• Raquel (1/5): - Dueños desagradables y mentirosos. Reservamos 4 habitaciones para un evento que organizamos en el pueblo y que desafortunadamente hemos tenido que cancelar por motivos hospitalarios con 6 días de antelación. Cuando le llamo hace unos meses para preguntar por cosas de la casa, me dice que tenía pendiente llamarme porque no tenía disponibles las 4 habitaciones sino 3 porque ellos viven en una de ellas y que para solucionarme el problema me ponía una cama supletoria en una habitación. Cuando le llamo para cancelar y le explico el motivo me dice que hable con Booking para ver si me devuelve el dinero que ella no tiene ningún problema el devolverme lo. Desde Booking abren varias incidencias y una de ellas por overbooking ya que finalmente me han cobrado las 4 habitaciones en vez de 3. La segunda vez que la llamo me insiste en que va a buscar alguna solución. La 3 vez que la llamo porque la soluciones no llegan se pone borde conmigo y me dice que ella no me va a devolver el dinero ni siquiera de la habitación que me han cobrado de más, que al final si que la tenía disponible, que casualidad que justo encontraron vivienda esa semana. Muy borde se pone el marido también reconociendo me que me llevan engañando 3 semanas y que no me van a devolver el dinero El evento se volverá a hacer cuando se pueda evidentemente, pero desde luego prefiero enviar a la gente fuera del pueblo antes que volverles a reservar.

En cuanto a la cama, sería conveniente considerar la posibilidad de cambiar el colchón, ya que al ser de muelles, no permite un descanso óptimo; si una persona se mueve, la otra se despierta.

Veo necesario un pequeño servicio de café / té / para no tener que salir del alojamiento en ayunas. Si es temprano en los alrededores no hay nada abierto. En la zona del saloncito de arriba que hace de hall para las 3!habitaciones sería perfecto.

• Irma (10/5): Espectacular, un primor absoluto, un lugar inolvidable. - Toda una agradable sorpresa. Las hermanas Mendoza han conseguido una atmósfera de palacete a lo Visconti, dónde todo es primoroso. Mención especial a cuadros, telas, alfombras, patio interior y jardin. La casa (más que casa, palacio) está en el mismo centro del pueblo, en la calle de atras de la estación de autobuses, a 3 minutos andando de la plaza central. Se puede llegar con el coche hasta la puerta, y es fácil aparcar. El checking fue rápido, Teresa fue muy amable y nos explicó dónde comer y beber. El olor del sitio, espectacular, muy bien perfumado. La habitación era grande, con espacio para moverse con comodidad, tenía suficientes enchufes. Tenia un vestidor increible. La habitación estaba muy limpia. Tuvimos mucho confort, y calefacción. El baño era espacioso y estaba decorado a capricho. Descansamos muy bien, nosotros no oimos ningún ruido. La relacion calidad precio es brutal, dormir alli debería costar más. Que apuntar algo, faltaban zonas vacias de adornos, de tan arreglado y tan puesto que estaba todo. Para salirse completamente le faltaba una mini nevera y el secador de pelo.

• Antonio J (10/5): Casa encantadora - La habitación es amplísima y muy cómoda con un baño enorme y un vestidor. La atención de Teresa exquisita y es muy fácil aparcar por los alrededores de la casa. Muy contentos con habernos alojado allí. Nos hizo algunas recomendaciones y muy estamos muy satisfechos con ellas. No encontramos nada que no nos gustara del alojamiento.

• Miguel (1/5): Anula la reserva el día de antes con una mentira - Nos llamo la tarde de antes diciéndonos que nos tenia que anular la reserva porque había sufrido una rotura en una tubería y que no está habitable la casa. Unos amigos tenían otra habitación cogida y nos dijeron que era mentira y que ese día entraron a dormir en nuestra habitación otras personas. Lamentable y denunciable, ya que 15 horas antes de la entrada nos anuló con una mentira sin darnos solución.

• Mike (6/5): Room Description Incorrect. Poor communication by hosts. - Initial impressions were good however..... My bike was safe in the courtyard Shower was good. This room was not as described. It had two single beds rather than a double bed. The beds were not greater than 2m in length as claimed. There was only a shower and not a bath and a shower. Out of curiosity I put a random date in the future into booking.com and even if there are 4 rooms available there is only one room description and one set of photos. There is what looks like a picture above the bed, which protrudes out above the bed preventing you sitting up in bed to read a book. The hosts tell you to call them if there is a problem. When you do call they say they do not understand which I can appreciate, however when you follow this up with a message in Spanish to their phone number and booking.com you do not get a response or an acknowledgement. The WiFi code was not available. Room surfaces were cluttered with nik naks so I had to put some on the floor to make space available. Damp in one corner of the room.

• Alexzp (10/5): Exceptional - I thought that it was impossible to surprise me, but this hotel-museum exceeded all my expectations. Cleanliness, homely atmosphere, wonderful owners - all this added to the positive impression. The town was also beautiful. If you are passing by, even 50-100 km will be worth it to stop here.

• Peter (8/5): Very good - When we arrived, the owner said that our booking had been cancelled by booking.com (for some unknown reason, and apparently not the first time this has happened) but fortunately they had a spare room available for us. We liked the room that we stayed in, very comfortable (with a four poster bed and sheets/blankets rather than a duvet), though would have benefitted from the provision of a kettle/tea/coffee facility as there was no evening meal or breakfast facility provided. Overall, we were very pleased with our overnight stay (approx half way along our 550 mile car trip between Santander and Torrevieja). Recommended accommodation. See above. Also limited parking available on the street.

• Ronald (7/5): Generally a total screw up due to Booking/ hotel which caused my wife and I a lot of anguish and I believe that Book - Quaint hotel The property was booked through Booking.com and guaranteed with my credit card. I had an email telling me it was now too late to cancel and would be charged if I was a no show. In spite of this when we arrived the hotel informed me they had cancelled the booking as I had not answered a phone call. If I received a phone call at all it would not be able to connect as we were on a ferry from Portsmouth to Santander. With the lady at the hotel not speaking English it was hassle until it was resolved and our 2 rooms became available.

• Jeanne (9/5): This hotel is a gem - The bedroom and the bathroom were very spacious and elegant. The bed was "huge" by comparison to other bookings and the bathroom was classy with a huge walk-in shower area. It had the feel of an Old World, classy hotel with a Spanish courtyard to boot. A spacious and private parking area was available to us. It's a gem of a little place in a non-touristy area of rural Spain. The hotel was not easy to find because the streets are like a maze. GPS was helpful, but not foolproof.
