- Dawn (9/5): A really nice stay in Solva in this pretty little hotel. - great vegatarian breakfast and lovely dinner choices. a quiet nights stay and no disturbance from other rooms. Comfortable clean room and good bathroom, nice shower and hand gels. nothing I can say as I was very happy with the food at dinner and breakfast. Bottled water and a few more biscuits in the room might be a nice touch.
- Stephen (9/5): -

- Ian (10/5): - I recently stayed at The Cambrian Inn for two nights while visiting family and attending a funeral. I had a lovely stay; the room was spacious and clean, the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. They truly made me feel very welcome during my visit. I’d highly recommend The Cambrian Inn to anyone looking for a great place to stay.
- Allison (8/5): Lovely inn, excellent location. - A lovely warm welcome, a cosy room and friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Nothing comes to mind. We had a great time.
- Alun (9/5): - Excellent value, excellent breakfast, nice location with free parking( which is rare in lots of seaside locations) so long as its not too busy
- Tracey (8/5): Clean, comfortable, enjoyable stay - Booked the room for my elderly parents. They said the room was really clean and comfortable and staff very hospitable. Food good. Accessibility. I checked on accessibility before booking and told there was a 14 step staircase which was fine. As it’s out of season once dining room closed the pub shut up / locked up. When they came back at 9pm they had to use outside deep stone steps up to room which were slippery in the rain. I don’t think they would have complained at the time but this should be made clear on booking.
- Ann (8/5): - Central position in Solva. The food was extremely good . The staff were very helpful. The room was very pleasant . The twin beds were uncomfortable . The mattresses were too soft. I felt that l was swimming in Treacle when trying to turn over in bed. Soft mattresses. (See above)
- Dean (9/5): Excellent stay many thanks lovely hotel and location. -
- Mr S (9/5): A short overnight stay helping our daughter move, didn’t get to see much of the property or location but will definitely - Comfortable, clean, lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Nothing
- Katrine (9/5): I would recommend staying here , it’s comfortable and well placed for walking the costal path. - The hotel is well placed in the village with easy parking outside. The bed was comfortable and staff were very welcoming. Food was very good too. A little bit tired in the hallway upstairs but that didn’t detract from the visit.
- Paul (10/5): -
- Simon (10/5): Excellent stay at a superb hotel - Excellent hotel, great evening meal and superb breakfast. Great location for our work. Rooms are really well decorated with quality furniture and super comfy bed. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Great Wi-Fi connectivity in both rooms and the bar. Parking can be a little tight especially when the bar is full.

