Guest Reviews
- john (8/5): - Service No power
- ENZO (10/5): - Staying at Elephant Home isn't just about spending the night facing the national park, it's about discovering a community and supporting the amazing work they have done in the previous years. Parts of the benefits go to a school and to planting trees, they have now planted 700.000 trees!
( Ok it's also about the enjoying the delicious food prepared by Yason ( formerly a chief cook ) and Kosmas ! :p )
Just stay a few days there and go for a nature walk and community walks, cruise on the Kazinga channel... countless activities are at reach !
- katrien (9/5): Een mooie ervaring - Het project waar ze zich voor inzetten en het personeel. Geen warm water. Maar dat heeft het personeel opgelost 😊
- Christian (8/5): Absolute Remote Small Accomodation with great nature experience and super friendly staff. - Super friendly staff, totally remote, great breakfast and lunch/dinner options. Jason offers different dishes with meat and also vegetarian option. Ask for anything and they will help to get it. Also offers local tours to the communities around the area. Easy access to the Queen Elizabeth NP. The team Jason, James and Cosman are really amazing and fulfill all your wishes. it is not what i did not like, but just be prepared that there is limited water supply (all amenities worked), and electricity is only available at the reception building - so you need to plan ahead what and when to charge.
- Yaser (10/5): Amazing Green Place with the Most Amazing Staff - Everything. Such a magnificent place with a beautiful garden, maze, and forest setup. Food was delicious and prepared according to the request. Room was big and bed was comfortabl. Location is close to the city. 10 mins from QENP entrance.
Staff including the manager were phenomenal. Very friendly; accommodating, and humble. They even took care of extra requests I had (related to a rental car so not relevant to their business at all). I can't thank and recommend this place enough. Please stay there as it is affordable, friendly, and very beautiful. Nothing.
- Dirk (8/5): - Near to QENP
- Katherine (2/5): Avoid! Owner is threatening!! - Unfortunately a very bad experience. There was no power and no wifi. The food was extraordinarily expensive and awful. When I left they didn't believe I paid for my stay even though I showed the email confirming payment went through, the owner called the driver of a taxi I was on and was very threatening. I hate to leave a bad review and there were some nice people that worked there but the owner made me feel very unsafe so I have to advise everyone to avoid at all costs.
