- Caralynne (10/5): Bridport is lovely - It was all lovely. Very comfortable and in a good location. The coffee pods were a nice touch. Bridport was such a lovely place to stay Nothing
- Dean (9/5): Great location. Great apartment. -
- LondonM (10/5): -
- Tony (10/5): Well appointed flat in centre of Bridport - Location perfect in the centre of town. Host extremely helpful.
- christopher (9/5): nice chilled weekend - location was very central, Saturday market day close to west bay and Lyme Regis a short bus ride or car journey away, live entertainment in some of the local pubs and bars, plenty of eateries for all budgets would defiantly return.
- Anne Marie (9/5): Enjpyable home from home feel... - Great place to stay whilst visiting friends, plenty of room, comfortable and clean.
Great touches like a washing machine, and plenty to use to cook with, smart tv, digital radio...and lovely furnishings...would definatley recommend. It has been a little cold so a coupe of blankets would be appreciated, as well as a window hoover as the condensation was understandable for an old building, we have the same at home and would have liked to have tried to look after the window frames as we stayed for a few nights. More towels would have also been appreciated.
It was a little noisy due to the location so bring earplugs...not the properties fault and we managed good sleep as we were on holiday.
- Gill (9/5): Lovely apartment, cosy vibes - The apartment was lovely. Felt cosy. Good facilities. Amazing location. Honestly not much at all, I would only mention the shower head. Needs refitting/ sealing as water comes from the rim. But that said, the shower works well, with good hot water.
- Richard (7/5): Nice place to visit. - Its a nice location. I dont like the breakfast bar/dining stools.
- Arnoldus (8/5): -
- Gary (10/5): Superb place in great location! - Excellent location. Very well equipped and with great communication. N/a
- Alan (9/5): Interesting times in Bridport - Couldn't be more central in Bridport, a mere step to pubs, restaurants and shops. The apartment was very well equipped. Very light and airy and interesting decor. Bed was very comfy. Very fortunate that we were there the weekend of Bridport Carnival and the torchlight parade started right outside, amazing! A teapot would have been appreciated. The coffee making machine like all coffee making machines did not work very well, bring a cafetierre or a coffee pot!

- amy (10/5): The best location and the most beautiful apartment - Just beautiful Nothing
- Maria (8/5): Lovely apartment - Very clean
- Ruth (9/5): Superb - Clean and tidy, well situated Nothing
- Marilyn (10/5): Amazing - Fabulous apartment in the centre of historic rope town. Nothing to dislike.
- Marilyn (10/5): Love it. - Great location. An apartment in a beautiful Georgian property. Far reaching views. Central for everything. Spotlessly clean. Spacious rooms. Very, very comfortable and the quaintest antiquarian bookshop as a neighbour. 10/10 There was nothing at all to dislike. I'm so very glad I chanced upon this gem.
- Anonymous (5/5): Passable - Well presented and comfortable.
Smart and lovely decor and facilities. Both nights sleep were terribly disturbed by arguments, fights and unfortunately intoxicated people from the next door Wetherspoon’s. All happening in the square courtyard area outside the apartment. Unfortunately due to windows, absolutely everything can be heard. That was up until at least 2am each night.
Our last night we were woken again at 5:30am by 2 females in the apartment below whereby we could hear their whole conversation. I don’t know if they were occupants or cleaners. The property unfortunately does not lend itself to being particularly quiet!
- James (10/5): Perfect stay. - Well placed apartment in the town centre, very clean and well decorated. Really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room, great size bed
- Pauline (8/5): Very good - An excellent location in the heart of Bridport.
Stylishly decorated. The exterior door did not lock from inside so anyone could get into the building over night.
A microwave and some oven proof dishes would be useful.
Cooker and hob tricky to use at first.
Parking was in a car park which you had to pay for on a daily basis £6 a day ,free 6pm -8am
- Karen (10/5): We had a lovely stay, thanks. - Beautiful apartment, perfect central location, very warm and comfortable.
- Thanasis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (9/5): Superb - Beautiful apartment in a great position in Bridport. The apartment was very attractively furnished and decorated with good facilities, we enjoyed the Netflix. The bedroom and bathroom are beautiful and comfortable. There are nice views from the flat and great things to do nearby. It was a little draughty in the sitting room and took a while to warm up, but we were there during storm darragh.
- Richard (10/5): So practical and cosy - It’s been a favourite place to stay a few times in bridport and it is very handy . The one thing that could be bit better is the dining area which is slightly uncomfortable to sit at .
- Jim (8/5): Very good - Very stylish and well appointed. Noise from flat above
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional - Location. The stairs and getting suitcase up them
- Trevor (8/5): Very nice, comfortable stay with minor niggles - Central to the town, very easy access to everything. Spacious, light, comfortable bed, big bathroom, modern decor. Proximity to Wetherspoons, very noisy Friday and Saturday nights. Only single glazing, no dishwasher/dish drainer. Dining table unfunctional, lots of antique shops near by to get a replacement, lack of shelf space in the bathroom. Central heating good, but suffers from Water Hammer in the bedroom, had to turn it very low to silence it, this really does need fixing.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good - Good quality furnishings and tastefully decorated. Spacious and comfortable in a central location in Bridport. Would have liked a microwave and also an ice compartment in the fridge.
