Guest Reviews
- Karen (8/5): It was what we expected, have stayed there before. - Breakfast area and selections was very good. Like that there were several luggage carts available to use. Difficulty in connecting WI-FI....had help from front desk person, but it only lasted short time and couldn't get connected again.
- Bonnie (7/5): Overall it was a great stay! - The breakfast, beds are comfortable, location, price, distance from activities. The ONLY thing we didn't like was the smell at night. It smelled like someone was smoking marijuana in the hallways.
- Flynn (7/5): -
- Karen (9/5): Clean, good value - Clean, quiet stay. Location was good for us. Breakfast was fair, no yogurt.
- LISA (10/5): -
- Jessica (4/5): Ok - Staff was kind. The hot tub did not work even after them having it fixed. Oh and there was someone’s dirty sock under the bed that wasn’t any of ours sooo
- Laura (8/5): -
- Lawless (10/5): -
- Franz (2/5): Would never stay here again. I've previously enjoyed Comfort Inns, but this will make me avoid them. - Location was good The air/heat unit did not work properly. The shower head was corroded and stuck. The breakfast supplies were not attended to (the breakfast worker was sitting in a side room on her phone while supplies were run out and spills ignored).
- Jenni (9/5): -
- Ja'Nesa (7/5): I was great overall! staff was very helpful, I felt safe, and I was able to enjoy all the amenities! A few tweaks would - In a good area! Indoor pool, good breakfast! the pool room was nice! not to humid and it’s big enough to have multiple family. Good security, Room was clean and quiet. Also they have roku tvs! that was a nice additive! Also, full size mini fridge!
added Shelves, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. beds are very firm!
jets in hot tub don’t work(not a big deal just fyi)
- Mary Jo (8/5): -
- dawnv32 (8/5): Very clean hotel with comfortable beds - Very clean hotel with comfortable beds. We stopped on the way down and back from our latest trip. Hot breakfast is about average.
- Joleen (2/5): It was the second worst hotel I have stayed in - Cockroaches on the walls. Breakfast did not start until 7:30 am. No counterspace in bathroom for anything--just a sink and toilet, shower with thin towels
- Virginia (4/5): Will not go back. - It had avails as we traveled through Hannibal. It was dirty. The ac unit sounded like a rattling turbo engine. The chair in our room had white spots on it. The exterior of the fridge was filthy. Only a handful of tv channels. Remote didn’t work properly. Wifi didn’t work. There was a dark hair on my pillow.
- Jose (10/5): -
- Glenn (8/5): - The walls were really thin and especially the noise outside sounded like it was in my room.
- Nancy (9/5): - The front desk lady was very friendly and helpful. We had trouble with our TV and she came up to help us. So thank you for that. Breakfast was ok but not very hot. And vanishes were almost frozen like
- Huber (10/5): -
- Richmiller (7/5): This place was pretty decent. - No one bothered us. Was peaceful. Ppl were not very friendly.
- Bridget (10/5): - It was late when I checked in. I was greeted and checked in quickly. Room was close to lobby. I felt safe and everything was clean There was a smell of curry, not unpleasant, just different. The bathroom was a little small
- DONALD (9/5): will stay again for the breakfast alone!! - great hot breakfast. Bed was comfortable. room was a little warm
- sandim931 (10/5): Wonderful place to stay - Clean, comfortable, great staff, great breakfast.... This was my second time there and I will definitely return. Comfort Inn just won my business,
- Tom (8/5): -
- Walter (5/5): would not stay there again - Not very good
- Jennifer (9/5): - Bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Warm food and many options. Pool was dirty. The floor in the room was dirty just walking from the shower to the bed my feet were black from the carpet. Wear shoes in the room all the time.
- Carol (9/5): Comfort Inn & Suites far exceeds other places we stayed recently. - The breakfast was fine. We felt comfortable with the location and there was very little noise from other guests. We originally had trouble figuring out the TV, but once we realized what we needed to do it was no problem. We also could not get the tub/shower to completely turn off.
- Richard (8/5): -
- Johanna (8/5): Comfortable, pleasant stay, with a decent, free breakfast. - Decent breakfast. Liked that there were healthy options like yoghurt, fruit and oatmeal. You can make your own waffles and those are pretty good. Friendly and helpful personel. The only thing we noticed was a strange odor in one of the hallways. Not in the room though, it was very clean and pleasant.
- Jeanette (8/5): -
- Anita (3/5): Stayed in 5 hotels on this trip. This was our least favorite. - Staff was pleasant Very poorly stocked breakfast, even though we were there an hour before it shut down. On the buffet, there was only one pastry, one yogurt, very small serving of eggs, no sausage until we had finished eating. No matter what people did such as spraying the griddle, waffles stuck and came off in small chunks. Staff checked the buffet but didn't restock.
Non-smoking room smelled like smoke. Bathtub floor was almost black. Showerhead sprayed everywhere but on you. Room stocked with two towels for 4 people. Less than half a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom.
