- damian (6/5): A little expensive. - The kitchen was good and the shower was hot. It was noisy and cold. The location is not great, it’s a long way from the main plaza, maybe 15-20 minutes walk.
- Katia (8/5): -
- Bouchra (7/5): -
- Paolo (9/5): Superb - Everything. The staff is very helpful. The room is clean and the breakfast (vegan) is very abundant. There is a kitchen than everyone can use and also free drinkable water.
Highly recommended Nothing
- Naima (10/5): Exceptional - Chilled place, you can rest or join a tour, nice terrace on the rooftop and kitchen.
The only place in South America where I found a shower rug!!!
- Lars (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice and communal vibe at this hostel.
- Brett (8/5): Good value stay in Nasca - Easy to find, lots of chill areas, lots of bathrooms, in a residential area so quieter than downtown but still walk to market and bus station
- Harriet (7/5): Pleasant stay - Volunteers were exceptionally friendly, chatty and helpful.
The building was bright and colourful and had a well equipped kitchen. My bed was comfortable and I slept well. It's the only hostel I've stayed in where I paid for breakfast and no drink was included in the price.
I was quoted two different prices for the evening meal.
- Rhiannon (9/5): A cosy place with super friendly staff. - Friendly staff, great kitchen, lovely rooftop to chill. It’s a little further from the town centre than I realised but there were places to eat and a local fresh food market close by. 10 soles in a taxi to get to/ from the centre/ bus terminals
- Esmerelda (7/5): Good -
- Pauline (10/5): Perfect! - I think I never felt this welcome in a hostel before!
The service is excellent: I accidentally booked the wrong dates (one night to soon) but when I called it was no problem to change it. Then I arrived at 9:30 am without prior notice (I just wanted to leave my backpack) and I was able to check in immediately and take a shower. I was invited to excursions they organized and they booked a flight to the nazca lines for me.
The room itself was very clean and comfortable with a good shower (hot and good water pressure).
Everyone was so friendly and interested in chatting.
The location is a 10-15 min walk from the city center but I enjoyed that since the area is not as noisy as the center.
I‘ll definetely book this hostel again if I should come back to Nazca!
- Fukui (10/5): Exceptional - Kindness.
Thank you!
- Edson (8/5): Everything was great. - Everything was great. Everything was great.
- Dario (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heidi (9/5): A good sized, back street hostel. - The hostel was within a 15-minute walk to the main square and plenty of eateries. It was large and spacious with many communal resting areas, including a rooftop terrace. There was excellent internet wifi throughout, and it was on a quiet street (nothing to be done for any noisy drivers that used it!).
It was staffed by volunteers, and they were all great, friendly and helpful.
Plenty of tours were offered and should be taken advantage of rather than using unscrupulous taxis!
The kitchen was of a good size with a large 6 ring hob and oven, fridge/freezer and plentiful pots, pans, plates, bowls & cutlery etc. It was kept nice and clean during our stay.
Reasonably priced, same day, laundry was available. Storage available for bags after checkout.
Our room was a good size, with a comfortable bed. A fan was provided.
The bathroom was also a good size, with a hot shower! It would be nice if bedside lamps were provided, and the electric plug sockets weren't the best in the world.
The main bed was a bit small (narrow) and very little storge provided.
Extra hooks in the bathroom would have been helpful for the towels.
- Julian (8/5): Good value for money - Nice friendly staff.
Cheap, very good value for money.
Comfortable room
Good shower
Roof terrace
Pizza place nearby Towel and soap not included
Location is on the edge of the city, but ok.
We booked flight via hotel which is a bit cheaper. But in the end it’s not worth it. To see all the signs the airplane makes a lot of manoeuvres and in the airplane multiple people where puking which happened a lot. And just use to tower which is way cheaper and even a better few since its closer by. They also charged us because one of us was more than 90kg. And for 2 people the flight was 200 usd plus including taxes.
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kevin (8/5): Very good - Very proactive communication in advance. Very generous in allowing everyone to hang around the hostel after check out, using wifi etc until their buses depart in the evening. Noisy neighbourhood
- Alicia (9/5): Superb -
- Guns_82 (7/5): Good - Fumigation at 7-8pm which made the room unfit to sleep
- Guns_82 (8/5): Very good -
- Samuel (8/5): Very good - The staff were great and booked us an excellent flight tour over the Nasca Lines. The room itself was basic but fine for a very good price and the shared spaces were nice. Quick wifi and hot shower. The room opened onto the corridor which was a bit loud and bright. It would hace been good to hace a curtain for the glass door to help with brightness/privacy.
