Stanza nuova, carinissima, pulitissima, con aria condizionata e doccia enorme, oltre alla cordialità straordinaria del personale. Il soggiorno è stato piacevolissimo. Inoltre il Bnb ha anche un bar dove si fa una colazione (inclusa!) davvero deliziosa, le brioche sono incredibili e sono tutti molto gentili. Super!

Struttura accogliente, moderna e confortevole completa di tutto. Mario (il proprietario) disponibile e comprensivo, ha accolto le mie "particolari" richieste senza esitazione e le ragazze dello staff, sempre sorridenti, mi hanno fatto sentire come una di famiglia. La stanza era piccolina ma pulita, luminosa e accogliente dotata di un bagno privato con una bella doccia, ampia e moderna. I proprietari si sono dimostrati estremamente disponibili e cortesi. Molto apprezzata anche la colazione Consiglio vivamente questa struttura a chi cerca un ambiente tranquillo, pulito e con un’ottima accoglienza. Il posizionamento del condizionatore proprio fronte letto.

The pistachio croissant and cappuccino at breakfast were very good. And we were given a lovely departing gift at checkout. The location is excellent - a 5 minute walk from the bus stop coming from Catania Airport and the same stop going to Palermo. The ony thing lacking was slippers - they would have been nice to have for the tile floors.

Really nice and helpful hosts, and secure bike storage right outside the room. They recommended an excellent Pizzeria close by as well that I’d not have found otherwise. Nothing!

Our passports were held overnight which was disconcerting, but normal I hear. My only complaint is the motion sensor light in the stairwell shut off mid staircase leaving us to use our cell phone lights to get up to our room.

The owner was super kind and friendly and even though my mum (and I)don’t speak Italian😊he accommodated all her requests and made her stay nice and comfortable. The room was very clean and the sharing kitchen is comfortable and provides all necessary equipment for in-house catering. Below the premises , they run their own cafe/bar where they serve breakfast. Location is excellent , as you are in the heart of the town. I highly recommend the venue 🇮🇹👌🏼

- Kg (10/5): A nice stay in Piazza Armerina - We chose b&b Diana based on reviews and location near bus stop since we were traveling by bus. Staff was waiting upon arrival and were very helpful. Bottled water in our room, juices and light snacks in common area kitchen. Room was at front of property overlooking a busy street but windows shut out most of street noise. Typical Sicilian breakfast in cafe on ground level. Owner and employees made us feel right at home. Limited English speaking staff, but not a big deal. A translation app solved any language barriers. Bathroom a little small but typical for most hotels in the region. This was not a big deal just an observation. We would not hesitate to stay there again if we were in the area.

- 291genej (10/5): Nice B&B within walking of Piazza Armerina Old City. - My wife and I stayed 1 night with a reservation. We drove our rental car 95 km from CTA Airport. Arriving in Piazza Armerina, our Google Maps focused on the Esso Station across the street. Luckily a vacant blue parking spot opened and I was able to park. My wife went in the Diana Cafe and returned with the Italian speaking owner who OKed the spot and presented a hotel sticker for the dashboard. In the cafe, he welcomed us with cappuccinos, went over a city map, took our passports, retrieved a key and we followed him around the corner and upstairs to a new completely outfitted IKEA style kitchen with bar and 2 tables. He showed us the frig stocked with yogurt and juice boxes, tea and coffee in the cabinet and pointed to the fruit bowl on the counter. From here we were given a choice of 4 rooms. We chose the quiet courtyard view #4, newly tiled, contemporary style with comfortable queen, 2 nightstands, wardrobe, full couch, small desk with chair, wall TV(no English), and a fully outfitted bathroom with nice glass shower. Insulated French doors opened to a small balcony. We had secure internet, good hot water and heat, and a 6AM breakfast presented by 2 smiling baristas; oj, coffee, cornetto and almond pastry in their cafe, followed with coffee and yoghurt in our shared kitchen. We walked 300 meters west to the Despar Supermarket and later 1.2 km southwest up to the Duomo. We chose this spotless accommodation for its proximity to Villa Romana, a good value choice for us.

Breakfast was served in the owner's gelateria around the corner, and consisted of fresh-squeezed OJ, a croissant, and another pastry. I would have appreciated more options and healthier options at breakfast. Nonetheless, the croissant filled with pistachio cream was delightful. When I mentioned to the proprietor of the B&B that I had a stomach ache, she told me I was welcome to go upstairs to the little kitchenette and make myself a cup of tea. I was very grateful for her kindness.

