• Jan Vejbor (7/5): Well situated, clean, though maby too simple - Clean and well cleaned, well situated both to the city and next to the former Expo grounds and restaurants, there is also a 24 hour grocery store, reasonable pricing. Too simply equipped room, apart from bed and table with a small stool no furniture in the room, no wardrobe or other furniture to put your luggage or clothes on for the other day on, just one short rail holder next to the doors. No doors in the shower so floor gets wet even if you try for a lower stream from the shower.

• Ana Carolina (10/5): Wonderful place - The room was very comfortable. It had all I needed to have a pleasant stay. The coffee in the breakfast included. Too light, it seemed like tea. I prepared my own coffee in the room every day.

• Sava (7/5): Would book it again if I had to come to the DCC. Overall satisfied. - The location was perfect to attend the conference at the DCC. The room is small, but it has everything. The shower is an open kind, so not very practical. The air conditioner is badly positioned, so either you turn it off and suffer from heat or you turn it on and it blows on your bed, so you risk getting a cold. The cleaning services put fresh towels in and take out garbage, but don't sweep the floor, it's really odd. There was an air conditioning system maintenance on one of the days with no warning, so the air conditioner was not working and the reception staff didn't know anything about that.

• Nodoubt46 (8/5): Very nice hotel - Very nice hotel and helpful staff. Only major drawbacks was there was no storage for clothes or hanging racks and there was no laundry machines in the building. Since I was staying for 2 weeks, this was an issue, but I imagine for shorter stays it would not be an issue. This hotel is also mostly a wedding venue so on occasion I felt very out of place traveling through the downstairs portion when a wedding was going on.

And later I just know that it is not much use for transportation in Daejoen in stead of T MONEY Card ) I think he is lack of service mind : only my group for check What will he do ? at the front office if he do mind to work anymore in the front , Pls let him do in the back office or in the kitchen .

• Kyounghwan (2/5): 비추합니다. - 객실 내부가 너무 작고 인테리어가 호텔이라 할수 없는 모텔보다 못한 수준임. 욕실에 이전 사용자의 머리카락이 여기저기 있어 청소상태 불량. 가장 큰 문제는 옆방과 방음이 되지 않음. 1층 출입 시 웨딩홀 부페때문인지 좋지 않은 냄새가 남. 다시는 이용하고 싶지 않은 최악의 숙소였음. 설령 앞의 문제를 해결한다해도 5만원 수준의 숙소

