Le parking gratuit et protégé dans le sous sol et le coin piscine pour les enfants ! L absence d intimité de notre appartement face à l entree et le manque d ustensiles pour faire un peu de cuisine pas de flûtes et de tire bouchon dans le coin de la route des vins ! La salle de bains assez restreinte pour poser les vanity également ! Un petit rafraîchissement de l appart pour lui redonner un coup de jeune !

- Ngcobo (7/5): it was a nice quiet place that felt safe and close to everything all at once - we were greeted by the host the moment we got there. check in is usually at 15:00, but due to an emergency reservation change, he was able to let us check in slightly earlier, which we greatly appreciated. he was a very good communicator and made sure to give us in depth info on the place and even offered to give us places of recommendation for food. the cleanliness of the house was fine, however i did feel that the dishes had a bit of dust in them, which would suggest the plates were not used often. i had to rinse some dishes before using cause of the dust. the rest of the house was beautifully cleaned, but i would have appreciated it if someone had come in prior to our check in or a few days before to ensure every part of the house is clean.

The apartment itself is spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. François and Louis were incredibly helpful throughout my stay, with François being a fantastic host, always available whenever needed. The property feels very safe and secure, with the added benefit of secure parking. Everything was neat, tidy, and modern. Highly recommended!

We had 2 to 4 people staying in the apartment and there was plenty of room. Parking was secure and underground. There are a few steps to get to the flat on the first floor but this wasn't an issue for us. In walking distance to all central Stellenbosch has to offer.

Location was good we could walk to restaurants ect The finishes ect is a bit run down, could use a bit of TLC hete snd there, new towels, plumped up pillows. The beds had their share of heavy traffic, a bit worn out.

Location uptown is better but expect to pay considerably more - The property is located in an area where you can walk uptown to the restaurants, bars & shops. Louis received us and was extremely polite & helpful. The units worked for what we required for three nights but is small for four adults and the bathrooms/basins are tiny. The bath towels were a mix and match and very small for adults for winter. The lounge seating could not accommodate four adults comfortably but we did not spend much time at the unit other than to sleep so it wasn't an issue for us. We did not expect to cook at the unit but did make breakfast in house one morning, the unit could do with better cookware if someone intends preparing their own meals. The complex and unit is secure both in terms of vehicle and pedestrian access.

- Richard (6/5): - This is a place with much potential. The units are clean, and the complex is within a ten minute walk to the bars and restaurants. But one feels that the management of the place is poor - an owner and a group of cleaners. It desperately needs a manager who could see what needs to be done, and activate it. To illustrate, when I came to leave, I was given nonsensical instructions about where to leave the keys by the owner, to be replaced by a set of equally nonsensical instructions. These were only solved by there being a maid on site.

The location is excellent very close to shops and the countryside with vineyards everywhere against a backdrop of mountains is stunning. Really enjoyed our short stay in Stellenbosch. Will definitely stay at Vilaroux if we ever visit Stellenbosch again. Nothing. Everything was really fine.

Safe parking in the basement with good security. The property is spacious with well equipped kitchen and each bedroom has its own comfortable shower.

I have been staying at various places including hotels all over Stellenbosch the last few months, for work and personal reasons. Vilaroux is by far, the most impressive of all my stays in Stellenbosch. Working WiFi, security, parking space and quiet were paramount to me. Having a seamless and stress free stay is also vital to me. Francois made sure there was enough electricity in the meter especially given the cold weather. He was there to meet me and walk me through the apartment. Very responsive. Louis helped me with check out and offered to help with bags. Everything was seamless and stress free - something which I appreciated. Previous experiences at other places made me wary of how some hosts could be micromanaging and some hotels lacked the warmth of a private accommodation. I’ll be back in Stellenbosch next year and will definitely book with Vilaroux.
