Guest Reviews
- hind (10/5): Super - Incroyable site!!
- Seung (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharan (10/5): Peaceful - Excellent place and wonderful host None
- Tom (9/5): Superb -
- Anne-gaelle (10/5): Beautiful stayaway close to the golden city - The place was beautiful, very traditional but with all the modern comfort needed (air conditioning, nice amenities including laundry). The staff was very friendly, even giving us a ride to the station on our departure day after our bus didn't arrive. It is easy to get to the city from there, and it is next to beautiful tumulus tombs, so I would recommend it to anyone visiting Gyeongju!
- Julia (9/5): perfect way to experience gyeongju - It’s a beautiful traditional hanok with trails right outside the back door. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom/shower well-equipped. Appreciate how she prepared snacks and drinks for us. I enjoyed being away from the city center, but it is about 3 km to get there. Usually taxi (kakao taxi) was very accessible and cost ~6,000 won to get there.
- Luc (8/5): Great! - Great owner, amazing Hanok experience. I recommend going for a walk to the mountain by following the trail! Nothing was bad, but know what you are getting into! It can get cold at night and sleeping on the floor in a traditional bed won't be for everybody.
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional - A fantastic place, that's great to experience very traditional and authentic old style korean houses, with ancient tombs and monuments surrounding the property. The stay was very tranquil, it's possible. To walk to the city centre in 30-40?mins or 5-10 mins by taxi. A great cafe opposite serving nice coffee and traditional breads/brioche.
- Livia (8/5): Very good -
- Thomas (10/5): Amazing place - Phenomenal location--about 10 min drive to the city center so you will need a car. If you have a car it is small windy streets together here which adds to the experience. Shower and shared bathroom were spotless.
The site is from the 14th century, lovenly restored. The linens provided were gorgeous. Honestly one of my favorite stays to date in my lifetime Loved it all. If you need a full kitchen, don't stay here. Just the basics, microwave and fridge.
- Dennis (10/5): Exceptional - Very Nice place. In a tomb area. Next to the nationalpark and a cosy café. Exelent vegetarian restaurant nearby.
- Anonymous (8/5): first of all it was unusually freezing in terms of temperature in Gyeongju. So having to go outside to get to the bathro - we liked the historic nature of the property. and the serenity the kitchen was very separated from the property
- Julian (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful traditional Korean place in a small mountain village. Good communication with the host. Free coffee, water and even some ramen cups.
- Adrian (9/5): Superb -
