• Sven (10/5): - Wir hatten die Suite mit der Nummer drei. Sehr schöner Ausblick in den Garten. Sehr großes Schlafzimmer mit integriertem Wohnzimmer und ein sehr großes Badezimmer. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Ambiente. Das Frühstück war jeden Morgen individuell und liebevoll zurecht gemacht. Von der Unterkunft aus waren es zu Fuß 10-15 Minuten in die Innenstadt. War ein sehr angenehmer Zwischenstopp.

• Valerie (8/5): - This property is close to the train station and a short walk to the Christmas Village. Our Rm#3 Terrace was large and airy. Nice to have space to spread out and relax. The breakfast was continental with a coffee machine that made all types. The proprietor was always around but we did not find her to be friendly or an engaging hostess. We would recommend!

• Kevin (10/5): - A stylish villa within an elegant area of the city with great parking facilities and an interesting history all within easy walking distance of the city centre. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. Our room was huge and comfortably furnished with seating area and large bathroom. Lots of extra facilities should you wish to make use of them (pool table, laundry, outside seating areas etc). 5 min walk to train station, giving access to Strasbourg. Colmar proved to be a very convenient location from which to access the Alsace wine route. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It was a great choice for us.

• Brendon (10/5): Beautiful first impression of Colmar - This property was exactly how we expected it to be. So charming, so beautiful and so clean. One thing we didn’t expect though, we didnt expect it to be that spacious and huge which was a pleasant surprise. The room was very well appointed, the bathroom was absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful standing tub, double sinks, and amazing rain shower head with body sprayers jet were such an excellent touch. Florence made our first experience in Colmar delightful. She is very sweet and welcoming. The breakfast was fresh, scrumptious and delicious. We appreciate the fresh local produce served every morning. And the fact that we could use their laundry was a great added bonus. The location was perfect for us. its located in quiet neighborhood and it was an easy beautiful walk to the center of old town. We definitely would love to stay here again if we revisit Colmar in the future. Ps: we arrived late and we were welcomed by an adorable package of Christmas cookies in our room. It was such a thoughtful gesture.

And enjoyed a coffee while looking out on the peaceful surroundings with beautiful buildings. Florence was very hospitable and gave an amazing breakfast- eggs, apricot tart, fresh bread and jams! Covid safeguards were in place. Can’t wait to visit again.

• Jake (10/5): Magnificent - What a lovely property. The building was an absolute gem with a Gilded Age mansion feel. The items that add the most character like the interior woodwork appear original and are in great condition. The updated amenities, like electrical and plumbing, have been tastefully upgraded to modern standards. Our room on the second floor was truly beautiful. The bathroom was extremely nice, which in a nearly 100 year old building is impressive. Our room was spacious. If memory serves me correct, there are 5 rooms (3 upstairs and 2 on the main floor). I wish I could have seen them all, as I am sure they would have all have their own unique characteristics. The location was excellent for our purposes. I enjoy walking, so I liked the 10-15 minute walk to the the town centre where all the restaurants are. Restaurants and stores are not close, which could be a drawback to some. I liked staying in a more residential neighbourhood. The service was impeccable. Our room was always spotless. The breakfasts were satisfying. Each morning there was something new for us to try: eggs done different ways and always great bread and pastries. Florence, our host, was friendly from the moment we arrived and every morning she greeted us with cheer. She offered helpful advice on the area and ideas of where to explore. She was obviously proud of her Villa Élyane. Overall, this was one of the nicer properties I have ever stayed in. I hope to get the opportunity to return and stay again.

We enjoyed a balcony in the quiet and peace of the gorgeous quarter in Colmar where this elgant house is sited. Can´t miss it if you stay at Colmar a couple if days.
• Dan (10/5): - Perfect stay at a beautiful chateau. The location was perfect -- extremely convenient to the Colmar train station and just a short ~10 min walk to the old city. The chateau is beautiful inside and out, it was renovated in 2012 and they did an amazing job! The rooms were modern and comfortable, Air Conditioning worked very well, and the shower was very nice. The proprietor Florence was so nice and accommodating, and the breakfast provided was perfect. Delicious pastries, home-made tarts, meats, cheeses, yogurts, fruit juices, fresh local jams/jellies, etc. Would highly recommend staying at Villa Elyane!
