Le bar au rez-de-chaussée est génial pour boire un verre, ambiance sympa. Le petit dej y est servi avec des plats chauds au choix qui étaient excellents ! Emplacement dans un joli quartier résidentiel, parking gratuit, 5 min en voiture du centre d'Aberdeen. Petit dej excellent mais service très long alors qu'il n'y avait pas grand monde (40 minutes pour avoir nos plats)

The ferryhill burger and panko fish n chips were both spectacular. We opted for the breakfast included rate and once again the quality and variety were awesome . Highly recommend staying here ( close walking distance to town centre too an added bonus ) All good

Daar hebben we geen spijt van gekregen. Ook het ontbijt (met extra opties omdat het weekend was) was heerlijk! Enige minpuntje is het kraken van de vloeren, waardoor je de bovenburen hoort lopen.

The room spacious and clean with everything we needed We had a bar meal with our friends which most of us enjoyed. Our bar meal was adequate but some of us would have liked a little more taste. Maybe a more flavoursome cheese in the Macaroni cheese meal or for the chicken pieces to perhaps have been marinated in a sauce.

Great breakfast made to order. Away from the city hustle, yet just a short walk to the centre. There are separate bar and restaurant downstairs, but no noise from either upstairs. And the rooms are warm and cosy.

The room was so clean, modern and spacious, it had everything you could possibly need. The bed was very comfortable. The food was delicious, there is an excellent choice for both breakfast and dinner, we were out during the day but there is a good lunch/light bites menu too. We will definitely go back.

Also the Sunday roast dinner was awesome! Also loved the outdoor patio. Really nothing. Climbing up the stairs with luggage was a little difficult but that's part of the charm of this beautiful building!

Both rooms that I have stayed in have been fresh, clean, warm and cosy - I have visited both times in late November! The hotel is a convenient stones throw from downtown Aberdeen but nicely away from its bustle in a quiet neighbourhood. The food menu is great and tasty - we dined in the evening and for breakfast. The staff are all very helpful and accommodating. The value for money at this hotel is good. I can recommend a stay at Ferryhill House Hotel - I stay at many hotels on business and this is a good all round place to stay! Nothing

- Lewis Donovan (6/5): Disappointing - The breakfast was very good. The whole place seems a little dated now. From awkward steps on the stairs and badly designed door that opens onto the stairs when accessing the guest area to rooms that are in desperate need of a refresh. Some would say it gives the place character but I would say it needs updating and making safe. The floor in the bathroom was lifted in a number of areas which could cause a trip. The floor in the entire room was extremely out of level and the bathroom was at a complete slant. The shower screen was all rotten at the bottom and there was a section of wood in the shower that was soaked rotten. There were cobwebs in and around the shower. There was a large flap above the shower that was rather open and I couldn't tell what it was for but I am sure how open it was changed in my time in the hotel. The panel concealing the toilet system was coming away and damaged. The radiator in the bathroom has now adjuster on it and the wall around it had been slapped with filler and not dealt with. The bed wasn't comfortable at all and moved in the night. I had to move it back in the morning.
- Cha Cooper (9/5): Nice and peaceful location with good restaurant and very friendly staff. - Nice quiet and safe location with garden and good parking place, very kind and helpful staff. Pretty good restaurant, the breakfast was really rich in a real Scottish style. The room was clean and spacious. Thanks for the kind hospitality. No real problems.
- Joan (6/5): Handy place to stay but difficult if you need a lift and a decent breakfast - Renovated old building bedrooms tastefully done and public areas. No lift I’m elderly and was given a room on the second floor. The staff changed it to a first floor room. Breakfast was a strange experience. No breakfast juice, or fruit, porridge brought with no milk. No toast and marmalade offered. Very disappointing.

- Gary (7/5): Third visit to Ferryhill House Hotel, will come back as we have to visit Hospital for scans. - Breakfast was good, served by a cheery waitress. Bar service and waiters in bar very good. The shower was compact, as was the bathroom. The mastic sealant around the shower tray was black and very uninviting. Very disappointing, just a minor detail, but spoilt the whole room. Should check with guests prior to allocating rooms, as we were given a room on the 3rd floor and were 73 and 69 year old pensioners. No lift !