- Eric (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katie (8/5): Good hostel - Good hostel, friendly staff and owner runs lots of tours at a good price.
The room we spacious and clean, and also has a well equipped kitchen. Nice rooftop area to chill. Room did get quite hot even with the fan
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional - Super chilled, amazing vibe and great location. The owner, Roy's tours and hikes were fantastic. Unbelievable value for the cost. Nothing!
- Aisling (7/5): Good - The hostel is funky and I love the way it was decorated, especially the common area on the rooftop. The kitchen was dirty, with stagnant water trapped in the sink. The hostel was also a little far from the main part of town.
- Andrew (10/5): Try it. - The staff. All good. Made you so welcome. Bravo. Nada
- Keke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sidneycastillo (10/5): Exceptional -
- José (10/5): The best place if you are a traveler - The place was very cozy and pleasant, familiar It could be the sound from the floors above
- Dolly (10/5): very friendly staff and well equipped kitchen. View from terrace is breathtaking and close to market and center by 15min -
- Ara09srs (8/5): Good Nazca stay - Good option for a stay in Nazca. Clean and comfortable room. Nice rooftop area to relax.
- Noemie (9/5): Superb -
- Clara (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable artistic family atmosphere.
- Naomi (4/5): Bedbugs - The place looks cute and it has a kitchen to prepare meals. In the night I woke up because my hands were itching and I saw several bedbugs walking on my bed and the tabel in the room. We got another room for that night but the owner did not want to give us a refund for that night which was dissapointing. In the end we got our refund but we had to ask another time.
Also I did not like the common spaces. The place on the rooftop looks cute but is old and not clean. The place on the basement is not cozy to hang around.
- Antoine (6/5): Ok-tiers backpakc - Great atmosphere, rooftop is nice It’s far from the town and the surroundings are sketchy as cause of the many angry stray dogs and weirdos Peruvians fellas
- Lyubov (10/5): Exceptional -
- Magda (10/5): Exceptional - Great Staff, good wifi, and comfotable bed! I can recommend this place 😇
- Ryan (8/5): Very good -
- Michal (9/5): Superb -
- Adrien (7/5): Good -
- Silvia (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly and helpful stuff. Chill vibes, comfortable beds, clean, really good wifi.
The noises you hear from dogs or cars with microphones are all over Nazca. You will be fine with earplugs. I stayed two nights and slept like a baby. They have hot water in the shower and filter water for drinking and refill. They have a little kitchen and a fridge. The walk to the city center is a maximum of 10 minutes.
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional - Staff was very friendly, only 5 min walk from city center. Great views from the roof top. We took a tour with the hostile and Roy was very informative with the tripp. Nothing to say here
- Anna (9/5): Superb -
- Kadu (7/5): Nice place and cost/benefits, confused crew, bad tour - The room was great, there was plenty of space and the private bathroom was well equiped. The bed and sheets were also very good We had a tour with the hostel owner that didn't went well. The places we've been were super interesting, but he clearly didn't want to be there. Whenever there was an absolute need for explanation, he would whisper it and grab any chance to show a complete lack of interest in what he was doing.
He did knew a lot and a nice thing is that he added his local point of view, but if he could avoid explaining, making small talk or anything related to the job you'd expect from a guide in a 5hour tour, he would.
Also, we planned a nasca lines flight to 10AM, but got relocated to the 11AM group and delayed to actually board the plane around 12h30. Then we had to hurry all the tour so that we catch everything open and, when we got to the last attraction, we had only a few minutes to explore.
Overall, it feeled more like if we had a local taxi rider that waited for us to walk around the main city attractions - but were marketed/charged as if we were in a real tour.
- Marcela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carine (10/5): Amazing stay! - Very good location. Nice common areas. Amazing staff (ready to help you with all questions and tours). I will return for sure!
- Bri (10/5): Exceptional - This place was fabulous! The room was comfortable and clean with a nice bathroom & hot shower, the location was good, in a bit more of a local area which I liked, with a nice park one street over, and best of all the staff and the tours offered are fantastic. The tours are personalized and go to all the hot spots in the area, and they are given by the owner, who as others have said is a really nice & cool guy, and they are fun outings unlike the organized and very structured tours from agencies. Furthermore, the owner will arrange your flight & transportation to the lines as a service to his guests. The customer service & care here is top notch. Thanks Roy & staff for a very memorable stay. 💓
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb - Sweet check in people! Very knowledgable about tours in the area and helped me book my flight for the next day. They even helped me get a cab (which they did not have to do as cabs are very safe and cheap here ~5 soles) Very noisy from the cars and dogs barking (but this is the case all over Nazca)
- Kristie (9/5): Superb -
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gabriel (8/5): Great - The hostel in overall was ok Nothing to say
- Nurul (10/5): Perfect stay in Nazca - Roy, the owner, is super nice. So are the volunteers working there now. Stayed just for one night but felt very at home. Good kitchen to use. Nice rooftop. Location a bit out of the centre but can be reached within 10 to 15 minutes.
