• guy (7/5): Prima verblijf. Zeker goede locatie en prima bed, maar meer dan dat is het niet. - Fantastische locatie, prima bed, lekker dakterras. Wel gedateerd en douche met maar 3 druppels. Gedateerd en slechte douche. Vind redelijk aan de prijs voor wat je krijgt.
• Klaus (9/5): Cozy and atmospheric homebase - Wonderful location right around the main street of Polignano a Mare old town. Close to amazing sceneries and restaurants. Accommodation was clean, cute and just perfect for two persons needs. Hostess Andrea was helpful throughout our holiday and was easy to reach via messages. Big thanks to Grazia for a warm welcome despite the language barrier! Wifi connection could have been faster and the hair dryer could be updated, but both were more or less sufficient for our use during our stay.

• Britta (8/5): sehr kleine Unterkunft direkt am Zentrum - Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einer verkehrsberuhigten Zone direkt am Zentrum, so dass Bars, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten problemlos zu Fuß zu erreichen sind. Die Einrichtung ist schön aufeinander abgestimmt, ein kleines make-over z.B. Balkonmöbel wäre angebracht. Unsere Übergabe erfolgte durch einen Ersatz, der kaum Englisch sprach und seinen Handyübersetzer für jedes Detail zur Hilfe nehmen musste. Es war nicht möglich direkt an der Unterkunft zu parken, da alle Parkplätze schon belegt waren. Die Unterkunft ist WESENTLICH kleiner als auf den gut gemachten Fotos ersichtlich, genaugenommen ist sie winzig. Unsere Buchung erfolgte aufgrund der schönen Dachterrasse, die aber nur zum oberen Zimmer gehört. Das wurde so nicht kommuniziert und so hockten wir auf schlechten Stühlen auf einem Minimalbalkon und bekamen die Dachterrasse nie zu Gesicht. Dee Zugang zur Wohnu g erfolgt über eine ganz enge sehr steile Treppe.

• Michelle (4/5): Would work in a pinch but wouldn’t be our first choice - It had a good location with restaurants close by The stairs are a bit steep but thankfully not as bad as their unit above…those were dangerous. The unit’s entry door, securing it from other units in the building is a simple pocket door. Did not feel safe. Furthermore, for it to remain secure while you are inside, you must “lock” yourself in with the keys. Wondered if that breaks a fire code? The unit itself is smaller than appears in pictures. Utilizing the 3rd bed leaves zero room. The kitchen was clean but appeared grubby. Wi fi was extremely slow.
• Adriana (10/5): Kan niet beter - We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door een behulpzame gastvrouw. De locatie is gelegen aan de rand van het oude centrum. De studio was helemaal opgeknapt en van alles voorzien en bevatte een klein keukentje. Aan de straatkant is een klein balkonnetje. 's nachts is het er rustig. Er is geen ontbijt bij inbegrepen maar in de omgeving zijn genoeg mogelijkheden. Parkeren kan gratis ongeveer 10 minuten lopen vanaf de studio in de witte vakken in de wijk rondom Viale Unita d'Italia. Wij stonden vlakbij een grote supermarkt. Je hoeft dan niet als je er meerdere dagen verblijft iedere dag 's ochtends vroeg naar je parkeerplaats te lopen om eerst voor die dag te betalen.

• Munier (10/5): Parfait pour un séjour en amoureux. - Nous avons été très gentiment accueillis. Le logement était très mignon et la terrasse est grandement appréciable ! C’est juste magnifique. De plus on a été impressionnés par la qualité du ménage. On a tout aimé. S’il fallait simplement proposer quelque chose ce serait ceci : Il nous a manqué un petit micro onde, voir même une plaque de cuisson portable qu’on peut brancher. Parce que pour une nuit ça va on peut manger à l’extérieur mais si on reste plus longtemps ça peut être moins pratique selon les budgets 🤭

• Elaine (10/5): Beautiful little cozy spot in the heart of Polignano A Mare. Close to all the attractions. - It is a quaint little property in the heart of Polignano A Mare. The owner was very helpful in every way and so was her assistant. Provided us with great directions to the property along with parking information. The whole experience was very positive! Steep steps but only one set and I think in this type of property it is to be expected.

• Jack (10/5): A brilliant base to explore Polignano a Mare - Having just returned from a three night stay, we would not hesitate to return! The apartment was perfect and had everything we needed, the private terrace was a real treat! Location was great, a very quiet street and only a few minutes walk to the centre. The whole booking process was super easy and communication with Andrea was great. Very responsive to messages, provided detailed instructions for parking and finding the property. Grazia met us at the property to check us in and was on hand for anything we needed. She even joined us for a few cocktails at a local bar one afternoon which was great fun! Highly recommend and will definitely stay again in the future! Nothing.