- tammy (10/5): -
- Rachel (3/5): Being pet friendly is the only reason I return. - The location is convenient on my route that I frequent to work, so I have stayed here a few times. The area feels generally safe and the staff has been kind. The water pressure in the shower has been excellent. Each time since I travel with a pet and my four kids we are put into the same few pet specific rooms. 327 specifically sucks. Several times it has reeked of urine. Time before last I had to request to be moved because my kids couldn't sleep on the pull out couch due to the stench of urine on the cushions. The tv didn't work twice now that we have been put into that room. I've been unable to connect my Mac to the internet to follow up on work emails. Connects but never loads-generally too late at night after my drive to want assistance. The cell service is minimal as well, but that is no fault of the hotel. However, that is where the wifi would step in and save the day. The reviews rave about the breakfast, but it is seriously just your typical hotel breakfast where they put out cereal and baked goods, waffle machine, and then some eggs (This is debatable), sausage, biscuits, and sausage gravy. The hotel could definitely use some upgrades and a better cleaning staff.
- Sherryle (8/5): Nice - The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had trouble with the internet. It wasn't stable. I had to reconnect.
- Kristle1989 (10/5): - I wanted to apologize to the hotel for my son getting s8ck on the bed. I am sorry! Nothing great place peaceful and quiet
- Ryan (9/5): - The person at the front desk was the best. He was very accommodating and courteous. Great location. Close enough to the main road but not close enough to hear the traffic.
- Faith (9/5): Good service and hospitality are sadly lacking these day, but NOT here! Every person I dealt with was exceptional!! The - The hospitality of each staff member was so great! Warren especially was kind and helpful! This is rare in the hospitality business these days. The water pressure could be a little better. But it was fine not bad.
- Darin (8/5): - Close to hwy No where close to eat, bed wasn't comfy
- Nita (10/5): Very nice property - would stay here again. - Breakfast was typical hotel fare. Nicely presented, hot and great coffee. nothing
- Wallace (9/5): -
- Rodney (7/5): -
- Rebecca (6/5): Fine for a quick overnight - Easy to get to from the highway; hot tub; decent breakfast; small fridge and freezer combo in room Older property and room; room was small for four people with split bathroom; shower was clean but old fixtures and stains/marks on ceiling; heavy smell of food being cooked; hot tub water was warm (not hot) and water level was low
- Kristin (4/5): - The breakfast was fine. The carpet in the elevator was very dirty. There were pieces of trash around the hot tub and pool and the hot tub was very noisy. Not all much for jets on it either. The breakfast was fine, what I expected. The fire alarm was beeping when we arrived at our room. We were told that someone would be up and that we could just remove the battery....but it is hardwired. So we went left the room for an hour and no one fixed it while we were gone. I called the front desk and was told it would be taken care of....40 minutes later still no one arrived. I went to the front desk and was told again to just remove the batteries. Around 9:30 pm, a person came to the room, and the alarm was disconnected and removed from the room because the maintenance person was not available. I would not stay there again. It was overpriced for the quality of the rooms.
- Erin (7/5): -
- Vicky (8/5): It was ok - It was ok There seemed to be an odor in some of the rooms
- Geier (9/5): -
- John (8/5): very nice and comfortable. - Was quiet and relaxing. Will stay again. English is not their language. Was hard checking in as she could not understand me. She was very nice but communication with her was very difficult.
- Ginger (10/5): - We were able to have breakfast before we left very early. He has it ready earlier & we appreciated it!
- Kim (8/5): -
- Pennie (8/5): -
- Brittany (6/5): It was nice enough, but would not likely stay again. - I would call this hotel the “enough” hotel. It was clean enough, comfortable enough, nice enough for the price. The TV was strangely complicated to operate, there were several places we found random hairs that seemed pretty obvious, a sock had been left from previous visitors in the bathroom, and the entire hotel had a strange smell. Also, as we were getting packed up about 3 hours prior to check-out time, staff knocked on the door to ask if we were checked out so they could get in there to clean.
- Dale (9/5): Clean & quiet room. Friendly staff. - Easy access from highway. Close to lots of food. Quiet building with friendly staff. All good
- Frances FURST (7/5): - The staff was great It's an older motel, I thought the price was high for what it was.
- Robert (10/5): -
- Nita Wolf (7/5): -
- Lori (3/5): Would not stay here again or recommend to anyone. - Bed was comfy. Checkin was easy. Breakfast was terrible. Stayed for 4 nights and had the same thing every morning. Sausage tasted old as did the waffle. Pool and hottub area smelled. There was a dehumidifier in the pool area. Watched a staff member dump that water in the pool. Water levels were low at least 6 inches in each. Hot tub was noisy ...drain noise.
- Clubb (10/5): -
- Caitlyn (5/5): -
- Paula (8/5): - Our room smelled like it had been a smoking room previously. Also the spa was nice but made a loud noise with the jets on.
