• Romana (10/5): Truly exceptional! - I liked everything! The location - just a short walk and you're in the middle of Göreme. The breakfast - absolutely delicious! The room was very clean and comfortable with a great view of the town. Faruk and Alican from the front desk were really nice and helpful. I've booked all activities I did through them, also the airport shuttle. They reached out to me in advance for booking the airport shuttle and balloon flight. Everything was exceptional! I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who is interested in travelling to Cappadocia.

• Isabel (8/5): - Good location, short walking distance to Göreme busstation - some 300 meters Nice terrace with amazing view at night (rock formations + lights) and morning (hot air balloons) Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff Option to book tours and activities via the hotel Simple breakfast buffet, but sufficient enough It's very cosy to stay in the cave room :) Rooms get tidied/cleaned on a daily basis Cute cats live there as well the only thing I missed was freshly brewed good coffee/cappuccino in the morning, had to go to another coffeebar for that after breakfast However there is fresh tea available at the breakfast buffet, and instant coffee.

• Elba (5/5): Wish we could say more positive things about this ideal location. - Location of the hotel was great for walking to everything. The hotel lacks attention to detail. They have a great terrace and patio for guests but need more attractive style to its quaintness. The staff were wonderful and very helpful! Farouk made sure we got what we needed and was very kind! The breakfast was minimal. The coffee provided was instant coffee. Instant Nescafé. It could have offered fruits. No fresh fruit provided. The breakfast was offered later than most other places starting at 8:30am. Our excursions started soon after or right as breakfast was available, not enough time to enjoy it. The rooms did not have air condition and heat inside the rooms was unbearable, even with the window open. There was no room cleaning offered each day. The room was noisy in the late hours with other guests arriving after hours.

Each morning, the guest house provides a decent breakfast for guests, and my room, while simple, had a view of the hot air balloons floating by. A great stay overall!

• debanjanar2025 (10/5): Best stay ever. Home away from home - Lovely stay at this place. Feels like home, I was travelling solo, felt very safe. Hot breakfast served every morning, room cleaned, tea, coffee, hot water available 24x7 at the roof-top café. Great view. Faruk and Ali were extremely helpful, booked hot air balloon and tours. Ali who has turned his grandfather’s house into this stay is very welcoming. Close to taxi stand, restaurants, everything is walkable. Their cat Panda is super cute. Highly recommend. I had the best time here. Goreme is beautiful!

Nice and helpful personal, the accommodation is clean and conformtable, the breakfast is very good and the hotel has a great view too

Farut se mostrou muito prestativo, antes mesmo da minha chegada, me ajudando a reservar tour e me dando dicas importantes sobre a cidade. A acomodação é simples, mas tem tudo que precisa. A vista 360 do terraço é simplesmente incrivel, especialmente no nascer e por do sol. O wifi funcionou bem no quarto e no terraço. Com certeza voltaria a me hospedar aqui

• Fiona (8/5): - The hotel was conveniently located near downtown. It's extremely walkable. There is breakfast included which is in a nice dining area where you can watch the balloons. The room is inside a cave. It needs to be maintained. The front door is hard to open and the ceiling of the bathroom has debris falling. I believe that is a feature of the natural caves, but it's annoying to have the debris on your toiletries. The shower would also clog up (I am assuming from the debris that would come down from the ceiling). The beds were comfortable and the room was warm. The staff is extremely nice and personable. They were helpful with tour bookings and transportation. Overall, it's a nice hotel, but wished it would be renovated during the off peak seasons.

Faruk is very nice and helpful, he is willing to help and provide you every thing. A lady who prepare a breakfast is also very kind. I highly recommend as a budget hotel with value for money. It is a hotel for a CAT lover too.

The terraces (two) were not well maintained,the furniture had no taste ,esthetics,as compared to view of other terraces.Some good furniture,some carpets may add feel . Some noise in beds ,maybe mattress,with every move was disturbing. The policy of providing water bottles only on day of arrival was not good,I hope they relook into that.Atleast one refill every day should be done and if guests ask twice in a day they can put a charge.once daily replenishment of water should be considered as basic necessity.

• James (10/5): Friendly for solo travel to make new friends - My stay at the Karadut hotel was outstanding because of the friendly people I met, having a comfortable room, and the personalized experience during my stay as a solo traveler. The hospitality the staff provided was wonderful and they took care of you as if you were old friends. I chose Karadut over other hotels specifically because of the dining room and rooftop lounges with an amazing view of the city and air balloon balloons over the sky in the morning. Also the common areas were where I made new friends from around the world and planned some tours together. Nahide made the breakfast spread daily and was tasty. Faruk helped organize all of the tours with reputable operators at a better or same price as Viator and other sites so let him handle it. Ali worked the night shift and at sunrise ensured all guests made it to their transportation for their tours which was very sweet and added touch of genuine hospitality. It was sad to leave such a wonderful place but looking forward to returning in the future! Thank you guys!

I should have liked a room with a window to the outside, having booked ahead 7 months. No tea/ coffee making facilities in the room, which felt more like a cell than a hotel room. No cold drinks available other than 1 bottle of water, and no fridge.

