Supermercado a escos minutos el el centro de Baiona a escasamente 10 minutos de paseo. La zona resulta muy tranquila y sin ruidos. está bien equipada con piscina , barbacoa y parking privado exterior. El apartamento está bien equipado y dispone de todo lo necesario para pasar unas buenas vacaciones Por poner un pero, en el parking se agradecería algo más de sombra para los coches. También colocaria un dispensador de gel en la ducha

Por decir algún inconveniente se escuchaba mucho ladrar a los perros vecinos, a veces nos despertaban pero no es culpa de los apartamentos.

• ISABEL (10/5): Siempre perfectos - Las instalaciones exteriores son fabulosas, jardín con tumbonas, piscina, barbacoas, sitios para estar sentado leyendo y todas las comodidades que se pueden necesitar lavadoras, secadoras de uso gratuito, hasta carritos de la compra. Y los apartamentos con todas las comodidades e infinidad de detalles de bienvenida, bombones, café , neceser con cosas de aseo. Parking muy cómodo y si se siguen las indicaciones que facilitan fácil de llegar.. Joaquín y su equipo siguen haciendo que Ababides sea otro nivel Nada. Por decir algo las sartenes que aunque estaban limpiisimas se agarraba y quizás algún enchufe más en el salón pero estaban muy completos.

The location was excellent, and we were able to walk to the center of town easily for dinner. We also appreciate that there was a secure storage place for our bikes.

Garden was beautiful and always managed to find a great spot in the shade when needed and lots of places to sit and relax.

Close to shops, superb staff, great living space, fab swimming pool 💕👍🏻 will definitely come back and highly recommend to all. Walking distance to everywhere. • CarolD447 (2/5): Terribly Disappointing - I am sitting right now on an uncomfortable sofa bed. The only other thing to sit on is a tiny stool with no back. The place reeks of cigarette smoke. The shower head wouldn't stay in place, and my husband ran out of hot water. The owner is very nice, but does that warrant all the great reviews? I have been in a 6 week trip in Spain, and this is the worst value of all.
• Y2964WGpeter (10/5): Spacious and peaceful yet only a few hundred metres from the centre of Baiona. - We have stayed here twice. The apartment can't be faulted. Well equipped and scrupulously clean with extensive gardens (shared with other apartments). As with much of semi-rural Spain there were occasionally barking dogs in the neighbourhood but very much less so than two yers ago.
• jkushn_109345 (10/5): Fabulous apartments in a beautiful old town - This was our second visit and it was wonderful. They are so friendly and the place is clean and comfortable. The pool is lovely and you can relax in the deck chairs. There are enough BBQs for everyone tables and chairs to eat outside. You couldn't hope for a better place.

• 83CathH (10/5): Couldn't have been better! - We booked this holiday without really knowing much about the area and chose Ababides Apartments because of the positive reviews. We weren't let down at all. From the moment we arrived until we left everything was perfect. We were met on Sunday and talked through everything. The apartment was spotless and modern - with an AirCon unit in all the main rooms. The kitchen was really well equipped and everything had been thought about. Coffee machine, pots, pans, knives, utensils, etc. Clean linen and towels were brought in every 3 days. The outside space was beautifully manicured and clearly very well cared for. A lot of pride is taken about the place and it really shows. The Pool was clean and there were 4 barbecue areas to use - plus other outdoor seating facilities. It was excellent value for money and we are already thinking about when we can go back.

• redhod (10/5): Great place for a great price! - This apartment was great and such a wonderful value for the amount we paid (it ended up being $48 per night for 5 nights!). Only wish we had time to enjoy the pool! Very grateful for the laundry facilities and the soap provided. Instructions in English would have been extra awesome, since the options are quite different than those on American machines (I never could figure out some of the symbols -- hopefully everything still got clean!). My thanks to Marila and Maria for their help while we were there, and to Marila for calling the cab for us on the morning we left! That was a HUGE help! Great accommodations for a spectacular price. By far the best deal we had on our two-week trip in Spain and Portugal. Thanks so much! Our apartment had a bedroom with a large closet, large bathroom, and a third room that was a long narrow combination entry, kitchen, dining, and living room. Sofa had a trundle bed underneath. It would be very tight to pull the table out from the wall and put the leaves up to use it, but we never did this. Having the kitchen was wonderful for making a light breakfast or a sandwich or tea (would have been nice if there had been a kettle and some mugs and not just espresso cups!). Kitchen was very modern. Great shades for blocking out the light (it stays light so late there!). We did not have a car and the walk into town was super easy, and there was a grocery store maybe two to three blocks away. Loved the chickens running around the neighborhood and the flock of sheep we frequently passed on its way between home and grazing. I would definitely stay here again if I ever found myself in Baiona on another trip. The original booking indicated that we had to pay the deposit by wire transfer, which we did, but turned out confusing. The owners did not seem familiar with the huge fees for international wire transfer. Turns out this is apparently free and the method of choice for Spanish tourists, which is why it said that, but they would have taken a credit card for the deposit, which would have been easier and cheaper for both of us! • Mik_Pati (10/5): Great place, excellent customer service - We cannot talk highly enough of this place. We stayed for a week in May 2013 and it was fabulous. The place is just 5min walk from downtown Baiona and it has great amenities. We had the apartment with separate kitchen and living room and the stone and wood work was stunning and very authentic. The owner and general manager were truly kind, listening to any need that we had. They went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable. We had two other friends staying in other apartments and we all had the same experience. For lunch and dinner, they told us about this local place to eat, the Escondidino, right around the corner. The food was amazing and very cheap, much better than downtown Baiona. Highly recommended.
• GarMcQ (8/5): A good place - with some caveats - We stayed for 6 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment (2 adults and 2 kids). Overall we enjoyed our stay and I would have no problem recommending it - but with some caveats which are worth being aware of. Pros: - Frendly and helpful staff (in particular Marilo, who was very welcoming and cheerful) - Attractive accommodation with high quality fixtures and fittings - The whole place was spotlessly clean and very well maintained - It's a short walk to the main town with facilities, but sufficient distance that it feels slightly rural and sheltered - Baiona itself is a very nice town, with plenty to see and do Caveats: - Wi-Fi reception was haphazard and inconsistent, which was a frustration as we normally use an iPad for connectivity and keeping kids entertained - Finding the place in a car requires negotiation of a number of very narrow and confusing side streets - easy to get lost and I regularly had to reverse through narrow, windy lanes which were too small to let traffic past. If you have any worries about driving in these circumstances then (a) get good directions, and (b) plan to leave the car parked for the duration of your stay! - The apartments are quite close to a lot of farms and we found animal noise - in particular a noisy cockerel - awoke us quite early in the mornings - this is either charming or annoying, depending on whether you want a lie-in! - We were surprised that wine glasses were not provided - while the juice glasses were perfectly functional, with such beautiful wine to sample it was a shame not to have proper glasses to enjoy it in! - The pool is c4ft depth all around and has no shallow end, so if you have very small kids then you may find they are not able to use it without full supervision All in all though this is a good place to stay.
