• DEBBIE (10/5): Wonderful quaint friendly city to visit along with other ports. - I loved the peacefulness of Salerno compared to the other ports we visited that were extremely over crowded. It’s a stones throw from train station & ferries. Very convenient location. The room was exceptionally clean & bed was very comfy! Restaurants are so good. A small flight of stairs to get to elevator. If you have muscle with you then no problem! You do have to meet up to get the keys, you will need a check in time.

• Loredana (5/5): La struttura ha potenzialità, ma il rapporto qualità/prezzo non è adeguato. Non torneremmo. - La posizione è ottima, a pochi passi dalla stazione e vicino al porto. Il proprietario è gentile, il frigobar è ben fornito e la TV grande e comoda da vedere dal letto. Il bagno è nuovo. Per il prezzo pagato (128 € a notte senza colazione) ci aspettavamo di più. La camera non rispecchia del tutto le foto online, non affaccia sul corso principale ma su una traversa, il letto e i cuscini non sono molto confortevoli, lenzuola e asciugamani risultano piuttosto usurati e infissi e pareti avrebbero bisogno di manutenzione. Mancano un armadio chiuso e una maggiore cura nella pulizia. Anche il condizionatore non sembrava particolarmente pulito. In bagno non sono presenti set di cortesia, i saponi sono in boccette ricaricate già molto utilizzate e la doccia è priva di appoggi per riporre shampoo e detergenti, risultando scomoda. Non ci sono aree comuni.

• Jerry (10/5): - The location is a 3 minute walk from the train, a 5 minute walk from the ferry and has off srreet parking available. The chic modern room was meticulously clean and has one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. There are blackout shutters for light and noise, and the bathroom has a state of the art shower with multiple spray options. It's located on a pedestrian plaza with good dining options nearby. There's a balcony with a partial sea view for enjoying the fesh air. We will definitely stay again if we return to Salerno. en coffee

Many restaurants close by, two grocery stores very close and a good selection of various shops outside the property. Clean property with fridge, kettle, coffee machine, air con, very comfortable bed, toiletries, shower (no bath). A very nice safe and clean place to stay for a few nights with very helpful owners. The like to be contacted on whatsapp, which has a fast response.

Mario greeted us at the front entrance and directed us to the second floor where Sylvia greeted us to checked us in. She was professional and explained everything with pride. The room was welcoming, bright, clean and very quiet and safe. It has black out shades that automatically go down when you leave the room and so the room stays cool. The host was very communicative with timely responses. The location is excellent, easy walking distance for bus, train, ferry port, and historic sights. Offering luggage storage is very appreciated. Nice bed, nice bathroom, an almost-nice view, very close to the bus/train station, located on a very pedestrian friendly street. Basically a hotel room in a multipurpose building - definitely not a B&B. Should be called Chérie Almost-Hotel. But it was a nice enough hotel room.

• An (8/5): Nice stay if you want to have a close location to both the city center and the train station. - Very good price / quality ratio. Location is very good. Very close to the train station where we could drop off the rental car and take a bus the next day to Salerno airport. At the end of the shopping street, so also very well located near the center of town (but still at a quiet place). Owner was very friendly and helped us to find the right info to get to the airport. All was in line with expectations. Room was not the most fancy one, but was clean which is more important to me.

• Lindsey (1/5): HORRIBLE DO NOT STAY HERE - There was black mold all over the bathroom I had an absolutely awful experience staying here. The place was covered in black mold in almost every room, which made the entire stay miserable. The walls, ceiling, and even the furniture were all affected, and the smell was unbearable. I felt like I was in a health hazard zone. To make things worse, the host was incredibly unhelpful. I reached out multiple times about the mold and the horrible conditions, but they ignored my messages and did nothing to fix the problem. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It's unsafe and the host clearly doesn't care about the well-being of their guests.

• Drew (6/5): Pleasant - This is a great location, the room was clean and the daily cleaning service was excellent. There is no dedicated staff or regular means for communication with the operator. Since there is no staffed desk, It would have been nice to have advanced notice of check in instructions since you needed to be guided on the process. The rooms need to be deep cleaned. Lots of hard water deposits cause the shink and shower not to work properly. The vinyl was peeling on the headboard badly and the balancing was shared with the adjoining room which was uncomfortable.

The central station is 2 blocks away through a pedestrian street. The pier is 2 block away, and it will take you anywhere you want. The supermarket is literally one block away. The place is quiet, clean, well decorated, comfortable, private and safe. We stayed for one week and enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommended, will definitely stay here again. Check-in instructions were excellent and well communicated. Alfonso even sent a list of restaurant recommendations and a link to book a ferry for our trip to Positano. • David (10/5): Excellent base in Salerno! - Absolutely lovely, spotless and spacious room with a balcony. Had fridge/kettle and great AC! It was perfect as a base for 4 days exploring the area, round corner from train station (great for Paestum!) and also close to ferry for Amalfi coast. Communication was super quick and we really appreciated the 1.30pm check in time. This is a real find, we heartily recommend.

• Katerina (10/5): Excellent location, clean room, caring host. - The place is nice, clean, and comfortable, and the host is very helpful and responsive. The greatest thing about this place is its location. If you hate dragging heavy luggage across town and cobblestones and up flights of stairs, this is a perfect place. It is only a 3-minute walk from the train station, the pavement is smooth, and the building has an elevator. Also, it is only a few-minute walk to a little harbor where ferries leave for most destinations on the Amalfi coast. Loved staying there.

• Maya (10/5): Loved our stay! - The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We were greeted upon check-in and were given a tour of the room and all the appliances. The hosts helped us with anything we needed and the room was very spacious, clean and had everything we need available. The location was perfect and was close to both the dock and train station.
• Fatma (9/5): Top location and very modern B&B - The Chérie B&B’s interior design is very modern and sophisticated and offers a lot of space. It’s located just at Salerno’s main shopping street and close to the ferry port, that’s an absolute plus! Thanks again Alfonso
