Hotellet låg med utsikt över en sjö och vi möttes av fantastisk service. Frukosten var underbar och höll en hög standard trots att det var lågsäsong. Allt fanns, men i mindre storlek! Supermysigt! Vi fick dessutom massor av bra tips från ägaren på vad man kunde se och besöka i området!

- Wilma Alsemgeest (7/5): Een redelijk goed hotel voor een nacht - De locatie is geweldig, met uitzicht op het meer. De kamer is ruim met goede bedden. En de douche is heerlijk. De kamer is erg gehorig, we hoorden de buurman/vrouw snurken. De handdoeken hadden een wat onprettig en onfris geurtje. Het water uit de douchecabine loopt door de hele badkamer, zodat je na het douchen met je voeten in het water staat af te drogen.

We came as guests and we left feeling like they were family and wanted to take them with us back to America. It truly was the most amazing visit during our month in Europe. There were so many ways that this is such an amazing place in Sweden to stay. First, our room with a balcony was overlooking the stunning lake. Relaxing on the deck was so restful and restorative. The chef, Cecilia, was an angel and made the best salads we have eaten with an incredible abundance of shrimp and wild garlic dressing made with local ingredients. Her dinners were carefully crafted and plated with such delicious taste. And, I especially loved her homemade pumpkin seed and sesame seed butter. (She should bottle this and sell it!) Jonas served up the most incredible abundant breakfasts. He was so kind and helpful showing us the property and assisting my mom through the grounds. And, he must have scheduled the sunshine for our entire visit:) But my favorite part was our special surprise sauna celebration. This is not to be missed with a floating sauna heated by a fireplace, right on the water so I could try jumping in! A true Swedish experience! Shestan and Phillipa were angles as well. They took care of our every need and made us feel welcome and at home. We will definitely go back to this gem and hopefully bring our family as well. We did grab a handful of brochures and have handed them out to others. Do not miss this lovely Hotell experience in the most gorgeous setting! After returning home, it shines as a highlight of our most amazing adventure! We miss you all at Haveruds! Everything was perfect!
- Sus (9/5): Gem at the Dalsland canal - Great location at the lake and close to the harbour to go on a Dalsland canal tour. Very friendly staff and good breakfast. Very quiet and clean. Gluten-free and lactose-free items breakfast items are available upon request. Not much to complain about. The beds were a little hard for us. Some of the furniture was a little run down like the armchairs. Coffee maker would be nice.

Die Lage vom Hotel ist einfach nur traumhaft und wir werden sicherlich im nächsten Jahr wieder kommen. Die Neuen Besitzer geben sich Mühe mit dem Service. Wobei über eine Stunde auf dem Nachtisch (Eisbecher) zu warten, finde ich etwas lange.

- PMHK59 (10/5): Beautiful place to unwind. Must try ! - This hotel was a highlight during our trip in Sweden. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather during our stay, which allowed us to fully appreciate the tranquility of this place. Be sure to book a room with a balcony so you can sit and enjoy the stunning view over the lake. The hotel has new owners, and their efforts to elevate the service are clearly noticeable. One highlight of our stay was the dinner at the hotel. The menu may be limited, but this is a positive aspect: the food is fresh and prepared with great care. Our experience was so delightful that we decided to extend our stay by one more night (and would have stayed longer if time had allowed). My only regret is not using the sauna by the lakeside.

Staff were helpful as I'm disabled. Unfortunately reception is down a set of stairs although I was offered an outside route alternative.

Frukosten var bra, tillräckligt utbud även där. Vistelsen på hotellet får högsta bud och hotellet rekommenderas varmt.
- Horst (8/5): - Vi bodde i en liten svit, balkong var fint och stort. Fantastisk utsikt. Men vi tänkte, priset var för högt. Frukost var tillräckligt men om man jämföra med andra hotell så kanske bara 3 stjärnor.
- Ingrid (6/5): Hotell med jättefint läge. Tyvärr inte ultimat en - Varit här förut och tyckte det var fantastiskt men då tyvärr en regnig dag. Hade då ett dubbelrum med uteplats som inte kunde nyttjas p g a regnet. Den här gången hade jag tyvärr råkat boka en natt efter vad som visade sig bli en av årets varmaste dagar och det lilla enkelrummet på översta våningen hade sol hela dagen som värmt upp rummet till en bastu. Hjälpte inte mycket att öppna fönstret utan det som var räddningen var att det fanns en fläkt som fick stå på hela tiden. Sedan fungerar inte lakan av blandat bomull och polyester lika bra som de i 100 % bomull när det är så varmt då de inte svalkar utan mer förstärker värmen. Blev uthärdligt först när kallfronten med regn kom på under natten. Vädret är ju inget hotellet kan råda över men det hade kanske varit bra att ha haft fönstret öppet och kanske även dörren så att rummet kunnat vädras ut lite. Grundutbud på TVn med väldigt bra bild. Wifi fungerade bra. Bra frukost.
