• Francesca (4/5): Honestly, I don't understand the high ratings this place gets online. While it might be okay for a single overnight - The Guest House is conveniently located near the University and the Hongdae district, making it ideal for both shopping and food. It's also well-connected by public transport. The sitting room area is very welcoming and spacious. Breakfast is great and self-service , including toast and eggs. They provide washing machines (they're always occupied) and vertical garment steamers Entryway Clutter: Getting in is often difficult because the entrance is completely cluttered with too many guest shoes. Old, Wet Bathrooms: The bathrooms (one on each floor) are clearly old, very dated, and often end up partially flooded. They also lack trash bins. Showers: I didn't see any hangers or shelves in the shower stalls to put belongings down. Storage Issues: The lockers are quite small; I couldn't fit my 50-liter trekking backpack inside. I had to leave my rolling suitcase out in the room because there was no space for it.

• RISA (9/5): ゲストハウスに慣れてたら問題なし - サンス駅から徒歩2分で近い、ホンデまでも歩こうと思えば歩ける距離だけど(18分くらい)韓国に慣れてない人だとサンス駅利用がおすすめ。 トイレが各階にあって自分の部屋の階が空いてなくても他に行けばいいのは助かったのとトイレとシャワー室が別々なのも良い。 2人部屋で他に人が来なければ1人部屋として使えるのですごく良かったのとやっぱり女性限定なのは強い。 シャワー室を使ってる時に韓国あるあるの水？なのか排水溝の匂いがあるので敏感な人は注意。シャワー室使った後とドライヤーの後抜け毛をそのままにする人が多いので潔癖な人は無理。使った食器洗わずにシンクに放置する人もいた。

• Jessica (9/5): 2 nights solo traveller overall good - It was nice staying in a small room with a single bunk bed. The two lockers and shelving rack inside the room were very helpful. The bedding was comfy and I really enjoyed the little vanity area with hairdryers and straighteners in the shower room. Girls hostels are often quiet and people keep to themselves but it's easy to strike up conversation and make friends if you want to. I stayed 2 nights, and both nights a new girl showed up after 10pm to stay overnight and then leave in the morning. This wasn't an issue for me but if you're a light sleeper, then people coming and going late might be inconvenient. One of the bunk bed's lamps didn't work, thankfully not mine. The toilet on the second floor had a constant drip from the ceiling in the doorway, kept dripping on my hand as I went to open or shut the door. Bit of hair collected on the shower drains. But overall, I enjoyed my stay, nothing fancy but nothing bad either:)

• Honey Jane (10/5): - Location is near the station, with many shops and restaurants around. I wish I could’ve stayed more! There was a smell from the 3rd floor when I was using the shower. Other than that, everything was fine.
• Orli (9/5): 如果我下次獨旅有排弘大的行程，還是會住這邊的！ - 住宿方非常親切（非常感謝><），我覺得給的指示也很明確，雖然多數人好像沒注意到玄關有寫要把自己的鞋子裝袋，因此玄關的鞋子整個滿到沒辦法站。 三樓走廊底有四個淋浴間跟梳妝區，水壓夠、熱水也夠熱超級讚。 因為有門隔住，吹頭髮時比較不用擔心吵到人，梳妝區有離子夾、每一間淋浴間與廁所都有附牙膏洗面乳等，真的非常方便。 住宿地點要從弘大捷運站一路往上走一段距離，如果不是搬很重的行李、就獨旅而言，CP值還是很高的！ 但還是建議早一點到，女生獨旅的話晚上走這段路會有一點點危險。 因為一樓也有房間，晚上過十二點後客廳的燈會全暗，我就是太晚到了，所以跟著其他幾個房客摸黑在客廳坐著吃晚餐。

• The Original MoMo (8/5): Quite Good! - The location was great! 2 minutes from Sangsu station and a 15 minute walk to Hondgae. There were complimentary body wash, shampoo, conditioner and face wash. The breakfast was simple but the jams tasted great. The staff although not physically present for my check in was very helpful via messages. I didn't know how to open the key to enter into the house. I had to place my hand over the face and then the keys would appear. Maybe this could be written in the instructions for travellers who are not familiar with this system.

• Kanokon (10/5): it always my favorite place to stay in Seoul. - The room is quite big and comfortable for sleeping. Each bed has their own electric socket and lamp. Inside the room has the locker for each person .

• Nicole (9/5): Great, homely hostel - This hostel has great cozy, homely vibes, it feels like home. The free breakfasts are great, and there’s always water, tea and coffee available in the common area. This hostel is also in a great location and is just next to a train station with plenty of convenience stores and other shops nearby, but is in a quiet alleyway so there is no noise from the busy area. The bathrooms were often desperately in need of a clean and regularly had wet floors despite no showers in the toilets?

• P (6/5): Ok place if you need a couple of hours of sleep - Close to subway location. Comfortable beds. Easy directions and communication with staff. Facilities don’t look like the photos. Everything is jammed in and more ran down/not a place you want to spend time at like the photos suggested. Doors/corridors are noisy, cramped with luggage and with air filters. Roommates were really unpolite, getting in at 2-3am, going multiple times in and out of the room and making loud noises, not even earplugs could save it. I guess because the facilities don’t have a front desk, quiet hours can’t be enforced so people just don’t care/respect it. Facilities downstairs are ran down/cramped, not welcoming. I got up and left as soon as i could.

