- Esme (7/5): Very stylish and comfortable - Very comfortable, stylish rooms. Clean and tidy. Very generous bedroom and bathroom sizes. Breakfast was tasty. Sound travels throughout the house. The front door isn’t very quiet when closed, which woke us up in the night when guests / staff came in and out.

The extras are just what make this so special I particularly love this salted caramel macaroons. The staff are so lovely and friendly! This was my second stay here and I would definitely stay here again when I’m next in Bristol. It’s one of my favourite UK hotels I’ve stayed in! Nothing

The bed was large and comfortable, the bathroom was huge with both a bath and shower. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning which was delicious and hearty. We had no complaints at all

- Garth (9/5): A real jewel of a property in a great location. - Very efficient & friendly greeting at reception on arrival. Spacious bedroom /bathroom with tasteful decor. Large TV was welcome ( often tiny).Receptiinist was extremely helpful. Parking pass was helpful. Breakfast was delicious & in such comfy, convivial surroundings. A short but very sweet stay. Will be back if in the area. A small cupboard/chest of drawers in the room for storage be helpful.

- Katie (8/5): comfortable stay, even for my hard to please mum! - room was compact but with nice decor, comfy bed, nice view, good breakfast with large comfy chairs made it nice to linger and take our time. bathroom a little more dated, hardly any hand soap in the dispenser, and the shower head spurted water out at all angles, making it difficult to both get washed and keep your hair dry

- Hannah (9/5): Beautiful stay with a very comfy bed! - A beautiful hotel in a convenient location! I stayed in a room with a huge lovely bathroom with views looking out over Bristol. The bed was HUGE and so comfy, I slept like a log! Quiet and peaceful too. Small touches like the radio being on when you arrive in the room for the first time were very thoughtful. Robes and slippers made it feel very luxe! Breakfast was included and really tasty, you have to pre-order before 7am (I did mine the night before) which was a little unusual but no real issue. Handy to have the parking permits for the spaces on the road directly outside the hotel too! Very very minor - when I checked in the person on the front desk didn't know much about the local parking restrictions. I'd parked on a nearby permit-free road with some hour restrictions but they weren't sure about if this would be OK for overnight. Ultimately not a problem as I used the parking permit provided and moved my car! But just something for the hotel to think about.

Unfortunately the bed was not comfortable, pillows were too big and solid and it was difficult to control the temperature in the room. Windows had shutters which don’t block out the light in the mornings.
