comfortable rooms. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, food delicious. Comfortable beds and everything super clean.

• Ian (10/5): A recommander! - Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce petit établissement. Décoré avec beaucoup de soin, dans un mélange de style bédouin du désert et design urbain. Le confort est au dessus de la moyenne comparé aux hébergement que nous avons visités au Maroc. Rien à redire! Sauf peut être son emplacement, au milieu d'une friche. Mais ça ne nous a pas du tout dérangé!

Hassan, the manager, respects and praises the owner for giving him a chance for a good life here in his home country with a fair salary, and the possibility to grow. Yahya and Zaccharia were very professional and observant to our every need. Abrahadim too! The renovated Kasbah is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We couldn‘t have been more happy. Thank you all for a memorable and welcoming experience🙏🏽 We stayed here two nights and had the best dining in Morocco!

The property is lovely staff very friendly the only negative it would have been nice to eat dinner on the terrace! Also the call to prayer wakes you at 5 am.

• GladysRoub (9/5): Séjour au calme dans un magnifique cadre - Magnifique riad et personnel aux petits soins. Hassan nous a organisé les transferts en taxi privé depuis Ouarzazate et vers Marrakech pour un budget (touriste) correct. Yahya et Zacharia ont été d’une extrême gentillesse pour faciliter notre séjour de deux nuits. Nous avons bcp apprécié le toit terrasse, et le calme. Chambre n1 agréable donnant sur un patio. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents et que dire du tajine de bœuf servi au dîner, une merveille !! Ait Ben Haddou mérite le détour et d’y passer une nuit au calme (pour nous après un trek dans le désert). Au calme donc forcément excentre : on peut rejoindre le ksar en 15 min à pied à travers des « jardins ». L’éloignement oblige à dîner sur place. Le bassin est tentant mais pas forcément bien exposé pour en profiter (un peu juste en mars il faut dire aussi).

We really appreciated being looked after fo our meals (we’re both vegan and I have a mushroom allergy). Everything was clearly explained and we felt well looked after.

Caffe espresso buono e colazione discreta. Pulizia ottima. Ambienti comuni belli ed arredati con gusti. Materasso molle e vista su macerie . Si potrebbe ripulire un po' l esterno. Non adatto a persone con problemi di mobilità per la presenza di gradini alti per arrivare alle stanze.

The property is beautifully designed and has a great atmosphere, and the staff was incredibly accommodating, especially for a short stay. A great place to stop and reset after time in the desert.

Das Frühstück mit tatsächlich selbst gebackenem Brot (haben wir gesehen) und sehr gutem Kaffee, Konfitüren, super Joghurt und Ei war eins der besten, die wir überhaupt jemals im Urlaub hatten. The staff were incredibly kind, caring, and genuinely social. They made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The accommodation itself was beautiful and very comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious. A special thank you to the young man who shared so many beautiful stories with us and took the time to watch the stars together. That was a truly memorable experience. The property is very tastefully designed and has a lovely atmosphere. What stood out the most during our stay was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. From the very first moment, they took great care of us and made us feel extremely welcome. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive, and they even showed us the way to Ait-Ben-Haddou and gave helpful advice. The service here truly stands out. Hassan leads his team very well and does a fantastic job creating such a welcoming environment. The breakfast and dinner were also very delicious, and we really enjoyed the food. Overall, we felt very comfortable and would happily come back anytime.

N’hésitez pas à demander Lahssen pour un roadtrip de la région ;) Le Riad se situe à 15 minutes de marche de la ville. Cela n’est pas gênant la journée mais de nuit il faut quand même le prendre en compte.

We host doet er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Wij hadden helaas autopech waardoor we een hele dag moesten wachten op een nieuwe auto, maar de host heeft ons ontzettend goed geholpen en we hebben alsnog een geweldige dag gehad. Je loopt vanuit de Riad in 15 min naar het dorpje. Nvt

What could be better: -we are early risers....kettle in the room or a communal tea station... - the size and cost of dinner (which this applies to many hotels and riads)...This riad is a walk of a few km from restaurants in town yet they only offer a 3 course dinner at 25euro. We prefer a small dinner but the walk at night was a bit much so an option of one course would be appreciated.

• Rene (10/5): kleine exklusive Unterkunft in Aït-Ben-Haddou gesucht? Riad Caravane - Wir sind über einen Insidertip auf diese Unterkunft gestoßen. Kaum zu glauben, was sich hinter den unscheinbaren Mauern verbirgt, wahrlich ein Kleinod. Unsere Erwartungen an diese Unterkunft wurden vollständig erfüllt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich jedoch, das uns ein Mitarbeiter einen kurzen schnellen Weg zur Kasbah von Aït-Ben-Haddou zeigte, so das wir noch am Nachmittag das Highlight besuchen konnten. Das marokkanische Frühstück und Dinner entsprach dann natürlich auch dem hohen Niveau der Unterkunft.
