- Nyamweya (9/5): Superb -
- Waweru (3/5): Poor -
- Jeremia (8/5): Very good - Beautiful environment and very nice staff.
- Heinz (1/5): Bad - After 10km gravel Road, not to recommend for normal cars, we only guest because of renovation. Restaurant nothing available, but the chef made a plan to get as something. Alcohol striktly prohibited, religious place Nothing
- Shamim (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Beryl (7/5): Good - The views The food wasn't up to scratch and the menu was a waste of time
- Kevin (6/5): Good place to crash for one night before visiting Ndare Ngare - Good place to stay when visiting Ndare Ngare the next day (but arrive before dark as the streets to the place are a mess, even with an offroader). Some staff very friendly and the cuisine was nice as well. When we srrived the rooms were clearly not ready and we waited at least 45mins in total to checkin after a long and tedious drive. Some beds had stains and were not clean.
- Evans (8/5): Very good -
- Hans (9/5): Superb -
- Lily (9/5): Very relaxing and convenient for purposes of accessing both Ngare Ndare Forest and Lewa Conservancy. - The location was serene. The views, spectacular.
Continental breakfast was amazing and was served on time as per my schedule. Booking site misled me to believe that the property had a bathtab, which is not true. That was my only disappointment.
- Manish (8/5): Great food, great service, great location - We enjoyed the trip thoroughly, the only setback was that there was no wifi at the hotel. Otherwise we had excellent food, and the view of Mt Kenya from the room was awesome. The hotel is aptly named.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Beware of this hotel - Fraudulent.location. Beware and avoid this hotel. The facilities are not as stated (no WiFi or TV) and the rooms (we had 3 rooms) were awful....dirty, bugs and webs...and septic smells on one room. Owner was dishonest in overcharging for transportation (we had no choice because we were stuck in middle of nowhere).. it is 35 km from fraudulent location shown on map!!!!
- Steve (2/5): Beware...this hotel is a fraud - Worst place ever. Lie and over charge at every turn. Charge for extra water..giving only tiny ridiculous bottles per room each day..Really?! Most important, hotel is NOT in Nanyuki...the map coordinates are fake. It’s in middle of nowhere...10km down and awful road 35 km outside Nanyuki. Plus there is no WiFi in rooms and no tvs as advertised. WiFi in lobby is so weak, doesn’t work at all if more than 2 people online. So sad and frustrating to deal with deceptive and greedy owner. Shame on you Zarah.
- Karen (6/5): Great biew - The staff was great, food was good, and the view was incredible. There is no tv or WiFi in room even though it says there is. There is an 11 kilometer drive on a dirt road to get to the hotel. The road is only suitable for trucks and 4x4s.
