Guest Reviews
- Scotty (10/5): - Stafff was amazing , rooms were great , will stay there again
- Peter (6/5): - The jacuzzi tub, Motel hot water seems stuck on tepid.
Nothing much to write home about.
- Lawrence (10/5): - Stay often. Great hidden gem.
- LT (10/5): - Hot tub in room nice
- Verified traveler (10/5): Loved our Stay - very friendly staff, excellent stay, comfortable bed, microwave worked well.
bathroom was clean. beautiful location as well, very close to a tram station.
- James (10/5): Awesome place - The owners moved several large plants so I could park my trailer on site
- LT (10/5): - The hot tub was the bomb
- Ian (4/5): Bad policies - Ring the locked office door to be told there is a $50 cash deposit and you cannot use card. So had to drive to an atm but would have rather canceled the stay and gotten refunded but the front desk guy said they don’t refund the website here does. Big waste of time even though I stayed the night to avoid losing more money. They also had a sign that said checkout was at 11pm? But they did not honor this. Pillows had sweat stains and the blanket already had cigarette burns from a previous guest. Pretty gross condition overall. Every bath towel had string coming from the corners and very worn. Only thing that worked well was the ac and tv. Bed was not comfy and felt dirty.
- Alene (2/5): - Just bad. So so bad.
- Robert (4/5): - Called to confirm reservation on 5/31 made confirmation. Upon arrival there is a mandatory $50 cash deposit required to complete check in. Never informed about this during the confirmation process and was invited to walk a half mile to the closest ATM. When I returned with the mandatory cash deposit… I asked where’s the ice machine? Response “ we don’t have one “. Probably this is a repeat scenario at this sub par facility. Never going back ever.
- Sheena (10/5): - Friendly staff. Small and quiet property. I will probably be back soon.
- Phillip (2/5): - Paid 275 on line then when i arrived it was 320 got room and was dirty left next day
- Michael (10/5): - It was a great pleasure to stay here
- Michelle (8/5): - …
- Dragan (2/5): - Thank you never more
- David (6/5): Lawn mower. - The room was fine. Big problem though. It was 90 degrees outside and not much cooler in room. I put on the AC but it sounded like a malfunctioning lawn mower.
I had a poor nights sleep as a result.
Kind of ruined the next day.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Outlet beside sink without power. Room not cleaned after first night.
- Edward (6/5): - It’s a old place
- Gerald (2/5): - Horrible. The room was very dirty they didn't offer any kind of service or refund to make it right. I have pictures.
- Terri (2/5): - Upon arrival shabby exterior noted. *Lobby* accessed only by buzzer. Staff behind glass. Note that hourly rates available. Need I say more? I did not stay.
- Jolynne (6/5): - This place was affordable and close to where we wanted to be. Looks as though multiple people live in unit some of which weren't so courteous in the middle of the night.
- Brian (4/5): - The property is run down and i didn't realize it was a you can pay by the hour. Furniture was broken, bathroom floor felt like it was going to collapse, just not at all good. I only stayed there because it was close to why I was in town for a day. Next time I'll just drive the extra bit to stay somewhere nicer.
- Mandy (4/5): - Rooms by the hour & long term renters of sorts. Rooms are in disrepair. Advertised hot tub, broken , chipped and dirty towels, garbage in drains, etc. bars on bathroom windows.
- 358tiffinyg (10/5): A place of its own, somewhere to call home, even short term. - It felt like a home away from home. I actually miss Krishan and Tabitha in addition to the professionalism of the owners. Thank you for making our transition safe and our journey filled with long lasting memories. Miss you all. I appreciate all that you did for my family.
- Samantha (4/5): - They put us under the proprietor unit so them and their dog woke us up before 7am, then the neighboring unit got cop knocked before 8am. When i checked in the person literally didnt speak more than 3 words, didnt say anything about the room, or mention anytbing about check out. I am surprised this place doesnt rent by the hour.
Someome had put a trash bag over the smoke detector and had clearly been smoking in there, there was random graffiti on the wall and the entire unit was on a slant including the bed.
- lauren (10/5): - had a great stay! staff was friendly and quick with everything. amazing place for a weekend getaway, will be returning!