- william (8/5): - Room ok
- Ardy (8/5): -
- Pat (4/5): - There was no one at the front desk, had to pick up a phone to get someone to check us in. T.V. remote was very strange and very hard to operate. It had no numbers on it so had to figure out how to get the guide to come up and was difficult to even figure that out. Room smelled musty.Wouldn't stay there again.
- William (6/5): - #1, the TV did not work at all. When i attempted to call the front desk, the phone would not woek, no dial tone. The place is old & needs updates and a good cleaning. Will not stay there again. The staff was friendly enough.
- Perry (6/5): - It just okay.
- Suzann (10/5): Very nice, clean and very responsive to needs. - Pet friendly but clean! Nothing!
- KELLY (2/5): - I think the hotel must have flooded at some point. There is a creek that runs next to it. The rooms SMELLED. We tried a couple different rooms and they both reeked of mildew and had visible mold on the wall. Thank god we were only there for one night because I could not have stayed any longer than that.
- Steven (8/5): - Convenient The egg substitutes suck.
- RatzDavid (5/5): -
- Theresa (8/5): - Clean. No issues. Would stay again.
- Radil (10/5): -
- lilgnomemomma (10/5): - Friendly staff
- TIMOTHY (4/5): - Spa and pool were dirty and air quality in that area was poor.
- William (10/5): - Nice property.
- Kathleen (9/5): Comfortable room, decent breakfast, good price - Bed comfortable, room clean, decent breakfast All was good. No complaints
- Rhonda (7/5): -
- Timothy (2/5): The only thing missing was crime scene tape! - The staff was very friendly and helpful. The condition of the room was terrible. It seemed as if every surface was sticky, and the room lighting was dim. The ceiling looked like it had been repaired but never repainted. The grout and the tile in the shower was nasty! Like I said. The staff was awesome! The room looked like a set from a creepy movie!
- Ruby (10/5): - The breakfast buffet was very good. Having the pool, hot tub & exercise room was a plus. Location was convenient. Staff was great. Will definitely stay again when in this area.
- NATALIE (9/5): -
- Mandy (10/5): -
- Debbie (9/5): -
- Lake (7/5): -
- Jayme (10/5): - The beds were super comfy
- Jessica (10/5): - Beds were comfortable. Room was nice with lots of room. Staff was nice. Breakfast was delicious.
- kellykY9812YT (2/5): Never again. Gross place! - Bad from start to finish. Horrible smell the moment you enter the hotel. Other terrible smells in the room. Blood or poop on the bathroom light switch. Breakfast started at 7 but wasn’t set up until closer to 7:30.
- Ammaretta (1/5): Bad Stay ( was not compensated) - Pool area was nice and clean The bed bugs in my room the panty liner in the towels in our room the door didn't lock to our room the hair in the bathtub
- Michael (10/5): Nice Hotel - Very nice hotel. Staff is amazing and room was clean
- Crystal (10/5): - Clean. Fast check in
- Bryana (10/5): Exceptional -
- michelle (8/5): Good stay - This was a quick stop on our way through. It was clean, the sheets were comfortable, the bed average, we ended up with a noisy room, next to the elevator. Maybe down the hall would not have been so noisy. They had a buffet breakfast that was not really stocked. I went down at 9am. So maybe try earlier. Lots of parking, ice machine worked and it does have a laundry. Dollar general next door for snacks and fuel across the street. We did not use pool, but seen many headed there every time we were in elevator.
- Paul (10/5): - Clean
- Mary (8/5): Met my needs for a one night stay, was clean and quiet. - Breakfast was fine, nothing extraordinary, but met my needs. Scrambled eggs, sausage and small biscuits were fresh and better than most chain hotels. Rooms were clean and quiet. Nothing to dislike.
- aileen (10/5): - Hotel was very clean and comfortable. My granddaughter loved the pool. Nice breakfast!
- Lynn (8/5): - The main Complaint is the hot tub didnt work properly and the pool seeme cloudy.
- Claudia (9/5): Superb - We originally booked a room with 1 Queensize bed and a sleep couch, but only learned at the hotel that we would need to prepare the couch ourselves. Thankfully, the receptionist was very forthcoming and offered us an alternative room with 2 beds. We appreciated the helpful and pragmatic attitude.
The hotel is well-maintained and a short drive from Hannibal's attractions. It is suitable for short as well as prolonged stays. The outside humidity is also an issue indoors, but this is probably not something that can be managed by anyone - it's just the climate.
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Amanda (10/5): Will stay here again! Excellent price! - Great location, quiet and the pool and hot tub was a hit with our family. N/A
- Debbie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rick (10/5): - I thought the breakfast was great, the room spacious and overall experience excellent.
- Leonard (1/5): Disgusting room - Nothing The room was moldy and smelt like smoke very disgusting we didnt stay we got an went to a different hotel
- Barbara (10/5): - Great area and clean facilities
