Dommage
- Luc (8/5): -
- Jacki (10/5): We loved it! - It was lovely, great building, beautiful rooms, well situated for being in the center of town and outside of it as well. The host, Marie Jean, is very kind and fun to talk to. They were very welcoming of our little dog, Moxie, too.
- Klaus (10/5): - Super nette und sympathische Chefin. Wunderschönes altes Haus mit viel Charme, liebevoll eingerichtet. Gemütliche, charmante Räume, jeder sehr stilvoll, aber alle unterschiedlich. Richtig tolles Hotel!
- Sabine (9/5): Wunderbar!
- Kristaps R (9/5): While the room pictures make it look a bit old, cheesy and cliché, the hotel and staff is amazing! -

- Stephen (9/5): A charming hotel with lovely, warm, welcoming hosts:) - The property was charming
- Kevin (9/5): The hotel exceeded my expectations. - Fantastic breakfast. Very helpful hosts. Great central location.
- NIGEL (10/5): Quirky, Artsy old church converted to lovely hotel - Loved this hotel ( old church ) for its quirkiness and eccentric decor , antique furniture and art . Bathroom was amazing . Welcomed by the owner was lovely and her hospitality was fabulous. Breakfast in the lovely courtyard was amazing . If you want a modern corporate room this is not it . However if you want history , style and art stay here . The restaurants recommended were great as was all the local information given . I will definitely stay here again
- Dianne (9/5): Superb - Very cute, funky hotel.
It has a lot of Charisma and charm the reception. Was very warm and welcoming I loved everything
- 647yavanna (6/5): Nice Hotel but with compromises - We chose the hotel and stayed during the Tour de France and this was one of the last hotels available.
The hotel is located close to the Carpentras city centre in a side road. Parking for unloading the car is possible but after that you have to park the car at the parking lot which us approximately 50m away from the hotel. Parking there is free.
The whole building is rather old fashioned and so are the rooms. But it has it‘s charm.
We had a balcony with view to the patio.
We did not really like the bathroom. The shower is within the bathtub which normally is no problem but in this bathroom there was no shower curtain and the water had almost no pressure which made washing hair very hard.
The „hairdryer“ was not really a hairdryer — so bring your own.
There is no AC and summers are hot. You have to let the door to the balcony open and will probably visited by a lot of mosquitos.
There is also no roomservice but if you need something you just have to let them know.
The patio is very lovely with a big tree in the middle.
The host is a nice woman but it seems that she and her husband are doing all by themselves. That means you have to bring a certain amount of patience with you.
The breakfast was really good and was served in the patio. Since the host is doing everything by herself you have to wait until she asks what you want. There is no buffet.
If you are a cyclist, I would NOT recommend this hotel at all. There is no spare room where you can put the bikes so we had them in the patio and therefore accessible for all guests. On the first day we were allowed to bring them in the lobby after 9pm because the weather forcast said that there would be rain.
All guests that came with bikes had to do it that way. You are not allowed to bring them into your room.
All in all I was a bit disappointed in Carpentras in general. You don’t have much restaurants and if you are hungry at 4pm you have to buy something at a supermarekt because none of the bistros is serving food at this time.
- Janine (10/5): A fabulous place and highly recommend - The room was amazing and the proprietor was so warm and friendly. Nothing 😊
- June (10/5): Exceptional - A gem of an hotel. 4 minutes walk to shops and restaurants and historical centre. Quiet area. 13 minutes walk to train station. Large car park across road.
Host most welcoming in a personal way. Hotel is very charming French style. The courtyard for breakfast wonderful. Will definitely stay again when in Carpentras. Thank you. Nothing! All good
- Gilli (8/5): Quirky and historic hotel that meets all functional needs. - If you're looking for a magnificent historic building with an amazing staircase, that hasn't been given a modern makeover, and still has "old fashioned" fixtures and quirky decor this place will suit you well. Three minutes walk from the old town and restaurants. Three minutes walk from the free carpark. No lift. Charming in it's own special way. I didn't stay for breakfast but the courtyard is a hidden treasure. Been there twice so I knew what to expect. Part of its charm is that it hasn't been modernised recently. My room had been partitioned so was a bit small. But each room is different.
- Kyung (3/5): Poor -
- Floritobi (10/5): Exceptional - Very personal and friendly service. Individualised breakfast. Our room was on the ground floor facing the inner court with shading trees. Quite a jewel.
- Howard (9/5): I eagerly recommend the Hotel Fiacre to anyone whi wishes to spend several days in Carpentras! You will be well cared f - I enjoyed the colorful florid and somewhat exotic decor, and I really appreciated the hostess, Marie Jeanne! She is lovely, warm, friendly, always eager to help, gifted with a sunny smile. She also serves delicious breakfasts!
- Lance (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): I’d stay again - Very nice breakfast, very gracious hostess
- Hoskins (3/5): Poor -
- Akims (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trine (1/5): Would not recommend - The information about the hotel is incorrect, they state they accept animals but really only accept dogs. This is not mentioned anywhere in the hotels description. We reserved a room in this “pet friendly” hotel because we always travel with our cats but when we showed up we were denied access to our reserved rooms. In other words we found ourselves in the very unfortunate situation of having to find an alternative room for our family late on a Friday afternoon in the middle of vacation season. The description also states the hotel has a parking but for the hotels 20+ rooms there are only 2 parking spots.