- John (10/5): - Staff was excellent
- lauren (10/5): - staff was amazing and helpful. had a great stay. a nice little quiet area
- KEITH (8/5): - K
- Scott (10/5): Felt like a KING at Kings Row Inn - Check in was a breeze. My MAN at the desk and the helm of this establishment was awesome to me. Always asking if I need anything, and very quiet aswell. WILLNCOME BACK.... ROOM 11 is wanting for me.
- 791tiffinyg (10/5): Beside the busy, fast paced life, Kings Row always gives you a peace of mind - Kings Row Inn management are masters in management, taking great care of their guests safety and needs. Housekeeping goes above and beyond to create a clean, and tidy space, always checking in to make sure the accommodations are meeting your expectations. Thank you Kings Row Inn, you are fantabulous!
- Tammy (10/5): - We went to relax and enjoy a couple days together the hot tub was so small i barely fit in it and im 5 foot 5 definitely cant fit two adults in it that was disappointing
- Stephen (4/5): Adventure or ...? - Well, the heater and air conditioner were the same unit and when I turned down the temperature by 2 degrees the air conditioning kicked in. I was miserable all night with the heater running and the curtains didn't block out the exterior lighting.
then the shower handle fell off...what an adventure.
- cameron (4/5): - Not surprised given the price of the inn. It’s a place to lay your head for the night, don’t expect anything more.
- Carlo (4/5): - The room was not adequately stocked with supplies. There were cigarette holes in the bed sheet. There was a distinct smell of covered tobacco smoke with some chemical. Otherwise the bed was comfortable and the place was quiet. I didn't see any extra tub that was advertised though.
- John (8/5): - Semi circle of 10 or so rooms in a few buildings, 1940s style. No lamps or bedside tables, gun shop next door. Bikini barista in coffee hut out front. If those things don't bother you then enjoy the friendly staff and have surprisingly quiet stay.
- Lynsi (2/5): Scary - This was the worst experience i have ever had at a motel! The shower was disgusting, and full of mold. The entire room was riddled with mold, and blood spatter everywhere. The "Jacuzzi" didn't even work, and had flakes of plastic breaking off on the bottom. The worst thing that happened while we were there was getting locked into the room, and having to crawl through the window to leave the hotel. I was done at that point. Dont waste your money.
- Jake (2/5): - We ordered a pizza that was stolen by the tweakers living in the room next to us.
- Rocky (2/5): - No pets or smoking though the room smells like a wet dog, bed sheets are holy and dirty and the towels were used and carpets were gross and blood splatter on the ceiling from idk what and mold in the rooms and pain pealing and the tv worked but had no antenna or cable or satellite hooked up so couldn’t watch tv, the neighbors were all tweakers and made it feel unsafe to leave your vehicle alone and definitely didn’t feel safe enough to want to be there, the floors were rotted and sinking and a leaky toilet causing wet floors and the toilet wasn’t cleaned and was used by someone that couldn’t aim, parking was also horrible
All together it was the worst experience I ever had and way to high of a price for what it was
- MT (2/5): - Oh my, where do I begin?? The man in the office was fine, when I noticed he had the tv remote with him behind the FULL PLEXIGLASS wall I asked if things were rough around here? He said no…. When I got to my room, there were holes all over the walls, the bedside table was covered with sticky marks, the shower was very moldy, the towels were stained with black marks and the handle fell off the fridge when I touched it. I could provide a few more examples, but….
The thing that disturbed me the most was the number of times I saw the police in the parking lot, 3 times in one evening. Additionally I observed strange men hanging around right outside my door at night. I was completely terrified.
The reason I was staying there was because I was in town for a funeral and it was very close to the location of the gathering.
I certainly learned my lesson not to stay in inexpensive motels.
- Daniel (10/5): - :)
- Michaela (2/5): - There was blood on the walls. When we told him it didn't seem to bother him at all. Tweekers in the lot not even in a space doors open and passed out in driver seat. The bathroom was so small, and the "jet" tub didn't work. They didn't clean very well. Random stuff all over walls. We didn't stay the night. After an hour we requested a refund. Do not recommend them at l
- Norman (2/5): - The room smelled like mold and vomit.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This place was so utterly disgusting it looked like somebody wiped the floor, with the towels and then scrub the toilet with them they were so black I could not believe how disgustingly dirty they were I tried to get my money back however of course Expedia I guess does not guarantee
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not a family friendly place to be in. - Place really wasn't as advertised. For the price you would be way better off getting a room at a Best Western. There were "strangers" knocking on our door at all times of the night, no real amenities in the room (coffee maker, soaps, etc.) and the walls were paper thin.
