Guest Reviews
- Nicole (9/5): -
- Siegfried (8/5): - Sehr schön gelegen.
Sehr nette Gastgeber. Mobiliar etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
- Charlene (9/5): The stay was wonderful, the hosts were outstanding. Thanks for making us feel like family. - Room is in a lovely location. It is very comfortable and functional. There was a wonderful continental breakfast every morning which we got to share with guests for the other room. Matt was a great host and very informative, Christine was like being with family after the first night. She told wonderful stories about the area and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. First trip to Scotland's east coast and we loved it. Not a thing!
- Mandy (8/5): Little Gem of a place - worth a visit. - Breakfast was lovely- fresh blueberries and raspberries with yoghurt, cereal, followed by warm croissant and toast.
Hosts very welcoming and friendly offering advice about the surrounding area; things to see and do during my stay.
- Mandy (9/5): - The area and the friendly accommodating owners, nothing was too much trouble for them. We loved being so close to the sea The room was quite small, but very cosy

- Lynn Wise (10/5): - Matt . Was extremly helpfull. Regardless of his sore leg. and Christine who did breakfast was charming. Beautiful Hotel. Lovely and clean roomverycomfortable 5 stars off me. Im coming backk Nothing
- Cliff (8/5): A memorable stay in a beautiful place - Beautiful location. Amazing view. Great nature (the sea). Great history (Alexander Selkirk / Robinson Crusoe). Excellent restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Friendly, warm ambiance in the property. Great welcome from Matt. Looked after very well by Christine. No dedicated parking. Had to use municipal car park a hundred yards away. Not a big deal but the only aspect of the offering that is less than ideal.
- Irene (10/5): A fabulous B&B getaway by the sea - Comfortable room and great location, attentive and friendly hosts and a homely and beautiful home to stay in. The breakfast was adapted to be gluten free with a kind offer to provide various gf options I would have loved a sea view, but it is was my choice to stay in the cheaper non sea view room
- Loraine (10/5): -
- Kasha (10/5): Great place, great host and beautiful scenery. - Everything was great. The bed was just the way I like it - firm and large.
- Grace (6/5): -
- Martyn (10/5): Great B&B - Great location, Matt was extremely helpful and friendly, with lots of local knowledge. Great night sleep, really comfy room, lovely little touches. Excellent breakfast and great chatting to Matt. Would definitely stay and really recommend.