• Verified traveler (8/5): - 1. 객실 전반적으로 깨끗합니다. 치약, 칫솔, 면봉, 로션 등 비품은 무료 제공되지 않아서 별도 준비해야 합니다. 난방은 온돌이 아닌 히터로 됩니다. 건조합니다. 2. 조식 조식으로 나온 반찬 중 하나인 닭튀김은 제대로 익지 않았습니다. 조식을 기대하고 가는건 추천하지 않습니다. 3. 주차 1층 주차장이 넓습니다. 지하 주차장도 있는 것으로 보이는데 출입이 통제되는 것으로 보였습니다.
• Javamon (2/5): AVOID THIS HOTEL. - Very basic rooms. One bath towel, no room service, no minibar, two generic water bottles provided; beware (!)... only one is free. Very unhelpful/unfriendly staff; was given room at rear of hotel with view only of air conditioning system and wall. While hotel appeared empty, was summarily told no other rooms were available by both the evening and morning staff. However, neither checked for availability -- leading to my strong suspicion that such answers were "stock phrases" instructed by management to be provided by staff to dissatisfied customers (such as myself). Breakfast was simply awful. I am a very prolific world traveler and this is the worst I've seen except apart from extremely poor third world countries. Overall recommendation: AVOID THIS UNPLEASANT HOTEL.
• iloves1nglemalt (8/5): Basic hotel close to conference centre - Stayed for five nights during the Keystone Conference symposium for small RNA. Location is far away from the city centre but close to the conference centre. Not too many bars/restaurants can be found in the vicinity. Room was rather small but very neat and modern. Breakfast was ok. Overall good value for money.
• tkwetina (8/5): Price good - okay for business - rooms a bit small - This hotel offers a good price and we stay here once a year. Rooms are a bit small - single Traveller have no problems. Bit noisy as you can hear your neighbors. Bathroom modern. Comes with cable TV& fast internet . Price wise better than others.
• C1143PTalexanderm (6/5): Rooms very basic, breakfast even more so - I have been here on a business trip in November 2017. The location is rather convenient when doing business with the university, otherwise it is slightly far away in particular from the train station. The hotel itself is okay. What appeared weird to me was that the first person greeting us at the reception apparently hardly spoke any word of English - and did not understand that we wanted to check in. This was a bit curious, given that a hotel is per definition an international place. However, that was probably a one-off, since all other employees seemed both very friendly and communicative. The rooms are very basic. What is slightly annoying, though, is that they simply do not have any wardrobes. Well, of course travellers usually carry a suitcase along, however, this was nevertheless a bit of an inconvenient surprise. Furthermore, the walls appear to be very thin... which may also not be what you are wishing for, as it may force the guest to audibly participate in their neighbours' conversations and/or nightly activities. The breakfast is also a bit strange. Not only does one get thrown out at the second the clock hits 9:00 am, but also the quality of the food is rather mediocre. Even worse the coffee, which probably does not deserve that name. Thus, even though there is rather good food available in general in Korea, you may not be very likely to find it at the breakfast here.
• sumantra_travel (8/5): ICC Hotel, 13 Oct'16 - 13 October, 2016. I was at the impressive ICC Hotel for the conference IROS'16, whose farewell party was hosted at the hotel, in their impressive large dining hall on an upper floor, accessible by a stylish escalator. The dining hall itself is modular, and the party used up all of the large space, with the high ceiling. The dining hall also has a great view of the outside, looking towards the Daejeon river, and the Expo bridge across it. The view looked magnificent at night, with lights all around, and the reflections. The place is a short walk from the Daejeon Convention Center, the venue for many an even, and in this case, the conference sessions themselves. The ICC hotel had organised the decorations and the catering. The most impressive part of the decorations was an ice sculpture with the letters `IROS2016' made in shiny ice, which gradually melted away into the evening, in the party which went from 06:30 pm to 08:30 pm. The food itself was extremely impressive, with an extensive drinks layout (beer, white wine, red wine, and more), and a wide range of filling salads, main courses, and finger food. The food was replenished very quickly by the attentive staff, and service was with a smile. Not just was the catering in the hotel superb, the decorations and overall ambience was also very nice. With the proximity to the Daejeon Convention Center, this is an attractive proposition to stay for a conference or an event.
• AlanofLondon (6/5): Modern hotel, pity the owners never slept here - This modern hotel is a perfectly fine choice for an overnight stay. Like many modern hotels one wonders if the designers and architects ever spent a night in one of their buildings as small details that make such a difference to a guest's convenience are missing. On arrival the three steps up have no access ramp, immediately giving a major problem to the disabled and a minor one to those with wheeled luggage. Once inside the staff are friendly and welcoming. The room was fine, but missing any wardrobe, shelves or storage place. There were 2 hangers on wall hooks and that was it. Presumably they are not expecting guests to stay long enough to unpack. The bathroom was fine, but poorly lit. Shaving was by feel, not vision. The double bed had no nightstand and limited access on one side, perhaps it was intended for single use? The bed was however large and comfortable. The TV had a wide choice of channels. Breakfast was served in a coffee shop that was bizarrely situated within the indoor parking area of the hotel - more strange design. The buffet breakfast itself had a reasonable selection of western and Korean dishes but as so often almost every dish was disappointing (including the brown water dispensed from the container labelled coffee). All was functional, nothing particularly enjoyable. Nothing about this hotel was bad and our stay was perfectly fine but what frustrates me is that it could have been so much better with just a little more thought in the design.
• jeanknaak (10/5): Conference Hotel at a great price - We stayed at the ICC Hotel for 5 nights while at a conference. It is less than 5 minutes from the Daejeon Convention center but would be good anytime. The rooms had great beds and pillows and good bathrooms. Breakfast was provided in the coffee shop. It was clean. It is not an American hotel so the room is smaller, and no closet just hanging space. But the bathroom was above what one might expect for this price range. The feel is Asian and very neat throughout the hotel.
• FamS29 (4/5): not more than 2 stars maximum! - Room (minimalisitc): the room does not provide any drawers, cupboards, closets - only 2 hangers hanging from a tiny wooden bar. There was further more no water and no safe! This is a clean and otherwise OK 2-star hotel.
• fscholar (10/5): Excellent value - Stayed one night. Quality per price can probably never be beaten. The room was a bit small but immaculate: very clean with everything that I may need (no bathtub, which I care not). Free wifi was quite strong. They even provided free cooked-to-order breakfast, which was not really bad! I was in attendance to an event at Daejeon Convention Center which was almost next door. Potential complaint may be the location which is somewhat inconvenient from downtown or subway line. Also, very thin wall so that I could understand conversation of neighbors.
• DanielG810 (6/5): 3 stars, you must be kidding! - Breakfast first: coffee so weak it could be tea, or anything else. Fruit must be unknown in Korea, not one piece in three mornings. Room: for your clothes no drawers, cupboards, closets, only 2 hangers hanging from a tiny wooden bar on the wall behind the door. Only small (hand) towels in the bathroom. Service: call on first evening: "do you have an electric iron?" / 'yes, when do you want it?" / "now" / "we will bring it to your room tomorrow morning at 8" This is a clean and otherwise OK 2-star hotel.
• Eun-gwang (10/5): Located at quiet town - The hotel is located at a quiet town. This can be pros but also can be cons since you have to take a taxi or bus to go out to enjoy nightlife in Korea (not convenient public transportation) . But if you want to stay without disturbed by noise from outside, this is a perfect place. The room is pretty large so you can lay your luggage on the floor as much as you want. Of course the room is tidy and clean and the staff is kind.