- Brandi (10/5): Fav Stay-Cation - I am always glad when they have an opening! My fav place for a relaxing weekend
- Moe (2/5): - I never been in a hotel worse than it, it shouldn’t be In Expedia
- Mike (2/5): - Can not believe they are in business......no hot water, floor dirty, stains on all towel
- Verified traveler (2/5): disgusting and scummy - Room smelled like urine, thin walls, syringe cap on floor, in and out traffic of other guests all night long, bed not level and head of bed was lower than foot of bed, cigarette burns everywhere on window sills, edge of tub.
- Eryn (10/5): Wonderful - The property was very accommodating and welcoming and we enjoyed our stay very much! We opted for a jacuzzi suite and we left very relaxed!!!
- SP (2/5): - Nothing, there were ants everywhere. We did NOT have sheets on our bed, everything was dirty, there was mold all over the bathroom, it was disgusting! We didn’t even stay!!!!
- Scott (2/5): Wouldnt let me get room - Wouldnt let me get room
- Verified traveler (6/5): - My stay was ok besides paying extra for a room with a jacuzzi that didn't even work that and we had to move rooms because the 1st room was dirty but I'm upset we paid for a room with a jacuzzi and didn't even get to use it
- Kali (4/5): Bad stay - Was unable to get the hot tube room I asked for didn’t get my money back the room I got was dirty and had burn holes in the bedding
- Verified traveler (4/5): Thumbs down - The towels need to be replaced and were stained and looked total worn out and not white at all. No shampoo for guest just soap. No coffee available! Luke warm water for the supposedly heated jet tub.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff is always super nice and the rooms are super clean!
- Robert (8/5): - This is the place we come every time we have to send somebody to class. None of our employees have ever complained. Must be good!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Favorite place to stay! Wonderful staff and cozy rooms!
- Kelly (2/5): - The location was close to our grandchildren, so we could visit them. This place is awful. The location was the only reason we stayed there ONE night. The 5 stars it was rated was false in every possible way.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Checkin was easy and friendly. Bed and bedding were great.
- Gil (4/5): - Pros: close to transit
Cons: very spartan, dingy-looking property
- Mary Catherine (2/5): - The room was dirty , outside was dirty . I didn’t want to sleep in sheets afraid of bedbugs. Worst ever in my life Smoke holes in blanket, bug in bathroom.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Its a nice to stay. Its close to where I was needing to be.
- Agr0N (6/5): Decent for the money - Was looking for inexpensive place to stay for two nights and it was late at night. Saw the VACANCY sign and decided to give it a try. The rooms are older and basic but they were clean. Nice TV, microwave, mini frig, free wi-fi worked good, bathroom worked as it should. Check in was fast & simple. I have stayed at MANY budget motels and for the money this was a decent place.
- stevenwV2688CF (6/5): It was fine. - I don't expect very much when I'm looking for the cheapest place I can possibly find, which is what this place was, but I should have looked harder, I've found simular airb&b's for a lot less since then.
- raquelybaker (8/5): Decent price, comfy bed - Stayed in room 3. I always request room 3. Cute room, comfy bed. There is no bathtub just a single person shower. It contains a small microwave, small refrigerator, and a little sink. It has a 35" flat panel tv and cable. We've paid anywhere from $65 - $85 depending on the weekend. That price is including taxes and fees.
In the bathroom was an extra roll of toilet paper and two small packages of bar soap.
We will be back again in June.
- 42kittyb (6/5): Cheap and subtle - Upon getting the room we opened the hefty stuck door with an old-fashioned punch card. The room had a funky smell that dissipated with the window open (and won't close and lock). The refrigerator had a smell of mildew/mold. No soap or amenities other than a pack of matches for the smoking room. Mirror on ceiling. No hot tub; just a double-wide shower stall. No pets allowed but we got an okay for our service animal. Faux wood panel walls with patchwork pieces on some spots. Old turn-key heater beside the bed that heats the room pretty quick. Standard cable channels. All in all, a cozy little motel off a major road to many stores and bus/max line.