- Monika (8/5): Very good - Close to the city, nice rooms with an ancient taste, cold in the summer. Hostess was very accommodating. When I said there were mosquitoes, she quickly found a solution and also I was allowed to check in earlier because it was really hot outside that day. Very good hospitality. Nice hot chocolate. The breakfast can improve into a buffet :).
- Anne (6/5): Quirky place in the centre of town. - Loved the courtyard and it is very quirky. Hard to sleep with the heat even with fans in rooms. Left the window open and were destroyed with mosquito bites.
- Edward (8/5): Very good -
- Hannelore (9/5): Superb -
- Silvia (9/5): Lovely hotel with beautiful courtyard - A lovely old building, nicely renovated, near the centre of town. The internal courtyard is magnificent. The owner gave me a very warm welcome !
- Kenneth (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (9/5): Very friendly service and great location for exploring the old town. - Charming style of bedrooms and hall and dining room. Secluded courtyard at the centre of the property with stunning acacia tree.
- Derek (9/5): Staff were incredibly helpful and the location is excellent.. the building is beautiful and the peace and tranquility of - Location and staff
- Stewart (8/5): Ok - A grand old building. Owners very amenable and pleasant. Not very clean. Shower in my room a bit of a danger zone to get out of. Step from the shower too big for comfort.
- Joan (10/5): I had trouble getting a taxi to my work appointment, but the receptionist didn't stop until we found a solution. She - Very accommodating , clean, friendly,
- Dee (8/5): Very good -
- Papieravion (9/5): Superb -
- Tony (9/5): Delightful in every area - Unique style , location, room Nothing
- Michelle (9/5): Superb -
- Martin (9/5): We recommmend this owner-run hotel. - Marvellous wonderful service by the owner
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Böttcher (9/5): Basecamp for riding up to the Mont Ventoux. - Fascinating historical building with a huge courtyard where the gorgeous breakfast is served.
Public parking free of charge close to the hotel.
Restaurants and centre of town round the corner.
Safe parking for our bicycles.
- Helen (8/5): Very good - Served breakfast in pleasant gardens
- Claire (8/5): Weekend early August 2023 - We loved the quirky decor. The garden was a lovely spot for breakfast. Very good location. Very pleasant hostess No A/C. The hotel did provide fans for the bedrooms...and not their fault that the weather was exceptionally warm...but A/C would have been nice!
- John (10/5): A fabulous hidden treasure - Charming I liked everything about it
- Dario (6/5): Pleasant -
- Madelin (8/5): A wonderful welcome and enjoyable stay in this historically charming and friendly hotel. - The decor - historical charm. No
- Ralph (5/5): Quirky distressed look. - The nearby Vietnamese buffet restaurant was good quality and eat as much as you like for €19. The owner of Fiacre was more than pleasant. A lovely piano in the entrance. Parking totally random. The nearest parking is 100m away but when we arrived was totally full, but there was another car park another 50m away. However, on Friday and Sunday the large car park is used for a market so how you park then anywhere near the hotel is a mystery to me. I understand "distressed" decour is very fashionable these days, the hotel has beautifully naturally distressed decour would be a fair observation. The one parking spot the hotel does offer is not reserved for the painter and decorator. The hotel does have a really quirky feel to it which I'm sure others would be attracted to.
- Fiona (8/5): Very good - breakfast was excellent; hostess very helpful
- Ilia (7/5): Good -
- Frances (9/5): Superb -
- Jane (8/5): Very good -
- Angie (5/5): a stay in your grans house - central location step back in time. if you like a stately home then this is for you. eccentric interior design which the photos clearly show. no shower, no kettle.
- Maureen (8/5): Very good -
- Robbert (9/5): nice and warm - very friendly and helpful staff. This woman is really the perfect host.
- Map (10/5): - De ontvangst was hartelijk.
- Patrick (4/5): Moyen - Visite ville
- Verified traveler (2/5): No wifi - No wifi in the room.
- Diane (10/5): An elegant and friendly welcome awaits you - A beautiful hotel with such a friendly welcome from the owner who speaks very good English. The room was beautiful and easy parking is just a few metres away. Breakfast was served in the most sumptuous and elegant room and the breakfast itself was plentiful & beautifully presented. A wonderful stay!
- Eugene (8/5): Charming hotel in Carpentras - Comfortable and pleasant- charming decor, lovely garden courtyard
- Hendrik (10/5): Great location - This is a great hotel right in the centre of Carpentras, interiors are way over the top but rather great.
Expedia messed up the booking but the stay was great
- jess245 (8/5): boutique - If you're looking for a unique stay, then this is it, it has all the charm you're looking for in a hotel. The hotel is very boutique and has some great features. Breakfast was very French.
Your just a short walk from the centre.
The town did seem a bit short on restaurants ? But the it was May when we were there.