Lovely location overlooking the sea.
Very comfortable bed Nothing

Nichts
- Claire (9/5): - Lovely room with sea view. Delicious breakfast. You can walk along the coast from the guest house, lots of birds. Car park is very close by.
- De Koning (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay and breakfast at Seascape Largo - would love to come again! - We were very spoiled with a personalized breakfast for each one of us and it was great! Location is lovely - very quiet area, beautiful view, but close to St Andrews and other amenities. Everything was great.
- Kevin (10/5): Stunning location - Stunning location on the Fife coast, overlooking the Firth of Forth and the Isle of May. Great breakfast prepped and served up by Matt, the friendly host. We forgot to book good weather 🙄
- Terry (8/5): Cozy, and comfortable with an excellent breakfast. Great location, and lovely view. - Cozy, and comfortable with an excellent breakfast. Great location, and lovely view.
- Nigel (7/5): Autumn vacation to Fife. - Matt ( Matthew) proprietor really friendly hospitable chap. Makes one feel really at home.
Location is terrific right on the coast facing beach & sea with wonderful views. A 10 minute walk into the heart of Lower Largo with great pub & restaurant (Crusoe). Our room (front right) needed a good spruce up & the single glazed window ran with condensation, certainly in a morning.
Bathroom was compact with good powerful shower though the enclosure had seen a lot of use & traces of grout black mould were present.
Duvet & bedding a touch small for the super king bed (2 3ft divans, joined) & not that warm.
No refresh of towels, bin empty or tea tray during our 5 night stay. Matt would I'm sure have attended to these had we mentioned it. Probably only used to short stay guests 2 or 3 nights so maybe down to us being too polite to mention.
Maybe our expectations are greater than most but having used Booking.com 3 times in 2 months for accommodation rated 8.5 or higher, one property far exceeded expectation the other 2 fell below unfortunately.
- Susan (10/5): Excellent and will be back - The property was lovely. It was warm and very comfortable. Matt was an excellent host who couldn’t be more helpful. He made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He also made a lovely breakfast.
The location for all the coastal routs and closeness to St Andrews was ideal. Their was nothing to not like
- Jake (10/5): Excellent value for money stay in the fife region. Highly recommend - Very friendly and accomodating. Comfortable bed/room and an excellent breakfast. Great place to stay for a few nights while playing and watching golf in the area. Highly recommend a stay with Matt
- Christopher (10/5): A rare gem on the Fife shoreline. - If you're going to Scotland, a view across the water is a must. The location has a magnificent view across the Firth of Forth. Add to that Matt's mastery in providing homely hospitality, and you have a rare gem, indeed. No branding, no corporate image, just the real thing. And there's a mean choice of freshly prepared breakfast. To my taste, everything is as it should be, but rarely is.
l'd describe our bedroom as cosy.
The photo is from along the road in the village. The view is the same as that from the front of the house.
- Anna (10/5): -
- Ray (10/5): - The room was warm and comfortable with everything required. The property was on the sea front a short walk from amenities.. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of local produce. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
- Jean (9/5): -
- Chung-Yi (10/5): The place is a nice stop between St. Andrew and Edinburgh. - The ocean view is beautiful. Host is very friendly. It’s clean and comfortable. Nothing.
- Ulf (10/5): - Underbart att promenera längs stranden!
- Viv En Voyage (9/5): - All excellent! Spotless room with excellent facilities in a very pleasant location. Host extremely welcoming and helpful. Nothing
- Martin (9/5): - Small but cosy guesthouse. Delicious breakfast freshly prepared by our host, Matt, who also gave us information about the whereabouts. It is highly recommended if you are in the area.
- Andrew (10/5): Matt was an awesome host. Thanks so much! -
- John (10/5): On the beach. - Best spot in the area, right on the beach, best value, outstanding breakfast. Nothing.
- Krish (9/5): Relaxing sea view B&B - Host very welcoming, location a few yards from the beach & breakfast.
- Will (10/5): Amazing - host was incredible and amazing beachfront property. Host even let me borrow golf clubs! -
- Carol (10/5): Had a great overnight stay at Seascape Largo - Host Matt was fantastic & there was nothing he didnt know about area. Room was lovely & very clean. Had a lovely sea view from room. Whole place very clean & host went out of his way to please everyone. Breakfast was very good with everything good quality & cooked to order. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. There was nothing i didnt like
- Ron (9/5): Sunny Seascape - Great Spot! - Great service, nothing too much trouble and a super spot! Wifi struggled in the room - maybe 'repeater' could have helped?
- Anna (10/5): Like visiting family, you don't want to leave. - This was, without a doubt, one of the best B&B experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel like a part of their family. His warmth and brilliant hospitality created an atmosphere so welcoming and comfortable that it was genuinely hard to say goodbye. A truly exceptional stay. We honestly can't think of anything we didn't like.
- Elizabeth (10/5): A pleasant and comfortable stay. - Being opposite the beach was lovely and Matt the host was great and made our stay very comfortable. Nothing
- stephen (9/5): -
- John (10/5): - The breakfast is top class. I would also commend the comfort of the bed and the shower was one of the best that we have had during our travels
- Iain (8/5): Seascape provided a homely relaxed and welcoming base for our time in Lower Largo. - The bed was very comfortable and the room was reasonably spacious with a sea view. Breakfasts were pre-ordered, freshly prepared and consistantly exceptional quality.
Matt, our live-in host was most welcoming, accommodating and had a depth of interests which made conversations enjoyable. A couple of minor points related to the room. It was unfortunate that the window could not be opened more to allow the wonderful fresh sea air in to ventilate the room more fully. The bathroom, while well stocked and functional was a touch on the small side.
Due to the nature of the seafront accommodation, overnight free car parking was 150m down the road in the Temple municipal car park although unloading/loading could be accommodated outside the property.
- Chalmers (10/5): Very relaxing, superb couldn't fault it. - Great breakfast everything you could ask for excellent I was pleased with everything I liked everything , great host fab breakfast had everything we needed would definitely stay again
- Rowan (9/5): Superb -
- Nora (10/5): relaxing - Our host was very welcoming and went beyond his care to drive up to the main road to pick upmy friend, who was recovering from surgery, up from the bus and drive her down. The breakfast were cooked to perfection. everything was lovely
- Sonja (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely location, nice host who even took us on the chain walk, lovely breakfast. Nothing
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ann (10/5): Great host with quirky accommodation. - Great location and quirky accommodation. Matt is a super host. Breakfast around the table with the other guests leads to some great conversations.
- Soraya (9/5): Took a last minute detour from our highlands holiday to visit the coastal towns of Fife. Glad we did. - Comfy room with a lovely view of the sea. Amenities provided with much care and thought. Matt, the host, was the best. Gracious, friendly, and kind. Nothing
- Emily (10/5): - After 3 cramped and chaotic days in London, the Seascape Largo was exactly what we needed. The home is nestled perfectly in a little seaside village. The home is clean and the shower is HOT! The host, Matt, is welcoming and knowledgeable. Breakfast was prepared fresh each morning. We spent 2 nights here splitting our time between St Andrews and Edinburgh. The location was great; we drove 20 minutes to St. Andrews but took the Leven station train into Edinburgh, which was perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough. My husband and I hope to make a return trip when our children are old enough.
- Liane (9/5): Lovely friendly B&B with aspirations to be a 5 star hotel. - Good seafront location with free parking 100m away in a public car park. Large room with very nice en-suite. Lots of thoughtful extras. The owner was informative, cooked a fantastic breakfast and was an excellent host. A few narrow streets and blind bends to reach it.
- Laurie (10/5): Charming Seascape - Seascape was charming and special. Matt made sure our visit was memorable and went the extra mile to ensure that - he was an excellent host. A stones throw from the beach, the location was lovely, as were the residents of the village. Our room was quite warm - but we are used to air conditioning in Canada 🙃
- M.j.tandl (10/5): Exceptional - After our stay in Edinburgh, it was the perfect accommodation to calm down at the seaside. The host was very polite and accommodating. The breakfast was diverse and good. We loved it.
- Lucian (8/5): Lovely place by the sea on Fife coastal path - Location by the sea

