Trevlig och tillmötesgående personal, magisk middag och utsökt vin. Vi valde en svit och den oasen kring huset med sviterna var väl värt den extra kostnaden. Om jag ska komma på något så hade det kunnat finnas kaffe på rummet. Annars finns absolut inget att klaga på.

• Cristina (7/5): - The property is very nicely located, with a panoramic view of the countryside and wine yards, very good breakfast and Francesco is a very kind person The smell of sewage in the room, the bathroom could be renovated. We also had an inconvenience being locked out of the entrance door without key at midnight. The issue was sorted but it would have been better to receive the key from the beginning.

• daaria (7/5): Posto tranquillo e colazione eccellente, anche se stanza e letto deludono. - Ho apprezzato molto la tranquillità e il contesto naturale. La struttura ha carattere e potrebbe offrire un’esperienza davvero piacevole, anche se alcuni aspetti della camera meritano attenzione. In compenso, la colazione è stata splendida, molto curata e davvero gustosa. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e accogliente. Con qualche intervento sulla qualità degli interni e una migliore fruibilità degli spazi, l’esperienza potrebbe diventare eccellente. L’arredamento risulta un po’ incoerente con l’atmosfera rurale, e la qualità di biancheria e letto potrebbe essere migliorata. Il materasso era piuttosto morbido e i cuscini poco sostenuti, quindi il riposo non è stato ideale.

Frühstück und Abendessen immer ein Genuss! Schöne und gediegene Atmosphäre begleitet mit gutem Wein! Sehr zu empfehlen, wir würden wieder kommen! Am Pool waren keine Sonnenschirme vorhanden und die Liegen sind verkommen :( Das Zimmer trafen wir sehr schmutzig an und es blieb auch so. Der Chef hat uns sehr unfreundlich vom Garten verwiesen,weil eine Gruppe kam!!

Situé sur les hauteurs, site exceptionnel, l’hotel a un tres grand charme, l’acceuil est vraiment top, chambre et literies de qualité (clim présente dans notre chambre, bizarrement pas indiqué sur booking). Petit dej. pas pantagruélique mais bien, et il est sur la magnifique terrasse. Piscine « sans enfants » paradisiaque 😁…

Francesco kan jobben sin til fingerspissene, og er svært serviceorientert. Nydelig tre-retters med stedets egne viner som vinpakke på kveldene, lett lunsj tilgjengelig og ikke minst super frokost. Rene, store temarom som prikken over i’en. Fine sittegrupper rundt om på hotellet med nydelig utsikt utover vingården. Også beliggenheten til vindistriktet er bra, en kort kjøretur unna Asti/Barbaresco/Alba/Barolo. Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold, og kommer gjerne tilbake! Ingenting!

The accommodation itself was lovingly furnished, thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. It felt incredibly welcoming and comfortable from the moment we arrived. A special highlight of our stay was the outstanding hospitality provided by Francesco. He was exceptionally attentive, helpful, and genuinely warm-hearted. You could clearly feel that he puts his whole heart into creating a culture of hospitality that made us feel truly welcome and valued. It’s something we will remember for a very long time. I would love to return to Cascina Desderi as a guest in the future and can only recommend this beautiful place to others!

• Claire (10/5): Will be the highlight of your trip - So beautiful, our room was incredible, so spacious and luxurious, there was a beautiful wardrobe which had a fridge with chilled wines from their very own vineyards! The night we arrived there was a dinner with wine pairings served on the terrace, simply amazing. Our host was so accommodating and welcoming, would highly recommend visiting.

Would’ve stayed longer if possible. Breakfast was delicious and various. Also vegan options available if asked. Our host Francesco was amazing. He really made our stay worth it. Our stay in august was in the middle of the local holiday season so there were no dinner option at the hotel. But we were given options of local restaurants that the hotel recommended.
• Chiara (8/5): A pool with a great view! - The best attraction of Cascina Desderi is the outdoor pool with a great view of the vineyards. The staff is very kind and helpful: it helped us promptly solve a problem we reported on the first night of our stay due to other noisy guests. Our room was ample and clean. It was possible to request extra services at the Cascina (massage, small lunches and wine tasting) and the ratio quality/price of the offered services was good. Cascina Desderi is about 12 minute drive from Asti.

I can absolutely recommend it and you are close to Asti, Alba, Turin, etc. We even took our own wine with us. I can absolutely recommend it if you are in the region.

