• Leslie (10/5): AMAZING getaway - Pretty much everything!!! I love the rooms I have stayed in. I love the staff. I love the amenities. I love the location. I love the neighborhood and neighbors. I love the wildlife. I am a fan. The water takes awhile to heat up (not a super big deal I get it) and maybe a different option for breakfast for vegan lovers.

Es gibt kein Restaurant, das Frühstück wird kurz vor 9 Uhr auf’s Zimmer gebracht. Eine Bar im Garten schliesst am 30.9., die Rezeption ist nur bis 17/18 Uhr besetzt. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind vom Design sehr schön, aber schon sehr abgenutzt. Sie sind sauber, aber müssen dringend renoviert werden. Heerlijk ontbijten op je patio met fantastisch uitzicht over de tuin. Heerlijk ! het gebrek aan een gezellige bar of zitje waar je een drankje kan nuttigen wanneer je terug komt in het hotel.

• lovetotravel (7/5): Pleasant stay - Aesthetic and vibe were cool. Room was big and comfortable. Good shower pressure (although small shower). Breakfast presentation was very cute. Grounds were nice. Could be noisy at times - like you hear water running and various other plumbing noises in the evening and overnight. Overall clean but a bit run down. Could stand to replace stained pillows and furniture (sheets were clean though). Parking was full one day. For the price they are charging need to work out some of these quirks.

The only way they could be better is getting more partnerships with local businesses and advertising them to guests before their stay (e.g. an email digest) to help guide those who book early.
• Dennis (7/5): Not worth the money for the stay. - Not happy with the continental breakfast. Location was good and grounds in back of the resort were well kept and nice to look at. The continental breakfast could have been much better. The bagel was not toasted and on the first day there was no cream cheese or fruit spreads to put on the bagel. The steps in and out the building had plants covering the hand rails which made it unsafe going up and down the stairs.

The backyard is cute and it’s nice to have beach access which is rare in the area. The picnic breakfast is a nice touch. Problem is the building is poorly constructed - the walls are so thin you hear every step and every word of your neighbors. Also the floors are plastic and there is some plumbing issue so the bathroom smells like sewer.

• Suzette (10/5): Don’t wait, book today! - Perfect hotel for a solo, girls, or couples trip. I happened to go on a solo overnight stay and felt comfortable, welcomed and safe. The rooms were charming and clean. I loved the patio outdoor seating area, the wine bar, and the sauna. I ordered a s’mores kit which was great and loved the complimentary breakfast basket. The beds were comfy and I had the best sleep I’ve had in a while. The staff were amazing!

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the peaceful atmosphere—it truly felt like a hidden escape. The amenities were top-notch, and everything was clean, modern, and well-maintained. Yes, the stay was on the pricier side, but honestly, it was worth every cent. The comfort, service, and ambiance more than made up for it. I only wish I had booked a longer stay and they had a microwave in the room leaving was the hardest part! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

• Kimberly (4/5): Do not recommended staying at this glorified motel - The view Everything! Felt like a glorified motel at over $700 a night. We were in town for destination wedding and looking forward to getaway at this upscale, adults only hotel. After our stay it is clear this hotel is 3 star at most. It was overpriced, room not laid out well (stayed in Corner King Studio), smallest bathroom ever (husband and I couldn’t even fit in bathroom together at same time) especially compared to room size. Glass shower partition not properly attached to tub so water went everywhere with every shower. Overall poor amenities for “5 star” resort - no bar, no restaurant, no room service, no lobby area. TV connection didn’t work because of WiFi connection at hotel. Both times I used bathroom by front check in area there was no toilet paper and bathroom wasn’t clean. And the worst was listening to a barking dog in another guest’s room for over 2 hours early Sunday am. Hotel manager notified and aware of noise but she didn’t take action to quiet the dog (hotel claims to have explicit rule that dogs can’t be left in room without owner and this dog was left alone for over 2 hrs in early am) . I would not return to Aqua even if room was free. It was not a pleasant stay or 5 star hotel experience.

I confirmed with staff before booking that the hot tubs would be available, but upon arrival, ours was removed the next morning, and I learned they were scheduled to be taken down that weekend. This was the main reason for my booking. I strongly feel they purposely misled me so I would still book with them. Additionally, the rooms had extremely thin walls, allowing us to hear everything from neighboring rooms and outside. We were disturbed all night by loud guests and staff. Overall, it was far from a relaxing getaway, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. This is a very pricey hotel, but I still wouldn’t recommend it if it were $5 a night.
• Liliana007 (8/5): Smells like dogs, but cute exterior - I like the amenities like the hot tub and sofa beds outside as well as the picnic basket breakfast. The complimentary glass of wine was also really nice! I understand it's a dog friendly hotel but I personally don't have any pets and there was a particular smell all throughout the hotel including a really bad smell in the igloo due to the carpeting everywhere.

• Jonathan (8/5): We had a good time besides the weather the pictures online where deceiving - I love the vibe. The staff was very nice. What I didn’t like about it is that there was a big flood outside. The shower on how room was leaking and there was a puddle every time on the floor. And you could tell there was a lot of water damage in our hotel room in the bathroom and in other spots of the room.

• Krista (10/5): Perfect, relaxing, get-away from the city! - The property was beautifully situated right by the beach and very close to the wineries. Each detail was carefully thought-of and offers a very relaxing vibe. The rooms were immaculate! They also offered us complimentary rose and half an hour late check-out. The staff are all wonderful and always checked-in if we needed anything. I can’t wait to go back! Nothing, everything was perfect but maybe a bar/restaurant that’s open late would be a nice addition.

• Robert (10/5): Great place to re-charge the batteries - Great place to stay and unwind - even though the weather didn't cooperate. The Peconic Bay is great to swim in and the hot tub was a ton of fun. The staff was super helpful. The only drawback is a lack of a bar/restaurant.

• Claudia (4/5): It's cute, but this place is not worth the price they charge. - The staff was friendly and accommodating, Calm environment, Bedding is clean, Comfy pillows, Nice add-ons (massages, etc.), Adults only, Hot tub, Quaint location We stayed in the roof top suite: The AC vent that was over the bed dried my husband's eye out. His eye was tearing and he had blurred vision for most of one day. We had to ask to have it covered so that we could sleep comfortably. There is a huge crack in the ceiling where the light fixture was. There is a 1 inch gap all around an unsealed sprinkler pipe in the closet. This coupled with the thin walls made it easy to hear everything in the employee lounge which is right next to the suite (conversations were clear as day). The view of the beach was blocked by two big old AC condensers and the roof that they were on. The beach was much smaller than expected. The roof top suite is advertised as an apartment and didn’t even have a kitchenette. Bathtub was not clean. There was mold on the side shelves and streaks all around the tub. Lighting in the bathroom was terrible. We asked for a floor light and we got a table lamp with a dim light bulb. I ended up using the flashlight I brought with me. Breakfast basket had no variety. No other food available and there was no real table with chairs to eat on inside the room. Not worth the price compared to the other rooms on the beach front. Warped walls. Lifting floor tiles. Room was smaller than expected. Some of the windows didn’t open. Virtual key did not work. Poop on the grass. Room service never restocked the body wash and we had the room serviced two times during our stay. The second time we had room service come in, was the night my husband discovered (in the middle of his shower) that there was no more body wash. It was terrible because it was 9pm and the staff had already left the hotel. The Wifi was horrible. Roof top suite is not worth the price we paid. It is definitely over priced. I expected a lot more for something that cost $1000 a night.