- James (10/5): An excellent stay with a very hospitable host - strongly recommended. - The breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and with a wide choice. The bed was very comfortable and there was a very good en suite shower Ali g with the loo. The car parking at the location was a little tight but fortunately it was not too busy. There is an off street park a hundred or so metres away.

- Douglas (10/5): Will be back again anytime we need a B&B in the area! - Really clean, very comfortable twin room as requested. Breakfast was brilliant, location was superb. Lots of towels and very hot water, as and when required. A real pleasure to meet Matthew Allen and his two little dogs! Nothing could have been better, it was all just as we expected and could have wished for.

- Anouk (9/5): Very friendly and customer-oriented host - Charming host, good breakfast, nice location.
We stayed for 3 nights during a golf trip to St Andrews. The village has a nice pub, great sauna and some restaurants.
The beds were comfortable (excellent mattresses), just a bit short for people over 1.90m.
- Joanne (9/5): Fabulous location, views amazing, comfortable stay, great service - The owner was extremely helpful and polite Nothing
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ruth (9/5): Perfect getaway for much needed ‘R&R’ - Location was excellent with a sea view and peaceful. Breakfast was great, Matt provided everything we needed and nothing was a bother. Bedroom was cosy and spacious enough for 2, the shower was excellent too.

- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (10/5): I highly recommend this out-of-the way little bed and breakfast. - Matt was a very helpful, friendly and welcoming host. The room was clean and comfortable. No view to speak of but I didn’t need a view - I just needed a bed! Excellent breakfast, freshly cooked to order. It is also within easy walking distance of 2 hotels where one can get a good evening meal. The B&B was conveniently situated and on a quiet street. I would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area of Lundin Links or Lower or Upper Largo. One caveat: phone directly first - you just might get the best deal!
- Laura (9/5): Lovely seaside B&B - Excellent location friendly and helpful host, lovely breakfast and room

- Mo (10/5): 2 night stay - Excellent location right on the seafront. Very welcoming host and excellent breakfast each morning. The room was very comfortable with everything we needed.
- Harvey (10/5): Exceptional stay! - Amazingly warm welcome from the host. Lots of information provided about the area. Our room was overlooking the sea and the beach and it was stunning from start to finish. The room was immaculate and comfortable and the breakfast was so tasty and cooked to perfection. We parked our car in the little carpark just before the property with lots of spaces on it so no problems there. The property is right on the beach so it is in a prime location for a lovely walk...and some sea glass hunting if you like that like we do!! We could only spent one night due to work commitments but our next stay will be much longer!!
- Murray (10/5): Lovely stay and welcome - Matthew is a wonderful host, great to chat with and makes sure all your needs are taken care of.

Matt, the host, is a very lovely and knowledgeable man. The room was exceptional, and so was breakfast. Hopefully, we will get back here soon for another visit. Disliked nothing..
- Noora (8/5): Very good - Good breakfast and friendly host. Nice room.