We were aware before booking that this property doesn't have parking. We found parking in a side street 10 minutes walk from the flat and used the loading bay on arrival and departure.
- James (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable fantastic location. No microwave which would of been handy.
Could do with a extra handheld shower in wetroom.
- Mary (10/5): Would definitely stay again as great location and excellent property. - So clean and thoughtfully designed property , great location. Lack of parking . Although people in the book shop and Art center parked their cars outside the property all day .
- Jeanette (9/5): Superb -
- Lesley (7/5): Well placed to explore Bridport - Great location
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Prefect - Simple as this
A beautiful apartment and actually looks like the actual pics on line
You can see how much effort has been put into this place
Great Wetroom
Really cool place
Prefect location
We were lucky enough to see the market
If people say it’s noisy then book a room in the country
Thanks to you guys
Good luck 🤞
- Peter (10/5): Location in the Key - The location was everything. You couldn't get much more central to Bridport, restaurants and bars were all within easy walking distance. The apartment was spacious and tastefully decorated, my wife particularly liked the fact that there were two basins in the bathroom. Lovely walk in shower and a big bath located in the bedroom. Despite it's central location it was relatively quiet if you ignore the seagulls. We had a lovely break, particularly loved 'The Pursuit of Happiness' a craft beer bar with outside seating and it's own vineyard. The 'Sundorban Indian Restaurant' was sublime as is 'Soulshine' for breakfast. Street market on a Wednesday was very entertaining too. Made it to the 'Hive Beach' cafe for crab sandwiches and chips. Definitely coming back. I would be nitpicking if I did. Somewhere to park the car would have been nice, but I didn't expect it as the info was spot on. I am not going to nit pick is I'm going to leave it at that.
- Jon (9/5): Superb -
- Davies (10/5): Exceptional - It's really nice. bed was comfy, a nice place to stay, and we will be back thank you so much
- Amanda (8/5): Very good - We came to see family not alot to do in bridport ,it was very noisy at night from the pubs but it was a lovely flat ,plus had to move car from carpark by 8 in the morning. Or cost us a lot of money No car parking and noisy from pubs at night .
- Michael (8/5): Enjoyable stay - Good location Quite noisy as being central but got used to it
- Kaushal (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (8/5): Good, bright and well equipped in excellent location. - Bright, well equipped and good location Although the bed was comfortable it was small at 5 feet wide. My wife and I are both slim but found it rather too small.
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully and tastefully furnished, and fabulous location.
- Richard (9/5): Great accommodation for a few days . - Comfy , convenient, ideal location. Breakfast bar/table uncomfortable to dine at.
- Paula (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melissa (8/5): Great base to explore the area - The location was fantastic - couldn't get any more central. Five min walk from supermarkets and restaurants. The apartment was nicely decorated and comfortable. The host very kindly provided non-feather pillows for me when I mentioned I was allergic (even though we offered to bring our own) Towels were too small. Impossible to sit properly at the table/stools as you end up having to sit 'side saddle' which isn't easy when eating breakfast!
- Richard (8/5): Very pleased with the property and would - Clean , well equipped. Comfortable bed and nice shower. Spacious and very central location. A little noisy with the shopping street so close but not really a problem. Didnt like the small dining table which was uncomfortable to sit at.
- Gillian (8/5): Very good - N/a
- Jude (10/5): Time out in the loft, by the sea and in the midst of great little shops and restaurants - Trendy, light, central and comfortable The main front door doesn’t seem to lock properly - didn’t spoil our trip though!
- Jo (9/5): Very stylish apartment in a great location - Very stylish apartment in a great location
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): Excellent - Good place All good
- Paul (9/5): Very comfortable, spacious, clean and stylish. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and highly recommended! - The apartment was absolutely charming and afforded spacious, clean and characterful accommodation. The fixtures and fittings are of a good quality and the bed is extremely comfortable. The dual outlook from the windows is delightful and the central (yet slightly off-piste) location is not only delightful but also very convenient for all that this lovely town has to offer. Furthermore, in advance of our arrival, the owner kindly provided a huge amount of invaluable local information which was extremely helpful! We really loved our stay here and will look forward to returning again. Nevertheless, in an effort to be helpful and totally honest, there were just a couple of very small niggles (!) :-
1) Whilst we knew from the owner's (excellent & very comprehensive) notes that the lock on the communal external entrance door is not automatic, it still did take us some while to fathom its idiosyncrasies! (For the record though, the actual upstairs apartment door lock is normal & easy!!)