The accommodation was absolutely charming — we loved having our morning coffee on the balcony and enjoying a glass of wine in the evening on the terrace while listening to the sea and watching the stars. Our host was amazing! She was so kind, always available, and whenever we needed any information, she gave us plenty of helpful suggestions. Everything was spotless, and to our surprise, the towels were changed every two days — something we’ve only experienced in hotels before. The location is perfect: right in the center, but in a quiet and peaceful area, away from the noise. We couldn’t have asked for a better place! If you have mobility issues, the stairs are difficult to climb. If you are not slim or athletic, it is difficult to fit into the shower cabin. It wasn't our case but it's good to know. Unfortunately the internet didn't work very well. I had to work for my job and had to use mobile data.

Nos recomendaron lugares, se preocuparon por nosotras y fueron muy atentos ! Un poco difícil para estaciones pero alejándote un poco del centro histórico se consigue lugar.

Un grazie speciale a Grazia, che ci ha accolti con grande calore, e ad Andrea, sempre disponibile e pronto ad aiutarci per qualsiasi esigenza. La loro gentilezza ha reso il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Se dovessimo tornare a Polignano, sceglieremmo senza dubbio questo posto. Lo consigliamo assolutamente!

Über die kleinen Kalkablagerungen im Badezimmer und die etwas undichte Dusche wird man aufgrund der guten Lage und dennoch ruhigen Nächte hinwegsehen.

• Aaron (9/5): Perfect in many ways. - We loved the location as it was close to everything, the outdoor terrace with two levels was also perfect as the first floor was nice and shady and upstairs you could use the sun loungers with great views. Stairs were a little steep but we was aware of this when we booked and with the character of the building I'm not sure they could be made any better.

Walking distance from all the main streets and squares for shopping and eating. She kept in regular touch and helped us over and beyond what was required of h - Fantastic location, close to the water, restaurants area, shopping and train station. We had two rooms, each with a balcony and one with an additional roof sun Tce with sun beds. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Both rooms are located on the second floor via a steep, narrow winding stairs. This could be challenging when carrying large cases especially for anyone with mobility issues.

We had a wonderful time and found everyone to be polite and helpf - This property is perfectly located for easy access to everything in Polignano and it’s not far from the train station making day trips to other areas easy. We had two rooms both of which had balcony outdoor space and one room had a lively roof terrace in addition to a large balcony. Our host Andrea went over and above to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She had lots of good recommendations re breakfast and dinner places and helped out with advice in other situations which arose while we were there. Thank you Andrea for making us at home. The property has a narrow, steep internal stairs to be climbed to reach the rooms. It was fine for us but could be challenging for some who may have mobility issues and also for families with young kids.

• Lara (10/5): Perfect stay! - The location was so close to all the restaurants and the main cove, so it is perfect for exploring. The apartment was very comfortable and lovely facilities. Both terraces are perfect, the lower one for morning coffee and the upper terrace to come back and relax in the sunshine with a view out to sea and when return for some star gazing in the evening. The host was very helpful and accommodated an early check-in, recommendations for restaurant and helped us get a taxi to airport when was stuck due to the train strikes. Communication was excellent. We will definitely stay here again. Nothing.

The flat was small however the outdoors verandah and rooftop terrace allowed for a - Great location, authentic period property, helpful staff 10/10 No complaints just a cautionary comment. Stairs up to the apartment are very steep, however they relate to the period and the authenticity of the stay. We expected this and had no issues.

Sadly the weather wasn’t good enough to stay up there but on a warm evening it would definitely be awesome. Despite the room being quite small everything was perfect and comfy. The bathroom is tiny but with excellent shower. Would definitely recommend! Thanks Gianni for being so welcoming and letting us know about parking and local restaurants! Nothing to mention

• Jayshree (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Polignano a mare! - The location of Respiro del mare is perfect! A very short walk to all of the shops, restaurants and to the sea. The roof terrace was lovely, we enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset. Andrea is a great host..she helped us to find a free parking spot, and we were greeted and showed to the apartment by her lovely colleague Grazia. We had the most amazing trip and I highly recommend staying at Respiro del mare

• Natascha (6/5): Cute small place for short city trip - Well situated, we could walk to the city center and enjoy the street view from the small terrace, it was also beautifully decorated and the double bed was comfortable. There was also a bed stopper to prevent the kids to fall from the bed which was perfect and also an umbrella for the beach. Very small place, and the second bed wasn’t very stable. The shower windows weren’t waterproof and there was a flooding in the bathroom everytime we took a shower. Also the kitchen amenties were dirty and there weren’t enough cutlery for even a couple.