• Parinaz (8/5): good for the price! i recommend it to all my solo travelling young women! - almost everything! the location is superb for young people since its close to hongdae but not too close, its right next to a train station thats one or two stops away from hongdae where you can take almost all the lines, the house is very clean and theres eggs and bread you can use in the mornings for breakfast, sweet staff the showers. its a bit moldy, theres holes in the walls that got taped over but the water still runs through right into the inside of the wall, the water pressure is absolutely horrendous when you try to have a hot shower. i could barely wash the shampoo out of my hair with that weak pressure…

The localisation is very convenient Bathrooms were a little bit dirty, but they were cleaning them every day. It's just that people leave their hair in the shower without cleaning after themselves I guess

• Jyothi (9/5): Nice place to stay - Last minute booking for just one night stay and it was good and cheap option. Quick booking and good communication on self check in details with all details. Room was maintained neat and clean. Free breakfast (bread, coffee, eggs provided) for guests to make their own. Had a very home vibe and felt very safe as it was only for women. No elevator. If you have luggage, you can leave it down in reception or will need to carry yourself up the stairs
• Melissa (4/5): It's a cheap place to lay your head. - I liked that there was self check in and free laundry machines to use. The cleanliness was really bad. It looked like the place was not cleaned often and there was black mold in the bathroom on my level.

• Rachel (6/5): Good location - The size of the shower. The free washer and water There were a lot of mosquitos in the room. It seems to be a problem in all of Seoul this time of year but maybe management can put citronella in the room to keep the mosquitos out. They also need to put real FITTED SHEETS on the mattresses. They only put a small blanket that barely fits the mattress shape… and it moves a lot while you’re sleeping and then your skin is touching the mattress that thousands of others have touched. It’s gross and makes me feel dirty.
• Lanfang (9/5): Worth the money - The location is great, close to line 6 and hongdae street. Breakfast is provided which saves time/money. The host responded quickly when help was needed. I think I will request to stay on the second floor next time.

• Boots (9/5): Stay here for your safe journey. - Firstly the communication was very good. Anything you needed or had to be communicated, it was quick and sorted straight away. The breakfast was good and left to your own independence. The cleaning was everyday and maintained standards to the best of there abilities. It is located in one the newest hotspots for nights out and communiting to anywhere in Seoul. The staff once you get use to them are a very proud and hard working team. They take pride in the hygiene and care of the guests. The rooms and beds where comfortable and secure. And for the value I paid, I cannot complain. There isn't anything. All was provided

• Beatrice (8/5): Very good - Very spacious kitchen area. Can make your own breakfast in the morning and there’s pans for cooking eggs as well as free coffee machine. Also great that the washing machine is free. Shower room was good with toiletries all provided. Didn’t have an issue while I was there, but can imagine you’d be queuing if the hostel was full. Also right next to a subway station and 10 mins walk from lots of restaurants and bars. Very unsocial. Not a single person spoke and didn’t see any other backpackers. After being in several other hostels though I think this may just be the culture here.

• Aparna (8/5): Very good - Close to subway. And not too far from Hongdae. A bit of Walk, still not too far to walk. Can take a bus to Hongdae too easily. They clean the place everyday. Owner is nice and friendly. Easy to check in. Value for money. Recommended. Hope they can change mattresses to a more comfortable one. Other than that everything was good! A very clean dormitory.

Host replied to my enquiry promptly. Thank you very much for the good stay experience! The hot water was not flowing continuously and might change to cold awhile and back to hot. The space for drying your cloths are limited but the property is handling it well. Besides, I got a supersensitive and rude roommate which ruined my mood awhile but luckily i'm checking out the next day....She is complaining me while I'm packing my stuff (it's 10pm and I can't even make noises while packing? Sorry I already tried my best to minimize my sound though) Hope that the property is able to offer a single room in future 🥲

• Anastasia (6/5): Uncomfortable bed, not clean but in good area. Ok for a quick stay. - Great location. Close to the train station and the Hongdae street. The bathroom was dirty and the water pressure was weak, the shoe area was crumbled up and unorganized, my shoes were stepped at and ruined. The common area is uncomfortable and is not allowed to be after sweating hours, the rooms were small and crumbled, beds are squeaky and shaky, bathroom area were clogged and unusable. The cameras on the top floor (shower) are facing the glass door with showers, if you take a shower and come out in a towel or naked, you are in camera! I came back to my room only find another drunk female sleeping in my bed. They let you keep the luggage but there is no designated area to it and it’s just kept in a staircase with EVERYONE And their mother walking through.

• Nieuwsha (10/5): Exceptional - When I first arrived, I was greeted by the sweetest lady ever who helped me with my suitcases. Even though I booked a 4-person room, the host upgraded me into a 2-person room, which I pretty much had all to myself during my stay. The host and her husband are very kind people, and they reply to your messages almost right away! The house and rooms are super clean and get cleaned daily. The other guests are also really nice. Overall I had a great experience and will definitely book this place again!