I chose it because if its excellent reviews and proximity to the bus stop but I'd stay there again rather than the old town even if I had a car next time. I had the single room and it was excellent value for money - new, modern, bright and very comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Amazing bathroom! The best part is the hospitality of the Diana family, especially Sig. Mario, who is the most generous and helpful host. Every time I walked into the bar he offered me a coffee and he organised a visit to Morgantina at an excellent price. Breakfast was juice, coffee and croissant, with seconds offered my first morning. A wonderful B&B, all the more if you consider the price. Highly recommended. Tip for bus travellers: tickets can be bought from the service station at Piazza Marescalchi on the day of travel.
- casseroleking (6/5): Mario was a helpful host - The location is on the outskirts of the old city. We were very fortunate to get a parking space right outside the B&B, not sure about parking in general. It is on a fairly busy street, so I assume you could park on the streets? Being low season, the place was quiet. From the outside it doesn't resemble a B&B, more like a building with a cafe underneath it. Entrance to the B&B is via the side gate. Once inside on the second floor, you walk into a darkish but very clean communal kitchenette. There are 5 rooms? and had sensor lights for the corridor and kitchenette. Our room faced the front road which as you can guess was quite noisey on Monday morning with traffic. It is also situated across from a petrol station. This B&B felt more like a hostel than a traditional B&B. There is no interaction with the host or hostess unless there is a problem. We had to contact them a few times so luckily we had a local SIM card to call them. The hostess - Diana I assume, spoke very little English and her husband, Mario, although very kind and welcoming, spoke zero English. Yes the bathroom was very modern and room was comfortable. The walk down into the old town was about 10-15 minutes. We were there only for 1 night and on a Sunday as well, so not a lot was happening. Mario did recommend a pizza/restaurant (Ristorante Da Nino) about 200 metres away. It had a very warm welcome with large pizza oven and large cuts of meet on display-seemed a great place to eat. We had pizza take aways as we didn't fancy a walk back down into the old town again. Breakfast was served down at their cafe - which they also owned. So instead of a B&B in the traditional sense, you become merely another customer in their busy and small cafe-although breakfast was free/included. You could choose what you wanted from the display counter but it lacked the friendly morning B&B buffet atmosphere one would expect from other B&Bs. I guess there was no interaction with the owners at all. It had a hostel/motel feel to it. I am not discrediting Diana B&B but merely letting you all know that if you are after a traditional stay then this is probably not quite it. On reflection, although the old town was very charming in its own right, I wouldn't bother staying over night in Piazza Armerina next time and just go straight to Villa Romana. Again, we were there on a Sunday and on a low season so unfortunately P. Armerina nor the B&B rated highly on our list of stays in Sicily. But then hopefully with summer coming on, things should look brighter...
- 25ElaineW (10/5): Great hospitality - The room was clean & tidy, superb shower with sufficient hot water and good water pressure, great host and offered us coffee and some snacks when we arrived. Breakfast was served downstairs inside the cafe operated by the host. Street meters just outside for parking and there's another free parking 300m away but we didn't use it. Supermarket just around the corner (~3 min walk). However, it's a bit noisy in the morning when cars and people passed by since it's on 1st floor, but it's quiet at night. All in all, it's a great place to stay if you stop by Piazza Armerina.
- likecomfy (10/5): Clean, modern, fun - This place was a beautiful, clean and modern restful refuge. We were stupid and took a detour off the Autostrada on a road that seemed like it would be shorter. Big mistake. There was a downpour, and the road was washed out in several places, water and mud everywhere. I was afraid we would actually go over a cliff and die. When we arrived Mario and his wife were so welcoming and lively. They immediately made me relax. They are very warm and generous people. THey took us to the cafe and gave us gelato and wine, also they have a kitchenette among the rooms that is well stocked with water, yogurt, fruit and snacks. The rooms are extremely nice, clean, modern, well equipped. The bed was comfortable. THe bathroom was amazing, with lovely modern fixtures. We enjoyed our stay here very much. Breakfast was delicious in the cafe, lots of choices of pastry and coffee, tea and juice.
- andreaadele (10/5): Modern with Full Services - Our stay here was perfect. Located in the heart of Piazza Armerina, B&B Diana met all our needs. Our bedroom and bath were very comfortable with everything we needed close at hand. There is also a communal kitchen stocked with snacks and drinks. Everything is super clean and well tended. Breakfast is served downstairs in the adjoining cafe and gelateria. Service was friendly and efficient. Mario Diana, owner, was extremely helpful to us. He recommended places to eat and even walked with us to a special restaurant one evening (separate reviews). Our stay here was perfect!!!
- GeorginaJ760 (10/5): Lovely Place - Lovely little place close to the square where the buses to and from Catania turn round. Spotlessly clean en-suite rooms, bright, comfortable and also access to a nice room where you can make tea and coffee and eat snacks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The B&B is managed by the cafe at the front of the building. This is where you get breakfast, which appeared to be as much as you can eat rather than just one cornetto and a cup of coffee as it often seems to be in Italy. After check in, when we went to pick up our passports, we were offered a coffee in the cafe which we did not want but later on we went to get an ice cream, fully expecting to pay, and were given that at no cost instead. What a nice gesture! If you are a smoker it might be worth asking for room 5. This room had sole access to a small courtyard which was equipped with chairs and ashtrays. We are non-smokers and as nobody else could access this area we were not troubled by smoke drifting through our window and if you do smoke it could be a nice facility.
- luki79 (10/5): Grazie Mario! - This is the perfect place to stay when traveling in this area of Sicily. The place is central, extremely clean and with large rooms. Mario, the manager, is very friendly and helpful and offers you breakfast at his lovely bakery in the same building. Highly recommended.
- rlrobles5 (10/5): great all around - Arrived after a harrowing car trip though central Sicily in the driving rain. Mario welcomed us and made sure we had a snack and a drink. The rooms are modern and clean. The bathrooms very clean and modern. Well provided. We had access to a snack room with water and a stove/oven to heat up things.
- KTGP (10/5): FANTASTIC CLEAN ACCOMMODATION WITH WONDERFUL STAFF - This was ideally located for our needs as we arrived by bus from Catania and the accommodation is only a 230 metre walk from the bus stop, it is also the same distance to catch the shuttle to Villa Romana del Casale. The accommodation and the café downstairs are owned by the same people. Mario greeted us, showed us to our room and then took us downstairs to the café for complimentary coffee, while we sorted out the paperwork. We had the double room which was very spacious at 29m², the room was very clean and modern, with a fantastic shower, the rooms share the kitchen facilities. Mario allowed us to store our luggage while we went out to Villa Romana del Casale the next day. Most of our conversation was with Mario who was very helpful and friendly, as was the young girl working in the café. This was fantastic clean accommodation at a great price, with wonderful staff.
- Whinbrook (10/5): B&B Diana - Stayed here overnight whilst visiting the Roman Villa Casale, which is a must see if visiting Sicily - quite extraordinary. Simple, very good value accommodation a short walk from the town centre. Room was small but clean, had all you might need for an overnight stay and with efficient wi-fi. We had a simple but satisfying breakfast served in our room on a small enclosed terrace. Complimentary non alcoholic mini bar was a nice touch as was the extensively supplied kitchen for guest use. Bathroom was of particular note, very stylish and would not be out of place in a 5 star modern hotel. Whilst staying here, we had a serious travel emergency (unfortunately of our own creation) which would have put the rest of our trip in jeopardy had it not been for the great kindness, patience and assistance shown to us by the owner, his wife and above all, staff member Diana (who was the only one who could speak English). This they all did with good grace at the same time as running a very busy and popular cafe attached to the B&B accommodation. Thank you all so very much!
- windsorlass (10/5): Comfortable, well equipped, friendly helpful owners and close to Roman Villa - Having just stayed in a rather dull, uncomfortable apartment in Palermo, it was good to have bright clean, well equipped rooms and comfortable beds. The town itself is rather ordinary, overshadowed by the Villa Roman nearby, which is why we chose to stay here. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful and I would have not hesitation in recommending the B&B