Plus the bathroom in my dorm was the most clean bathroom I have seen in my 5 months of traveling! Amazing. Nothing
- Nick (10/5): Great hostel, nice chill vibes, in a nice part of town. Roy (the owner) is a legend! -
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (8/5): was great - the people who work there and possibility to cook meals in the kitchen
- Ellen (10/5): Cool and funky - Great hosts who maintain a chill laid back vibe. They helped us book experiences and our bus back to Lima. Greatly enjoyed the lesson on how to make Pisco sours! The hotel is more like a hostel with private rooms. Clean, safe and amazing for the price. Light and colorful, with crazy playful random stuff covering all the walls. My room had sheets covered in hearts, a collection of metro cards and a diagram of a submarine on the wall by the bed and a large poster of Che Guevara. They have a little patio space on the roof that's lovely for hanging out at night. Be aware that upstairs hot water pressure in the shower depends on whether the downstairs people are using the water too. And although it is a quiet neighborhood there are lots of dogs that bark at night so bring ear plugs if that bothers you.
- Mark (5/5): Great staff but the place is only so-so. - Great people make the visit reasonable. Slept reaonably well after the dogs settled down. Room was really basic with no wall between hallway and bedroom, just thick curtains. Dogs in the neighborhood are pretty loud and the insuallation is minimal. Kitchen was a bit utilitarian.
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Flavian (9/5): Superb -
- Bianka (9/5): Superb -
- Marco (7/5): Good -
- Luca (10/5): Exceptional - Great staff and magical place!
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Mortensdatter (7/5): Good - The personal was lovely! and it was a quite place. I would not use their clothes washing services, as they don’t really separate clothes and one of my sweater was ruined. And also my socks didn’t really get clean.
- Merlin (8/5): Very good -
- Denise (8/5): Recommended! - We stayed in a private bedroom with our own bathroom and a queen bed. It was very comfortable. I definitely recommend earplugs for light sleepers since there is loud music until late at night. I appreciate the storage policy - we were able to store our bags before check-in (we arrived to Nazca by Cruz del Sur at 6 AM and they let us store our bags that early) and after check-out. The staff were super kind and very helpful. The have a kitchen with cooking materials that you can borrow. They also have a water filter for drinking water (we haven't seen this in any of our other stays), which we SUPER appreciated. The showers had hot water (which we also super appreciated). The only slight con is that it's a few blocks away walking from the main area, but it's not a terrible distance whatsoever and we felt safe walking in the area.
- Fanny (7/5): Good -
- Cristina (10/5): cool stay in Nasca - Cool place to stay in Nasca. Roy is a fantastic host/owner that will make you feel welcomed. They have a lot of information about activities to do during your stay. The hostel is very unique, having all the walls painted and full of art from travellers. Rooms are comfortable and, at least mine, had a bathroom inside the room. It was a bit outside the main square, but it was a very quiet neighbourhood.
- Isabella (10/5): Exceptional - Great place! Clean and spacious rooms, very good shower, filtered water available. Hosts are very helpful.
- Kathryn (9/5): Nasca little town with great history - The staff went out of there way to make sure I had driver and guide to see some of the local sites. Clean and safe for a solo female travler. The barking dogs.
- Maciej (9/5): Superb - comfortable beds, a lot clean bathrooms and free filtered water A little bit far from the main square but the area is very safe and you can walk at night.
- Brett (8/5): Cheap and comfortable hostel - Cheap comfortable hostel. Staff is helpful and friendly. Little far from the main city center (not too bad 15 minute walk), but generally it's a good deal.
- Clara (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were amazing, really fun and made sure to make you feel included and give you all the information you need about Nasca and the activities you can do. I was on a tight budget so one of the guys showed me all the archeoligal sites, museums and attractions I could do by foot around town ! It was great. Also the hostel is not so big as some others I stayed at in Peru so it makes bonding with other travellers really easy ! Rooms were great and the common areas are cosy and colorful
- Charles (10/5): Very Nice hostel in Nazca ! - Very nice hostel, located near the center. Very clean rooms and bathrooms, and the staff is such a nice team. There is a terrace with a view. Loved it ! Nothing.