The view over the vineyards and from the pool was beautiful, with a wonderful feeling of peace and quiet. There were attentive and friendly staff on hand and plenty of the wine from the vineyards to be had. The dinner and wine tasting was the best meal we had in Italy, all with the view of the pool and hills beyond. Breakfast was also excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We will absolutely stay here and eat here again. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and looked after. Maybe a more updated bathroom but the charm and character and of the buildings and view from the balcony was exceptional.

Our room was palatial, the grounds were stunning and the staff was exceptionally gracious. Francesco was wonderful. The dinner we had here was one of the best meals of our whole trip, with generous pours of their delicious wine. We would come here again. The shower gel smelled very masculine. That’s the only thing I can think of that wasn’t perfect.

I warmly recommend to participate wine tasting where you can enjoy a three course meal with Cascina Desderi’s own wines. Tasting was very well organized, food and wines were 10/10. Service was amazing during our whole stay. A special thanks to Francesco, you are a true customer service professional! We love you! We will definitely come back here!
• Lindsay (10/5): Delightful gastronomic hotel in its own vineyards with easy access to Torino. - Cascina Desderi is a beautiful traditional Italian house set in its own vineyards. We were welcomed by the delightful Francesco who looked after us throughout our stay. He provides an excellent and personal service to all the guests, is very informative. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast served overlooking the pool and the vineyards beyond and the outstandingly good tasting menu served in the evening with complementary wines produced by the establishment itself. Although in the middle of countryside the hotel is a short drive from Asti and Torino can be reached in half an hour by train from Asti station.

• Frederique (9/5): Beautiful location, excellent service - It was a great stay! The scenery was beautiful. The house overlooked hills with vineyards. The swimming pool was the perfect temperature and very clean. But the most outstanding part was the service: the staff was one of the most friendly, helpfull and hospitable people I have ever met. It really added a lot to the experience. I would definitely recommend the dinner with a wine tasting of wines from their own vineyard. The house is located on a hill. To visit the city Asti you will need to drive 10-15 minutes. This was not a problem for us but it might be convenient to know.

As well as the pizza we ate as a snack in the afternoon. The staff was always very friendly and charming and they did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Of course the swimmingpool was just a dream with this hot weather. I don't know,we liked everthing, it was perfect for us!
• Martin (8/5): Very good - The hotel is beautifully situated and overlooks wine plantations. You can enjoy this view from the whole pool area. No street noises there, just a place to relax. Everybody at the staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was really big, very quiet. What could have been better was the breakfast: The choice is limited, e.g. there is the same marmalade everyday, and had and salami seemed to be taken out of a plastic packaging. Only at the third breakfast, we learned that we could ask for scrambled eggs or a Musli.

• Doreen (10/5): - Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen und trotzdem ist man in kürzester Zeit in Asti. Sie wird sehr sympathisch von Francesco und dem Inhaber geführt. Das Morgenessen Abendessen mit Weinbegleitung
• Verified traveler (10/5): Une belle pause à Asti - Très bon séjour dans un lieu au calme mais pas trop loin de la ville (10min en voiture). Personnel très disponible et à l’écoute. Petit déjeuner continental ou anglais inclus. Seul bémol, le prix proposé pour le dîner (55e) dont le menu ne semble pas composé de produits nobles … nous n’avons donc pas essayé et avons été dîner a Asti.
• Einar (10/5): Cascina Desderi - Oppholdet var fantastisk. Dette var vår andre tur og vi planlegger allerede vår tredje tur.
• Fredrik (8/5): - Supert sted med ypperlig service. Meget god frokost, middag og vin. Meget avslappende og rolig sted i flotte omgivelser.
• Mahssa (10/5): Litet paradis - Det var som att komma till ett litet paradis bland vingårdar. Lugnt och stilla, underbar mat, härlig utsikt och trevligt bemötande av alla inklusive ägarna. Poolen var härlig, rummet var väldigt fint inrett. Rekommenderar detta ställe.

• Jean Pierre (6/5): Une bonne idée de vacances - Endroit magnifique calme est reposant, personnel accueillant, les chambres sont grandes et spacieuse, la salle de bain comprend une baignoire simple, une douche, un bidet, un lavabo, un WC, tous cela est spacieux, un ventilateur au plafond pour avoir de l'air, un mini frigo avec avec bouteille de vin de leur production, tous cela dans un cadre ancien des maisons TOSCANE, Une belle est grande piscine, un petit déjeuner servi très bien, avec le choix du type de petit déjeuner. Un seul bémol le ménage n'est pas quotidien, juste les lits sont fait.