• Arianna (4/5): Soggiorno in uno scantinato - Camera buia e caldissima, si accede da un corridoio di passaggio sulla scala che conduce al terrazzo dove servono la colazione. La camera é interrata e si trova praticamente sotto il terrazzo delle colazioni, due lucernai piccolissimi del soffitto della stanza affacciano su quello che é il pavimento del terrazzo. Al mattino non si può dormire per il rumore, il caldo della camera é soffocante non essendoci finestre ma due lucernai. Come se non bastasse dentro la camera hanno costruito una parete dove hanno ricavato il bagno di un' altra camera. Wifi non funzionante nella camera, funzionava male e a tratti negli spazi comuni. Colazione poco assortita e sempre con gli stessi pochi prodotti. La struttura é difficile da trovare, anche usando il navigatore. Abbiamo perso molto tempo prima di riuscire a trovarla. Non ci sono cartelli e l'insegna é difficile da vedere (l'ingresso sembra il portone di una casa non di un hotel). Nella struttura non c'é una lobby, solo un piccolo cortile assolato. La terrazza che dovrebbe consentire la vista panoramica non é ombreggiata e risulta difficile utilizzarla durante il giorno visto il caldo e le temperature elevate.

Faruck and Ali were great hosts, they helped and advised about the places to visit, tours etc, we really appreciated Faruck's help especially when we encountered a problem in our hot air balloon booking. Breakfast was really good as well. it would be nice to have some fruits on breakfast

They are very friendly and their servers are perfect. They gave me a free hotel room upgrade. It was comfortable room. You can see balloons from balcony. It’s very close. Also near the central street. I booked some tour and its regular price.balloon ride was perfect!

The travel distance of the main street near the bus terminal was appropriate, and the view of the outdoor terrace on the rooftop was a wonderful accommodation, In particular, thank you for your kindness to my family.

• Lorraine (10/5): Beautiful quiet place - A wonderful place to stay with lots of adorable cats. I loved the atmosphere and the views from the balcony . Panda the cat jumped onto my lap every morning . I enjoyed her company very much. Faruk and Ali arranged all of my tours and were always super fast with replys . When I was unlucky enough to get strep throat during my stay they arranged a taxi driver for me who also translated at the hospital . I was super thankful for their help . Couldn't have had better hosts . Thanks for everything! The bathroom could use a bit of renovating but that wasnt a deal breaker . :)

• Aswathy (10/5): Comfort in Cappadocia - Stayed at Karadut Cave Hotel in Cappadocia, and it was awesome! Faruk, the host, was super helpful and made planning our tours a breeze. Plus, the hotel's location is prime—really close to the Goreme bus stand and with a nice rooftop view to balloons and city. Highly recommend for a unique and convenient stay!

• Beini (9/5): The best hotel stay I had in Turkey - Nice little garden, two different terraces so you can see the hot air balloons very well no matter what direction they are flying. Super friendly and helpful staff, always response quickly. Spacious and comfortable room with a view. It’s a small town so everything was close enough to walk around. Quiet location so easy to sleep at night. Powerful heating in the room. Only one night some other guests were making some noise while they were having a party, but as soon as I complained to the manager, he resolved this problem very quickly.

But most of all, the staff is very helpful and kind (special thanks to Faruk who took time to explain everything to us, make reservations for us and kept making sure we were confortable) The breakfast could have been more varied. It starts at 8:30 am, by 9:15am, there wasn’t much food left.

• Takako (8/5): - ホテルと言うよりペンションやロッジと言った方が近いかもしれません。こじんまりしており、スタッフが少ないですが、フレンドリーなので問題はないです。 私の部屋は窓なしでしたが、天井が高いので圧迫感はなく、広さもあったので充分快適でした。Netflixが見られるTVもあります。ホテルWi-Fiも繋がります。バスルームは狭かったです。 ギョレメの街から高台にあるので、歩くのは少しきついですが、見晴らしがとてもよく、景色は素晴らしかったです。ホテルのテラスから朝の気球もバッチリ見えました。 朝食の種類は少ないですが、まぁ美味しいです。内容は変わりませんので連泊すると飽きるかも。朝食会場でもある食堂ではインスタントコーヒーや紅茶、ココアがいつでも飲み放題になっており、そこでくつろぐこともできます。 3泊しましたがタオル交換は一度もありませんでした。私もリクエストしなかったので、言ったらしてくれたのかもしれませんがわかりません。水が初日に一本置いてあっただけで、以降の追加はありませんでした。サービスはそれなりです。 重要事項。猫がいます。食堂にも入ってくるのでアレルギーや嫌いな方には辛いかもしれません。私と同じく猫が大好きなら最高の環境です。毛足の長い飼い猫のパンダちゃんはおひざに乗ってくれました。とても可愛かったです。朝ご飯のハムを1枚取られてしまいましたが最高に可愛いです。 猫好きで気楽に過ごしたい方にはおすすめします。

• rahulkaid (10/5): A cozy and simple stay - We had a very pleasant stay. A very quiet and quaint room. All the facilities were as promised. Farooq was great help. All his recommendations were on point. The breakfast was good and felt homely. They have a canteen on the top which has a great view. And a small viewing point from where you can take pictures with hot air balloons. Our room came with an extra bed which was great. It is also only a few minutes walking distance from the center of the town.

• Yoshy (10/5): First time visitor at Goreme Cappadocia region! - This cave hotel is exactly like the pictures in the description. It’s only minutes away from the city center. You have the option to arrange your tours with them or at a separate agency. I would recommend to book transportation with them ahead of time to save money and get a piece of mind.

They were very accommodating and nice and I would definitely recommend this hotel. The room was very nice and comfortable and the bathroom even had a towel heater!!! The breakfast was quite average, no fruit was served but was understandable for the price.

Even though I couldn’t join the hot ballon tours due to the bad weather, the staff organized the red tour for me and shared valuable information from local’s perspectives. They truly made my stay in Cappadocia unforgettable. Definitely come back here again! Nothing. If I needed to mention anything, it takes a bit time to turn into hot water when I take a shower. But not a big deal at all!
