Les équipements proposés en adéquation avec les besoins et quel emplacement ! A 2 pas du Gion 4 des grandes artères commerciales et à peine plus du Nishiki market. Cet endroit est au top 👌 Allez, pour vraiment chipoter le sèche-linge est un peu poussif mais est ce vraiment ce que l’on recherche dans une location ?

• JC (6/5): An alright place to stay in Kyoto, I wouldn't stay here in the future - Hotel staff were amazing, and the morning breakfasts were alright! Room itself was lackluster, and everything felt cheap. No room service, but at least you can pick towels from the main lobby whenever you want and emptying your combustibles/recycling was easy enough. But there was not a full mirror, no paper towels, no hooks/racks to place towels you just used, and everything felt a bit cheap. It was nice to have a couch in the hotel though. Great as a home base around the kyoto area as it has a washing machine. Hotel can have luggage forwarded to and staff will help forward luggage to your next stay, which helps a lot! The clothes dryer ruined some of our clothes.

This is our (my husband and I) 2nd trip to Kyoto and we loved staying here. For those who don't speak any Japanese, the front desk workers (8:30 am - 8:30 pm) speak english fluently. The front desk workers between 8:30pm and 8:30am speak only Japanese (when we were there) but if you need you can definitely use an translating app and you'll be fine. They will also hold you luggage until check in. They can also help arrange luggage transport services should you need. The location is very convenient we could easily walk to Gion, Ninenzaka, Nishiki market, and the Kawaramachi shopping area. Lots of dining options nearby as well. The kitchen and larger than usual refrigerator/freezer was so convenient to be able to shop a grocery stores and make food in room (especially for breakfast). They have condiment and cooking spices downstairs should you need any for your cooking. In room washer/dryer and drying rack to hang clothes is also extremely convenient. I would recommend booking a river view room as it is very nice and relaxing to sit on the balcony and watch the birds as well as people walking their dogs. I didn't have any issues with anything during our stay. We had a wonderful stay and appreciate the workers who were courteous, helpful, and kind.

We could see Kiyomizu-dera from our balcony. We had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. The kitchenette was handy for leisurely breakfast and snacks, and it was lovely to have a washer/dryer. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Minimale Kritik: Es fehlen Haken im Badezimmer zum Aufhängen der Handtücher bzw. Kosmetikbeutel. Der Boden wird schnell dreckig! Mehr Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen wären super gewesen.

It was our first time in Japan and so we were a bit nervous, but all went well. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, the location was GREAT, just a street over from the busier part of Kyoto and easily walkable to so many amazing restaurants, bars and locations. The tatami room was a great little slice of a bit more of Japanese culture and the washer in the room was a huge plus, we would absolutely stay here again. The balcony is a bit small, just for standing really but honestly not a huge deal and in no way took away from our enjoyment during our stay.
