Bany amb dutxa feta malbé, cantonades arrejuntades amb excés de silicona, no hi havia lloc per aparcar prop dd la porta i baixaf les maletes . Sobretot àpats suspesos: el restaurant tanca diumenge nit i dilluns: tirats, ja us buscareu un lloc (tot era tancat!). Esmorzar escàs i amb menjar ressec (embotit ) o florit (formatge).
• ELENA (10/5): - He estado en este hotel varias veces, es magnífico, el personal muy agradable, un sitio tranquilo y muy bien ubicado. Las habitaciones perfectas y la comida de su restaurante, simplemente excelente. Si buscas tranquilidad y estar como en casa, es tu sitio ideal. Le pongo un 10!

Las toallas del baño habían sido desinfectadas con ozono y toda la habitación olía mucho a ozono. La mampara del baño no cerraba bien y se salía el agua de la ducha. Faltaban algunos detalles para ser un hotel 4 estrellas … pero nada grave.

The staff were great and were very helpful with our bicycles. The hotel is full of character as a restored traditional building. The shower door didn’t close properly! This wasn’t a problem in practice.

The menu selection offered too many repetitive items some of which looked like they came out of the fast food freezer and one of the dinner room staff was one of the grumpiest people we’ve ever met.

• Bob (2/5): Lovely building but a disappointing experience overall - The building and location were excellent as was our room The staff were generally grumpy and un helpful because no one spoke another language, neither English or French, which seems strange for a 4 star hotel, they were unable to provide a simple map of the town, even though the tourist information had pads of them available. The explanation on how to find the parking was completely unintelligible. The restaurant food was good, maybe a little expensive and again the same problem of communication with the staff.

• Anne (8/5): Great stay in a lovely historic village - The hotel offers a very tastefull 3-course menu of the day for around 15 euros which was a great added value, since the village did not offer that many restaurants. Staff was very helpful and considerate. Spa facilities where great. When booking a spa & wellness hotel, we personally expected to have more access to facilities including the price. The hotel offers a great spa & wellness options, however for additional charge and for a limited time range.

• Fares (10/5): Lovely Hotel with Old World Charm - Gorgeous property looks like a restored convent/ monastery … room 310 was very spacious bright and comfortable with high wooden beamed ceiling …restaurant food was simply fabulous try the local menu The water leaks from bathroom …they really should place a small barrier to stop water from flooding the bathroom

• Mcarthur (9/5): Great location in the centre of town. - Great location in the centre of town, staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast was great. Very nice conversion of and older building - paradore style. Restaurant was closed when we were there so can't comment on that but we had an amazing meal at Gastroadictos - 5 mins walk away. Parking is in nearby hotel garage so was a bit confusing when arriving - you need to pick up a door opener at reception. Bed in room could have been a bit bigger but room was lovely.

The shower in our bathroom was 2* at best, I have photos if required. Would we go again, no! But more importantly do I trust booking.com information, no!

Restaurant was very noisy with large group dining at same time, staff rushed off their feet couldn’t really attend to us properly. Should have warned us to book dinner later or elsewhere. Not enough to complain about though

A printed board with the days menu would have been useful.

• George (3/5): don’t stay on a Sunday night - large room we arrived on a Sunday. the restaurant was closed and they offered no room service on Sunday night . there were absolutely no restaurants open in the whole of the town . basically nowhere to eat . they could have warned us and we could have brought our own . the bathroom stunk and the shower was dreadful. Also it looked like the whole unit needed replacing . it was rusty etc . staff were fine but not at all helpful
