Une erreur a été faite au niveau de la préparation de notre chambre car on avait demandé 2 lits simples et on a eu un lit double. En compensation, l’hôtel nous a donnés une réduction sur leur restaurant. Nous avons été très déçus par le restaurant. La qualité n’était pas au rendez-vous : les plats étaient froids, des morceaux d’os au lieu de viande et un service très lent.

- Kriti (8/5): A quiet accommodation in a beautiful location - The location is great, amongst the greenery, very close to Pienza and Vitaleta chapel, in a tranquil setting surrounded by wildlife (pheasants, frogs, deer, etc.). The view is also spectacular, as the resort is quite high up. The place was quiet in April, with multiple outside areas to sit and relax. The breakfast is superb, with cheeses, eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal, croissant, delicious pastries and a bar where they can make you coffee. They even had oat milk cappuccinos. It also has plenty of parking and accommodating staff. The biggest issue was the water temperature in the shower, it kept going from super hot to super cold without us moving the temperature lever at all. Which of course made it impossible to shower. The room also didn't have any windows, so you needed to either leave the veranda door (which was basically the room door) open if you wanted some air. The room could also have been cleaner.. The restaurant doesn't have a lot of vegetarian options. Lastly, in order to get to the reception/restaurant area from your room you have to walk on the grass, as there's no stepping stones or path, which is a problem when the grass is wet or if you want to wear heels/white shoes/light trainers etc.

Aménagement de la salle de bain dangereux : escalier pour descendre au toilette délicat la nuit. Douche étroite et robinetterie non fonctionnelle et douche écossaise (débit d’eau non régulier)
- Maria Lucia (6/5): Overrated - The view is beautiful and the swimming pool area. The breakfast was very simple and standard. Nothing impressive for the region. Service was very impersonal which contrasted with other hotels in the region we previously stayed. It’s not a hotel for families. We asked for board games or any activity in the hotel, and there was nothing. The menu in the restaurant didn’t offer any proper vegetarian dishes, except maybe a starter. During the day, the hotel is really boring as there is nothing to do, maybe in summer they open the bar and the swimming pool is cleaned and functioning, but this time of the year, it’s just a place to sleep, which is overrated for the price.

Cama e chuveiros excelentes, além do banheiro ser completo com sabonetes de boa qualidade à disposição! Recomendo! Voltaríamos, com certeza! Minha única sugestão é de ampliar o menu do jantar, incluindo uma boa sopa, especialmente nos dias frios como os que pegamos!

- Giampaolo (9/5): Lovely stay - La struttura si trova su una collina raggiungibile da strade bianche, non asfaltate, ma in ottimo stato circondata da ulivi in Val d’Orcia a breve distanza da Montepulciano e Pienza. Offre una vista mozzafiato da tutti il borgo, posteggio attrezzato con colonnine elettriche per ricaricare i veicoli. Ristorante è superlativo con ottimo vino e cibo ma abbastanza caro. In aggiunta vende olio prodotto in casa. Se siete in possesso di autovetture molto basse, evitate. Essendo molto isolato, cenare può risultare abbastanza caro e le strade non hanno illuminazione notturna con possibilità di attraversamento fagiani improvviso.

- Ajay (2/5): Our worst travel experience ever - The location was great, but the way in which the resort is run made it my worst ever on all my travels. On the eve of my booking we were notified that the chef and their assistant were ill and dinner would not be possible, even though the location is out of the way and now had to settle for a charcuterie and cheese platter. We also woke up to no hot water, with no accountability being taken at the property or willingness to accommodate us in another room, or extending our breakfast time. I was even told that due to them being busy with checkouts they had no time to attend to us not having hot water. The grounds were also not equipped for bad weather as we had to trudge through a muddy grass patch to get to reception or bar/restaurant. So definitely misrepresented as a luxury stay.

La stanza era comunicante con altra quindi si sentiva tutto dell'altra stanza, si sentivano tutti i rumori dei tubi della stanza sopra, come scarico e la doccia.

La cena fue muy buena con platos exquisitos. Si bien fuimos en otoño, sería interesante que se pudiera utilizar la piscina si se calefaccionara, o tener otra cerrada para turismo fuera de estación de verano.

- Andrew (9/5): - The property consists of beautifully restored old buildings and is located in a remote and peaceful place, surrounded by wonderful countryside (olive trees, pines and fields). We loved being in the middle of nature. Our room consisted of a bedroom with a wonderful view across the fields into the distance and a spacious living room with a large sofa bed, both rooms were nicely furnished. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and breakfast a good chocie and really tasty. We had dinner at the restaurant. It's on the pricy side but worth trying - we found it delicious! Er also liked the cosmetic products, made in Tuscany, which can be bought there. There was a bit of a damp smell in the bathroom, probably originating from some mould in the shower, which would need to be removed. We could hear a certain amount of noise from the neighbouring bathroom in our living room, but not too bad.

La struttura ha un grande potenziale ma poca pulizia nelle stanze (copriletti macchiati, insetti schiacciati sulle pareti ecc..) i bagni hanno diverse problematiche (es. Si allagavano dopo la doccia..tanto calcare, poca luce nelle stanze, a cena calice di vino con ragnatele), stanze Maurino e Olivastra non rispecchiano le strutture di un resort
