- Lanay (7/5): - We didn’t try the other restaurants on the resort so I can’t comment on that but the buffet was pretty good. If you’re going to relax then this resort is for you; If you like to party then walk next door to the other Rui which you have free access too. The bed was also comfortable. Drinks tasted like straight juice so I had to always ask for a shot on the side. There’s a sign to put on the bed when you want your sheets changed which we put down twice but noticed they didn’t get changed, they only made the bed up. We noticed a weird smell in our room after they would clean it but it eventually went away.

I do feel the food could have been more varied- the buffet felt a bit repetitive at times. The bathtub in the middle of the room felt a bit awkward too, if I was traveling with my children I wouldn't feel comfortable having a bath where everyone can see me!

Our second night some one got kicked off the property after screaming outside our door for over an hour at 11pm because they were drunk out their mind. Also didn’t love how maids kept trying to enter our room at 9pm. Seemed off to me. Didn’t get to experience all the restaurants due to long waits which was a bummer.

The bed wasn’t super comfortable and it was spring break for college kids so it was pretty loud at times when we were trying to sleep. Not the resorts fault, just annoying.

- Saman (9/5): Overall, this is a highly recommended, clean and relaxing resort with great ambiance and location — but I would suggest - The property feels newer than the two neighboring resorts, which gives it a fresh and well-maintained atmosphere. It is very clean, with easy and convenient access to the beach. The restaurants, food, and drinks were all enjoyable, and I especially appreciated the calm, adults-only ambiance without kids around — it made the overall experience peaceful and relaxing. Although we booked an Elite room with an ocean view, we did not receive the level of Elite service we expected. Basic requests such as extra towels or promised complimentary items were not handled in a timely or responsive manner. As a result, while the room itself was nice, we did not truly experience or benefit from the Elite services that were advertised.

- Glorimer (2/5): - The food was good. The rooms were very nice and clean. Throughout our stay there was an earthquake and a hurricane. The hurricane affected our time the entirety of our stay. On the last day of our trip the hurricane was expected to be over so we asked to extend our trip for 2 days since a lot of the amenities of the resort was closed due to weather conditions and we were not able to enjoy anything including pools, beach, excursions, etc because everything had been closed and they wanted to charge us an outrageous amount of money to add days considering all of the circumstances we faced while being there and they felt no type of empathy for the fact that a lot of money was spent to go on the trip and once we were there, were not able to enjoy the resort or Cabo in general due to the weather conditions.

She made some ugly face in the morning. When I ordered two drinks. I did not feel comfortable. I did report that to the manager in the Front Josh. Also, I had order the front view and I was not able to get it. They wanted to charge me $523. I decided not to the first time when I came here two years ago, everything went smooth, beautiful, and the reason I came back. …..Also, a water leaking where you wash your hands by the shower. I report that to the manager Josh also.

Very friendly and helpful staff Rooms of a good size and with a modern finish Restaurants generally reasonable Price reasonable Clean and spacious Hotel precinct safety poor with a pack of wild dogs attacking my daughter on the road in close proximity to the hotel during a morning run. Other than the guard at the gate who assisted in getting the wild dogs way from my daughter, hotel staff were seemingly disinterested when the incident was reported and there was no follow up No personalization – never referred to by name on the entire stay Cattle queue check-in with robotic processes and little attempt to make guests feel welcome or valued. Not shown to room or assisted with bags Questionable maintenance: * Toilet dripping each night – requested repair did not correct problem * Hair dryer intake mesh broken exposing fingers and hair to the fan blades. Was repaired promptly when reported but should not have presented a room with unsafe appliances * On 3 or our 7 days we had a broken sun bed Specialty restaurants good food standard but main buffet restaurant variable. Strict practice of removal of cutlery after each course – often left eating fruit with a tea spoon!

- Joel (6/5): A nice week with disappointments - The staff that was caring for us directly were great. The resort itself was very clean. The nightly entertainment was nice. The pool area was good and comfortable.The views and location were convenient to catch a cab and quickly arrive at downtown Cabo. Get out of the resort and do some activities, we did whale watching which was great and a cooking class where we learned to make mole. The management was not good at all, they didnt handle issues of any kind. The food in the buffet was fine but honestly the overall restaurant food experience was average. The temperature in the room is locked and the room was hot most of the time, this is ridiculous. There are no snacks provided in the room, only drinks and alcohol. We had an issue with something, and the manager of the hotel was of no help nor empathy even though it was their issue. I doubt we ever use the Riu locations there again. Also the roads and walking outside of the resort in any way, just dont. Get a cab to where you are going or rent a car.

- randy (10/5): me and my wife were there for 10 days and overall had a very good experience with the hotel the food the staff and the a - The property was very clean and the rooms were good The pool area was well situated with ample seating space and the layout of the hotel was really good and easy to navigate The property is a little further out which means you have to pay high taxi cost to get into town you can take an Uber back but you cannot take an Uber from the hotel entrance

No es un hotel para relajarse por la cantidad de ruido - Buen tamaño de habitaciones, todo en muy buen estado Mucho ruido, mucha música muy alta y diferentes al mismo tiempo lo que hacía imposible relajarse. En. Ada piscina un parlante enorme con una música diferente que al final se mezclaba entre ella. La gente en la playa dentro de la zona del hotel (las asoleadoras) vendiendo marihuanna se volvía incómodo

- Serina (10/5): - Our room was so awesome! Very inviting and comfortable. The property and staff are wonderful. Great place to stay. Hubby and I enjoyed ourselves. I have to admit. The restaurant that had Mexican cuisine was disappointing. The food was not so great. Maybe because we're from San Diego, so our expectations are higher because we get the bomb Mexican food here....but that was the only meal we did not enjoy. All the other restaurants were amazing.

An improvement in that would make this hotel a bit better. Shows could use some improvement as well, but good overall. A clean hotel always wins with me :)
- Tracie (9/5): Fabulous stay at RIU Baja CA!! - Loved the location , the staff especially Daniel and Fernando at the bars, and Reyna at the promenade, great service, great food and drinks , rooms were great , bed was super comfortable, pools and entertainment were also great . Loved being able to visit the sister properties next door . Will stay here again.

- Mary (10/5): We had a great time! - The food, drinks, and entertainment. Didn’t try the restaurants but would have liked to try the steakhouse. I attempted to but they had no availability. I felt they could only service a small amount of people.
