We loved our room - very spacious and had everything we could possibly need, and also sweet touches like sweets to welcome us when we arrived. We also loved the location - enough away from the hustle of center of town, but only a short walk to get there. Highly recommend! We hope to return! Nothing

Friendly Host a good and clean hotel with nice homemade jams and granola for a continental breakfast along with ham, cheese ,eggs ,fresh-fruit and toast .weekend homemade full English breakfast if required . All good nothing to dislike .

Spotlessly clean, the attention to detail, the little things that make so much difference, it all falls into place at the Carlton Court Hotel. A warm welcome, beautifully presented room and ensuite bathroom, we were so impressed by our host and her lovely hotel. The breakfasts deserve a special mention, with a wide choice of cooked options, including a fabulous full English. Recommended without hesitation. We loved it all.

Hosts were perfect and very welcoming couldn’t have - The property was in a lovely location within easy walk of Torquay town center and the beach, both of which were only 10 minutes away. The property was decorated very nicely throughout inside and out. Had very good signage and a lovely garden. Also has private free parking which is a big plus. The rooms were very spacious and the hosts were phenomenal and very welcoming. Had a lovely chat with both Lynn and Paul. Nothing it was fabulous throughout and couldn’t have done a better job or provided a better service. Fantastic
• Elouise (10/5): - The location was great because it’s not too far from the beach but it’s much quieter than the places on Belgrave Road. The bed is comfortable and the breakfast was great with nice quality sausage and bacon. Hosts are very welcoming.

• Lazarus (10/5): An enjoyable stay. - We had a restful stay at the Carlton Court Hotel. The breakfast was delicious and hot. Lynn was very welcoming espicially so because we arrived an hour early. Lynn ensured our stay was comfortable and even laid out a table in the dining room for us to have our take away dinner. She gave us a lot of useful information about the area and places to visit. Lynn's friendliness and hospitality made our stay pleasant and enjoyable. The hotel is conveniently situated just a 10 minute walk from the promenade. We were provided with information about restaurants and take aways as well as attractions that we could visit, before our arrival. Would recommend this hotel.

• David (10/5): Very comfortable accomodation in the heart of Torbay. - Recently renovated and decorated with a restrained but comfortable style. My room was of a very good size and offered more than adequate storage and a good opportunity to work, although my visit was primarily of a private nature. The hosts were very accommodating, and the breakfast was fresh and in part prepared with home-made ingredients. I really miss the good English breakfast ;-) The weather, but the hosts couldn´t really do anything against that ;-)

Spacious, nicely decorated and super clean room with water and flapjacks in the mini fridge. Huge comfy bed. Great breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. The owners advised us on places to visit and eat. They gave us a small goodie bag with water and sweets for our journey home - loved staying there. One of the best guest houses I've ever stayed in. The shower was a little tricky but once we figured it out it was not the most powerful but did the job.

• Jason (10/5): Exceptional - Stayed at this lovely B&B for 2 nights at the beginning of July as we were attending a family party nearby. We were greeted on our arrival by the very welcoming owners. The suite was tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. We walked into town on the first night which took about 10 mins, and ate at a burger restaurant called MEAT59 which had great food and amazing cocktails. Breakfast at Carlton Court was delicious - there was plenty to choose from, either from the menu (highly recommend the avocado on toast with poached egg) or cereals, fruit, orange juice etc. from self serve within the dining room. On the morning of our checkout the lovely hosts gave us a little goody bag with sweets and water for our journey home, which we thought was a really thoughtful touch. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Thanks for having us
• Olayiwola (10/5): Value for Money - Lynn and Paul were great host. Unless you are looking for swimming pol and Sauna, there is no need to go to hotel. Spotless rooms, beautiful garden, spacious car park and lovely breakfast. The facility is within a walking distance of seafront making it an ideal place if you want to enjoy the seafront but also avoid the busy seafront.

Breakfast just what was needed to start the day. The room was delightful, the bed so comfortable that I complained that it was so good, I nearly missed breakfast!! The hosts Lynn & Paul were very engaging and made us feel as if we were staying with good friends. Their local knowledge for things to do and where to eat was excellent. The breakfast room was bright and comfortable and the selection for continental was outstanding, but the full English was exceptional! nothing
• Adrian (10/5): Excellent holiday - will happily book again - We were greeted with a very warm welcome from Lynn & Paul. The room was excellent, including home-made biscuits everyday and proper milk in the fridge (not longlife!) - there was also bottled still and fizzy water. Breakfast was very good, with a large choice. Nothing was too much bother for them. The weather was not very good but we look forward to going back when the weather is better. Nothing

• Bob (9/5): A top quality stay for reasonable money - smart, clean, quiet, great food & hosts. just a very minor thing, the noisy extraction fan in the bathroom.
• Chris (10/5): - We were welcomed by both Paula and Lin. A great couple who have made the “big move” into Guest house owners. Rest assured they will be a great addition to the bustling Torquay accommodation space. Great room, spotless, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great too. A 10/10 for us.
• Matthew (10/5): incredible experience from beginning to end! - Owners are lovely and put lots of thought in to all the little details. The room was luxurious and well maintained.
• Lisa (10/5): our stay was lovely, we only stayed for the weekend but Lynn and Paul made us feel very welcome. They are a great couple - we loved everything about this property. The hotel was in a great location. The hotel itself was spotless, as was our beautifully decorated bedroom. The breakfast was delicious and the porridge was yummy. We had homemade cookies on arrival and a small leaving bag for our journey home which contained bottled water and sweets, which I thought was a lovely jester. There was nothing at all that we didn’t like about this hotel and we will definitely be returning. one of the best hotels that we have stayed in.