Boendet städas varannan dag vilket inkluderar nya handdukar och sängkläder vilket är väldigt trevligt. Läget på lägenheten är fantastiskt med gångavstånd till alla restauranger, sevärdheter och flertalet badplatser runt om Polignano a Mare.

• Vanessa (10/5): - Fabulous stay, loved staying at Respiro del Mare. The stairs were a little of a challenge for my husband with a large suitcase but we thought it added to the quirkiness of the place and didn’t mind the climb. Fantastic location and a 2 minute walk to the main pedestrian area, plenty of restaurants, bars, Gelato and snack places. Andrea was always available to answer any questions and ensured our stay was enjoyable. Would recommend staying here to anyone wanting to explore Polignano and surrounding areas.
• Stan (9/5): A very warm and cozy place to stay in Polignano a Mare - Respiro del mare has a great terace, it's a very cozy and warm place to stay. We were very well welcomed, the owner insisted a lot in making us and our son, feel good. It is close to the main attractions, near to Via Roma, the street with the lyrics of Volare, close to the beach, to everything. Polignano al Mare is amazing, we had a wonderful time there. -

• Martine (8/5): Very good - The place is cute, well located near the historical center and the sea, the balcony was a plus. It was very clean.. the host Gianni drove me around for a charge. A tad too pricey. For this price they should throw in breakfast. Tea and à map of the city should have been available upon arrival as well as addresses of supermarket, restaurants, bars ..the hostess kindly provided me with everything within half an hour but the point is i should not have to ask.. The instructions on the board are in Italian. They should be in English too.

Frigo, bouilloire et café capsules, tout est là. L'accueil est vraiment très gentil et serviable, contact WhatsApp super facile en anglais ou italien. Autour il y a les vues fantastiques sur l'Adriatique (ne pas manquer Lama Monachile !) et nombre de restaurants délicieux et abordables.

E' davvero suggestivo aprire la porta d'ingresso e trovarsi a pochi passi dalla scogliera e dal centro. Gli interni sono come da foto, ovvero spettacolari. La ricca colazione viene lasciata sulla tavola il giorno precedente e ti fa sentire proprio a casa. Proprietario e i suoi collaboratori organizzatissimi e gentilissimi.
• Brigitte (10/5): - Zentral gelegen, sehr hübsch eingerichtet, sauber und gemütlich. dachterrasse und Balkon. Der Gastgeber sehr, sehr hilfsbereit (wir waren ohne Koffer angekommen) er hat geholfen, wo er konnte. Sehr empfehlenswert!

• Monique (2/5): Arnaque. Fuyez. - BB à déconseiller. Nous avions choisi une Suite avec vue panoramique sur ("l'océan"?) la mer. La suite mesurait entre 10 et 12m2, la salle de bain inférieure à 3m2..Pour info, un rouleau de papier toilette entamé pour les 2 nuits. La vue panoramique était une vue sur les antennes de télévision derrière lesquelles on devinait la mer, nous n'étions pas en première ligne. Nous avons passé 15 jours dans Les Pouilles, c'est le seul BB dans lequel le petit déjeuner n'était pas inclus dans le prix exorbitant de 105,37 euros la nuit. Je ne vous parlerai pas de la déco. Quant à l'accès de la chambre, au deuxième étage, il se fait par un escalier que l'on pourrait qualifier d'escalier de la mort, très étroit, marches avec des hauteurs différentes, hyper dangereux..
• Arnaud (10/5): Appartement T1 central avec agréable terrasse - Appartement mignon et central pour profiter des ruelles du centre ville. Une terrasse agréable pour se poser au soleil. Tonia qui nous accueille en parlant un peu français et qui est présente pour répondre à nos demandes. Recommandons vivement POLIGNANO A MARE.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Hosts tonia and Andrea were very accomodating, especially since we arrived late (after midnight). Tonia even took us to find dinner on the Night we arrived!
• Jolanda (10/5): ein super erlebnis - das zimmer mit de terrasse und der dachterrase mitten in der gepflegten altstadt hat uns sehrgut gefallen. wir würden das zimmer wider mieten. auch die freundliche und temperamentvolle begrüssung von tonia hat uns begeistert.
• Luigi (10/5): - Ottimo B&B in pieno centro citta'. A 50 metri dall'area pedonale. Camera molto carina e confortevole. Servizio di accoglienza e supporto eccellente. Molto bello anche il terrazzo. Attenzione alla scala che e' molto ripida.
• Francesco (10/5): Bellissima esperienza! - Abbiamo soggiornato per una notte nella suite con terrazza. È stato tutto perfetto a partire dall'accoglienza calorosa e molto disponibile.Struttura nuova ben arredata mantenendo lo stile tipico del posto.Dalla terrazza si può godere di una vista fantastica e il letto era comodissimo. Soggiorno consigliatissimo in questa struttura.