We had no problems at all with locking the outside (pavement) door when exiting the building but, if one is remaining inside, it is difficult to make sure that this door is securely locked, as there is only a 'crash-type' opener on the inside (with no traditional handle nor keyhole). So, after some trial & error, we discovered that in order to make sure the street door is properly secure when turning in for the night, one needs to turn the key in the lock from the outside and then pull the door closed from the inside! Otherwise (as we discovered) one can merrily believe that it's locked, when it actually isn't!!
2) It seemed a little superfluous that there is a bath (albeit a very handsome one!) taking up space in the bedroom, particularly when there is a large private and well-equipped en-suite shower room adjacent! Whilst it's a currently fashionable idea (..and at the risk of sounding boring!) we actually felt that it would be more beneficial simply to have a couple of bedroom chairs instead?!
3) Whilst the breakfast table looks very smart, there is very limited space for knees and legs! :)
- O'dell (9/5): Superb apartment Bridport - Lovely spacious apartment in central location for all shops, restaurants, etc. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away.
- Michael (9/5): A very enjoyable stay. - Very up together, clean and comfortable. Dining table and stools.
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable, plenty of space, very clean.
- Edinburghkb (10/5): Wonderful weekend away - Wonderful location and facilities. Incredibly comfy and homely and everything was as we'd hoped. It might have been handy to have two sets of keys but not that big a deal.
- Sfnoebrit (10/5): Great place! - Very much recommended!
Great location - you can't be more central to the town.
Well appointed/decorated. Super comfortable mattress.
Thoughtfully equipped.
Good rainfall shower.
Parking 4mins away - I used the West Street car park £6/day. The JustPark app is more expensive than feeding the machine for longer stays for three days I paid £18 via the machine. App wanted £66. Nothing major. As others have noted, street noise can be an issue so earplugs a good idea for lighter sleepers. I'd recommend the owners see if secondary glazing - at least in the bedroom - is viable.
Signage on the apartment door would be useful as opposed to A & B, and/or clarification within the check-in notification.
A fridge with an ice compartment would be a plus.
- Karen (7/5): We loved a BRIDPORT it is a great place. The flat is very central which is convenient however it is noisy with traffic. - Very smart elegant interiors. No freezer compartment in fridge. Stools and high table not comfortable for eating.
- James (8/5): Very good - Everything inside the apartment Noisy location, secondary glazing would be a huge help
- Annemarie (9/5): Superb -
- Ruby (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional - We loved our stay here. Lovely comfy bed & brilliant location. A little noisy with the seagulls in the morning but obviously out of the hosts control! Didn't stop us from having an amazing stay
- Geoffrey (8/5): Quite good - Noise from traffic 2 flights of staires
- Valerie (8/5): Very good stay love Bridport and West Dorset. - The location of the apartment was very good in the heart of Bridport and it was very clean and comfortable, excellent shower room. There could have been more facilities such as a freezer compartment for ice cubes etc. in the fridge especially as it was such a hot weekend, a microwave and cafetière would have been useful.
- Neville (7/5): Beautifully appointed and very clean, good location for town. - Good if you want to be in a town The high table and stools for eating at were not vey practical to use, design rather than function.
It is a great place if you do not plan to eat in.
- Thomas (10/5): A super comfortable flat, in the perfect location, to explore southern Dorset - The flat is really well appointed with high end furniture and fixings. it is perfectly situated in the centre of Bridport. The flat is very spacious and comfortable. Nothing
- John (8/5): Very good - The size and decor great location. Very difficult to find. No 11 is a book shop..the person in the bookshop said he didn't know about the boutique..but we're some flats upstairs. The entrance is an unmarked door. We were allocated the art studio flat ..but the flats were not named. I think it would be a good idea to put a number and name on outside door. And rather than name the flats with names refer to them as either A or B as this what is on the doors.
- Leyla (8/5): Wonderful stay in Bridport -
- Luc (8/5): Very good - Batteries of the thermostat were empty.
Had to buy and replace them in order to have a working thermostat and some heating.
Some planks of the wooden floor need attention, or they will split in half.
- Anonymous (10/5): lovely stay and the apartment added to that. - beautiful property. spotless and extremely comfortable the location was spot on.
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Location, style, convenience, all around first class Nowt
- Chloe (8/5): lovely stay in beautiful apartment in central Bridport. - central location, nicely furnished, warm, clean and very comfy bed Central location meant it was a bit noisy, but to be expected when you book a property in a town centre. Dining seating a bit uncomfortable.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lara (10/5): Exceptional - This was one of the best places I have ever rented. Comfortable, stylish, spacious, and in a wonderful location. Highly recommend.
- Reeta (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Graham (8/5): Loved being in the centre of things ...until we tried to sleep, & loved the interior design - wonderful interior decoration & colour scheme.
Good lighting
good washing machine & coffee maker
great views. No freezer/ freezer compartment in fridge
No wash cloths for kitchen surfaces
No clothes airer, if you used the washing machine (could have been put up in the shower room if we needed it)
No tea pot
The sea gulls & road noise didn't give us a good nights sleep. (might be better in winter with windows closed.)
