- Cruikshanks (8/5): Good location, clean and generally well maintained hotel. - The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the city. It was selected due to previous experience/stay and close proximity to local friends. The breakfast selection was sufficient for me and enjoyable. Plus the daytime/evening menu offered a good choice of food. I would definitely use/consider using for future visits. Hot water in the room appeared to be hit/miss or available at certain times. Tried and early morning or late shower to find water cold. Spoke to reception regarding issue and the response of the duty staff, whilst happy to send someone to 'instruct me' on use did not impress me. I know how plumbing works!!

- Kadavala (5/5): Not value for money. - Only breakfast is descent other all the things not value for money and room is not look like 3 star hotel. Room was so bad in-terms of wall colour and bed as you can see on my attached-photos.

- Pradeep (4/5): Comfort not commensurate with the high price. - The location was excellent and very convenient to transportation, restaurants, shops. The staff were very responsive, helpful and polite. Room needs to be updated with better furniture and furnishings - bed covers, curtains, chairs, table, lamps etc. Portion of the room had a step which one had to be careful to notice. The bathroom was too basic and needs a serious upgrade, not proper hot water, no partitions to avoid the entire floor from becoming wet hence unsafe - providing rubber slippers is not the answer.

Found it to be one of the better hotels in Navrangpura area which is close to many tourist attractions. Some of the staff members were not very polite. The restaurant took a long time to fulfil orders.

- Kishor (3/5): Food poisoning, smokey dump. Stay away. - Nothing... This is the crappiest hotel I've stayed at. Food poisoning - that's what we got. Stay away from this dump. This hotel stinks. Probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. It's policy of allowing smokers to smoke in the room means practically every room stinks. It's impossible to stay in any room. But the worst experience of our lives was after breakfast Monday morning. Within 30min we started to feel unwell and shortly after, both of us were violently sick - projectile vomiting and diarria - some time both at the same time. This continued throughout the day into the small hours. We both had food poisoning. We were due to travel that day but had to book into another hotel to rest. My wife is still weak so we're resting. It's obvious, food had been prepared and kept under not hygienic condition. It's probably warmed up and served for breakfast. Judging by the no. of staff just loitering aimlessly round the dining room it's obvious that they don't have many customers hence any prepared food just sits in the pots. This is positively the worst hotel we've had the misfortune to book. We've been travelling India for a month or so, a dozen different hotels but this hotel is the crappiest. After our experience, there is no way I could write a positive review.

The room lock was not working and every time I had to bring someone from the reception to open the room with the master lock. this happened for 3 nights I stayed and they didn’t rectify the issue inspite of reminders and requests.

I booked it & reserved the room with my credit card & was shown on booking.com that I'll be allowed to pay at the hotel but the hotel charged my credit card a day before nt check in without my knowledge. Later they said they can't reverse the transaction. Also after reaching the hotel the staff said I had not made the payment which was not right.