We had a room on the first floor which was our request. Shower was nice and big. Internet great! We felt very safe there! Parking was right in front of the B & B. Fridge was full of free things. TV was great.
- MariaChapini (10/5): Just loved it! - First of all, we were very glad we decided to stay one night at Piazza Armerina and not just drive by to see the villa romana. It is a lovely city, one with a lot of character and where you can see and feel the sicilian life as it is. B&B Diana was great! The place is huge, very clean and well equipped. The bedroom was really good, lots of space, great wi-fi, great shower and bathroom overall, plus, all the rooms share a kitchen. The owners / staff were sooo nice and polite. They run a coffee shop downstairs from the B&B, which means they are always available and which also means they serve amazing coffee! They suggested a great restaurant to eat also (Pepe!). Would definitely stay there again.
- xboxtina (10/5): Very nice, modern, friendly... - highlights: Very nice and new bathroom, new and modern equipment, very kind staff, There is a fridge full of free stuff for you (just check the due dates on some of those), even though they don't speak english, you get lots of advise that you will understand 😃. They even gave us free package of Italian coffee for farewell!!! lowlights: room smelled like cigarettes.
- T-SGlobetrotters (8/5): Very pleased with Diana - Diana is in a good location convenient for all the main sites. We were met by the owner on arrival. Parking is offered for free in the petrol station across the road so there is no need to pay a parking tariff on the road. There are four rooms available all of which have access to a central kitchen which is equipped with a coffee machine, kettle, fridge/freezer. The fridge has a good selection of juices, water, yoghurt, cheese and ham enabling a self catering breakfast to be prepared although the owners also offer simple breakfast in their coffee shop on the ground floor each morning. The rooms themselves are well equipped with good wifi, TV and comfortable bed. The bathroom has a very good shower and wonderful large fluffy towels which were most luxurious. We opted for the breakfast in the coffee shop the following morning which was typically Sicilian comprising orange juice, croissant, coffee and cake. Overall a comfortable stay and good value. Would be happy to stay here again.
