Guest Reviews
- Iain (9/5): -
- irene (10/5): Pleasant stay - Very clean. Had everything we needed for our stay. Single beds were a bit narrow for an adult.
- Craig (10/5): -
- Lynne (7/5): - Quiet location. Close to the city centre.
- Pavel (8/5): -
- Maria Dolores (7/5): -
- Brook (10/5): - Great stay, Clean rooms, spacious for 3 people.
- Júlia (8/5): - - It's a separate house, which is always a plus.
- Parking is easy in front of the house.
- There's a little back garden
- It's in a very quiet neighborhood
- Picking the keys up was really smooth
- It's a couple of minutes to the city center by car - Somehow its atmosphere is horrible, so we were really motivated to go out after a long day of driving (which we didn't mind in the end :)
- There's no dining table
- The beds are EXTREMELY narrow, around 70 cm
- Kilian (7/5): - Not that cozy....
- john (7/5): Fine for a night. - As 3 bikers it suited us for 1 night. There is a garage but it's a bit rickety and insecure. Beds were comfy and it had everything we needed.
It's in a nice quiet location and only a 20 minute walk into Inverness centre. We didn't use the kitchen at all. The cooker etc does look a bit dated as does the furniture. However, you get what you pay for.
- Tanvi (10/5): -
- Akshay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natasa (8/5): Very good -
- Vanessa (8/5): Very good -
- Pranav (9/5): Cosy Home with nice owners! - The house was very cosy and owners were very responsive and also supported us to check out late by more than half an hour. The beds were quite small. Could do with a change to larger sizes.
- Ml&hb (9/5): Superb -
- Sravan (8/5): Very good -
- Joseph (7/5): Good -
- Mogare (10/5): Excellent Stay - Place was clean, all required things were there. Nothing.
- Pranav (2/5): Very poor - Was a very small property with small rooms located off the river side Location, size of property
- David (10/5): - A wonderful property in a residential neighborhood. Easy driving to a the area's destinations. It is a townhouse worthy of a week's stay. Well maintained and appointed.
- Paco (2/5): - Nobody came to clean after the previous guest. Bathroom, sheets, towels were used. We called, and he owner came to change towels and sheets (we were not sure they were the same) I don't recommend
- Kate (10/5): - Nice flat in suburban neighborhood
- Bryan (9/5): A brilliant base for Inverness and the region. - This property is the whole house and it suited us perfectly. As a base we were easily able to visit all the places of interest we had identified prior to visiting Inverness. Parking is on the street, but this is not a problem, there were so many free spaces we were always able to park very close to the house.
It is quite a walk into the city (20-25mins) , but on a beautiful sunny day, the walk down through the parks and across the rivers into the city are fabulous. if you are looking for a base to visit the area, this property will be perfect. I have no issues with the property or the hosts.
- Andrea (6/5): - Fine for a night, clean but needs some updating
- Lauri (10/5): Family stay - Quiet Family apartment close to Inverness center. Easy to access e.g. Loch Ness.
There was a misunderstanding in the booking and the owner went out of his way to sort things incredibly fast.
- Zhaomian (10/5): A cozy and clean place with all of the basics - Cozy, four separate beds (although they are smaller than twin), clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. Owners had remodeled it nicely. WiFi is pretty fast! Also free parking out front.
- William (8/5): Good location - Quiet street, great instructions and communication. House was as advertised and in a good location. It was close to local sights and a short drive to grocery store and restaurants. Would stay again.
- Kristina (8/5): - Inverness House was clean for our use. It is a very small property and there were some quirks (heaters, water heater for shower, washing machine) that we would have appreciated clearer communication about how to properly use them. This location is not walkable. It’s in a strictly residential area. Parking is on the street, but it was never an issue to find a nearby spot. Overall, a quiet, peaceful home that allowed us to wash clothes during our stay. It provided what we needed during this portion of our stay in Scotland.
- Ann (7/5): Good -
- Subash (10/5): Good stay - Good sized rooms. location was close to city. Preferred a king size bed in master room instead of twins
- Mardi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Irene (8/5): Perfect as we only had one night - Location fine as we had a car. Nothing we didn’t like
- Claire (8/5): Handy as a stop over on our journey. Thanks - Very clean and tidy. Well appointed everything we could need for 1 night. All the beds are sized at small single. 1 of my family is 6’4 and another is 6’. The beds are really for child.
- Josée (10/5): - Arrivée facile avec une clé dans une boîte. Nous avons apprécié la laveuse.
Très propre et bien équipé.
Je le recommande fortement!
- Danny (9/5): Superb -
- Sharon (7/5): Good - Good location, basic but functional
- Margaret (9/5): Great house in peaceful setting. - Great location, easy to find and handy for shops/road networks. Lovely quiet street with no noise or traffic. A proper double bed but other than that all the facilities were as you would expect.
- Shilpa (9/5): Superb - an extra toilet would be great
- Shanahan (9/5): Superb - Nice rooms with a warm homey decor, plenty of home utilities and appliances. Pretty easy check-in and check-out process. Location is a distance away from the city, and the busses to reach this place were unreliable. Recommended for travellors to use a car to get here.
- Ligia (7/5): Good - The house is very comfortable and we liked a lot. We missed a hairdryer and a a frying pan to make scrambled eggs in the morning.
- Amanda (6/5): a pleasant stay but needs some basic essentials - The property was comfortable, well located and good value for money. the front door was difficult to open, I tried calling the number left by the property owner on the window, as well as the number on the booking.com site, and nobody answered or called back. fortunately, we eventually managed to open the door but this would have been an issue if one of our group hadn’t been there. I am still waiting for my call to be returned. in addition, some basic essentials were missing: no dish towels, no baking tray for oven, no bin in the bathroom, no Matt in the bathroom to stand on when coming out the shower and we were only provided with 2 hand towels rather than one each, despite there being 4 of us. there were also only 3 dinner plates which is presumably because a plate has been broken by a previous guest but I would have thought these type of things should be checked after each guest leaves. it was obviously not ideal for our group with 4 of us staying in the property.
- WMA (10/5): - Easy process to check in and check out. Clean and spcious room
- Janet (10/5): A terrific house - A terrific location. Easy check-in and a great house to spend a few nights. A very comfortable home. Enjoyed our stay here very much.
- Richard (8/5): INverness apartment - House is in residential area a couple of miles from the center of Inverness. It was clean and comfortable with a kitchen living room bath and two bedrooms.. There was a private parking spot in the back of the building. The house was fully equipped and spacious. There was no one available to check in but owner provided all necessary information via email prior to arrival. Only problem was that all beds are twin beds.