- Debbie (9/5): - The staff were very courteous, and the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend this place and also the dinner was delicious.
- Brian (10/5): - Welcoming clean comfortable full of character
- Dave (10/5): -
- Rachel (7/5): Local pub in great location for visiting local beaches, best to visit in warm weather. - Location is great for visiting superb local beaches and the estuary is very pretty for local walks. Food was excellent, great range on offer. Bedroom was clean and services in the room were really good. Owner was very kind to come and say hello and give us some local recommendations. Only disappointment was that we were hoping for a cosy lounge and open fires, the pub was VERY cold on the first night and we had to ask repeatedly if the radiators could be turned on. Better the second night but still not a cosy environment to sit before and after dinner, we were staying in November.
- Amanda (6/5): Pleasant stay though disappointed with food quality, particularly the lack of fresh food. - Character of building, cosy bar, nice decor, comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water in bathroom. Bedside carafe of water. Good choice of teas ( camomile and mint especially).
Openable windows in both bedroom and bathroom so good ventilation. Nice room with comfortable bed. Bathroom good but electric towel rail not working. Food quality disappointing, would prefer a more limited menu using basic fresh ingredients.
- Jeremy (9/5): -
- Lesley (10/5): Great Place - We love The Cambrian Inn, the food is always good. This time, we stayed the night in one of their lovely rooms and the bed was super comfy. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the morning. We would definitely stay again.
- Mary (10/5): -
- Kelly (10/5): Very Comfortable Inn in Solva - Very pleasant place to stay with extremely welcoming staff and excellent food. Not a thing!
- Jeremy (8/5): Very good - Convenient for St David’s concert and walking coast ! Nothing
- Sian (10/5): - Excellent location. Pub closed early.
- Hannah (8/5): -
- Jo (9/5): A great location for a short stay in this part of Wales. - Great location in a wonderful village. Although this is a room over an inn, it was very quiet and that was much appreciated. The breakfast was perfect, I don’t think I’ve had a better breakfast in a similar sized place to stay. Nothing really. It’s better than many similar places, especially after the difficult times that so many small hotels have had with rising costs.
- Stuart (9/5): Very enjoyable stay - Both excellent
- Henry (10/5): Pub is an example - Staying at a Pub with Rooms at its best with delicious food offerings.
- Christine (9/5): Loved the location and the hosts - Great dinner & breakfast. Location fab as was Robyn & Hannah Rattled window when windy
- Roger (8/5): Good food, okay bed - We had dinner and breakfast here and both were very good. We took a short hike before dinner to the top of a cliff which took less than an hour.
Parking was right out front and check in was good. Plenty of room but not a lot of room and people kept banging their heads - not unexpected in an old building. The bed was t particularly comfortable but the room was clean and the bathroom was good.
- Joerg (9/5): Excellent hotel for a quick break - Excellent hotel in a lovely secluded location. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely, big enough for two travellers on motorbikes. The food served in the restaurant has been of excellent taste and quality..
- Dave (9/5): -
- Angela (10/5): Perfect - We were so comfortable and happy in this lovely place. Nothing
- Tracy (8/5): Friendly helpful staff. Good location. Good food and beer. Lovely clean and comfortable room - Great location with private parking
Clean comfortable room
- Jane (10/5): -
- Rosemary (10/5): I will be back asap - Comfortable room with and good breakfast with a great cymbal menu Nothing
- Simone (8/5): Ein schöner Aufenthalt - Sehr freundliches Personal, das Essen hat Liebe zum Detail, sehr gutes Frühstück
- Biaggi (10/5): Beautiful small inn in an ideal location to explore the area. - Beautiful small inn in Solva. The rooms wear wonderful and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the two course breakfast. We will be back!
- Karen (9/5): A great stay in a lovely hotel. - Location, staff and breakfast. Nice room. Shower wasn’t brilliant and nor was WiFi
- HYO JAE (9/5): -
- Maria (10/5): - Beautiful rooms, very comfortable beds. Breakfast was outstanding. Very friendly staff!
- Justus Ferdinand (10/5): - Die Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet und das Frühstück war sehr lecker.
- Grove (9/5): -
- J A (10/5): Nice stay - We had a very nice 3 night stay when visiting Pembrokeshire. In addition to the comfortable room we enjoyed 2 tasty dinners in the restaurant. The only small criticism is we were in room 5 and there was a very steep set of steps up to the room and one night we were woken up by a very noisy couple in the room below us. I’d stay again but request a different room
- Rhys (7/5): -
- Kate (10/5): Fantastic inn, a luxury home from home - Brilliant place, had a fab stay, wished we could have stayed longer. Amazing breakfast, clean and comfy room. Would highly recommend and want to go back again soon. Nothing needs improving.
- Andrew (8/5): A fine overnight stop, just a few minutes by foot from the sea and by car from St David's. - A great location in the heart of "downtown" Solva, accompanied by craft shops and the river. The sea is <10 mins walk from the inn. Breakfast was excellent and dinner was also very good, with locally caught fish & lobster the highlights. Staff and the manager in particular were very helpful. The rooms are OK and clean but it definitely feels like a pub / restaurant with rooms rather than a hotel. The common areas are a little jaded.
I gather that it is the owner that has access to the Booking.com site but our request for a restaurant booking remained unanswered. That was resolved in a phone call.
- Olivier (8/5): - Le parking est difficile
- Alex (10/5): -
- Stephen (10/5): Birthday weekend - The location was excellent, the accommodation was first class and the surrounding area was of outstanding natural beauty. Nil
- Sarah (9/5): -
- angela (10/5): -
- Sharon (10/5): Lovely stay in an airy fresh room, with comfortable bed - and it was very quiet. - Breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented. Lovely staff Nothing
- Christina (10/5): - Property was very nice. Room was comfortable. Lovely breakfast.
- Debbie (9/5): Great accommodation for a one night stay in Solva - Ideal location in Solva main street, parking on site, friendly and helpful welcome. The bed was comfortable, with lovely white bedding. The shower was good, and breakfast was really tasty. Only very small suggestions; a fan would have been a nice addition, and the towels were too small.
- Noel (10/5): -
- Gapper (8/5): Relaxing and stress free. - Good food good staff. Breakfast was a bit slow but overall very pleased.
- Shaun (10/5): - Loved the gorgeous room and big bath ,breakfast was lovely and staff so friendly ,will definitely return ,loved it

- Jill (10/5): It’s been a very enjoyable experience staying here at the Inn, would highly recommend.. - Great place to stay & convenient.. N/A
- Grace (9/5): - Lovely room abd breakfast
- RAMERA (10/5): ONLY ONE NIGHT - Great location, everything was perfect: staff, cleaning, restaurant where we had a good dinner. Breakfast has been well served at the table (no self service buffet) and it was delicious with fresh, quality products.
Useful having the parking in front of the Hotel Nothing
- Allison (10/5): - A lovely couple of days in a beautiful village. The staff were welcoming, the room pleasant and the food excellent. Would recommend.
- Roger (6/5): Used to be much better - Great location Difficulty in getting in around 10.30 evening due to staff locking up early
- maurice (8/5): -
- Michael (9/5): - Good location for getting around the area. Lovely staff. Excellent food. Comfy bed Nothing
- Peter (10/5): -
- Donna (10/5): Just wonderful - This stay was perfect. Solva is beautiful and The Cambrian Inn was the perfect place to stay. The room was great in every aspect. The breakfast menu was small but more than adequate, it was perfectly presented and delicious. Evening meals were also fabulous. All the staff were amazing. This really is a lovely place and we will definitely go back. Nothing
