- Cynthia (10/5): - Our suite was comfortable and spacious and let us have a home-away-from-home while on vacation as a family. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds comfortable, and the instructions clear. We were about a 20 minute walk from the walled city, but found other neighbourhoods of interest nearby. Staying here was like exploring a new side of a city we already loved.

- Erin (8/5): - The apartment was very nice and clean. Had a very nice kitchen which I didn’t use. It would’ve been nice to have some paper towels, coffee, coffee filters and some other hotel amenities. Didn’t like that there was no concierge, the area felt very unsafe with all the homeless people around and garbage. Also, the hotel was very dark in the hallways. It was easy to walk up the hill to get to everything. The bed was very uncomfortable. The sheets and pillows felt of poor quality and I would have liked to have a closet, and luggage rack.

- Lindsay (10/5): - Great unit. Was in the basement but not a problem. Comfy beds and pillows. Great ktchen, washer and dryer. 20 min walk into old quebec with nice scenery on way. Pleanty of places to eat nearby. A few homeless a few streets away but they were harmless. We parked in street behind for free on the weekend and overnight.
- Rachel (10/5): - The apartment was very clean and nice. We loved the individual a/c unit in the bedroom. The bunk beds were not really in a separate room, really just an alcove with a curtain. The kitchen, living room and bathroom were all spacious. Parking was a pain, but it was a nice space and we would absolutely stay again.
- Kai (10/5): - Newly renovated and all new appliances. Very spacious and quiet. 1.5 km to upper town. There’s a parking lot next to it and it charges $20 for 24 hours. You’d better pack your own body wash and shampoo though.

Late in getting access codes emailed out but everything was extremely smooth after that. Would certainly recommend it as a place to stay while in Quebec.

- Julie (10/5): - These lofts are an excellent alternative to a hotel room. They are reasonably priced and have kitchen facilities and even a laundry! The one we stayed in was in walking distance of all the main sights of beautiful old Quebec and walkable to the railway and bus stations. The bus 800 that goes to the falls stops 50 meters always. - Daniel (8/5): Sejour en famille a Québec - Nous avons trouvé dans le lit superposé du bas plein de trucs comme vieille casquette, bouteilles de savons, bouchons pour les oreille et meme sur le meuble tele un restant de kleenex souillés. Les lits superposé sont selon mes enfants pas tres confortable par contre le lit principale lui est confortable. Il y avait beaucoup de Serviettes disponible dans notre chambre pour le sejour cest tres agreable. Endroit silencieux malgre mes appréhensions

Our A/C did not work the first night during the heatwave, but they fixed it the following morning. The paid parking lot was 2 blocks away $20 Canadian for over 4 hours--24 hours. There are steps to enter the building so consider this with large luggage. We would stay again.

- Nathan (10/5): - Our basement suite (LC104) was spacious, comfortable, well appointed and modern. It was a great place to return each night after a cold day out, and included all the cooking equipment we needed to prepare breakfast or dinner. The streets surrounding the accommodation were quieter than we expected, but there are nice restaurants and markets available, and it’s well located for public transport. Some things were missing that we had hoped to see for this kind of accommodation without daily housekeeping, such as dish clothes, paper towels, shower gel and hair conditioner, and a dustpan and broom, though we were able to get by with what was available. We pre-paid our accommodation via Expedia, and were contacted the day before our visit asking for credit card details by phone or email before we would be given any access codes. This kind of communication on such short notice was uncomfortable - more notice and more secure payment methods would be welcome.

It all depend on what you’re looking for. Apartment in general was clean and comfortable.

- Kimberly (2/5): - After I booked, they wanted me to text a copy of my credit card and ID, no place to check in. All the towels were in the washing machine dirty not washed. Ordeal to get clean towels. Room was 28C, only a small ac on the wall that was not the appropriate size for the room. The bunk beds were nowhere near the AC, and blocked by a wall, so too hot.

- Paul (10/5): All good - While the outside could use a wash (it was late winter after all), the high ceilings and modern finishes made for a comfortable living space. Excellent bakery nearby. Centreville was a short walk.

On a main street with frequent bus transportation (one is from the airport bus 80) that passes close to the loft hotel. Modern interior. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bedding. Amazing large loft windows facing boulevard Charest East. Walking distance to the old town. The reception area has a map of the old city and walking routes. Highly recommend to do walking routes.
- caleroy (10/5): - Felt just like home! Really nice loft, area was busy and a bit further away from where we wanted but we got to see the city more. Great bakery near by and a neat place just down the street where we ate, drank, and played board games. Loved it!!

- Melissa (10/5): Pleasant Stay at Charest Lofts - We loved our stay here! We received an email with all the info we needed for a simple “check in”. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our loft was super cozy and had everything we could ask for. Super well situated too - so many restaurants around and a 30-minute walk to Old Quebec. We parked the car nearby (Dorchester parking lot) - around 18$/day. I strongly recommend staying here.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - We thoroughly enjoyed the loft experience. This was our second time. This location, however, has a very difficult loading/unloading and parking situation. Not good. Also, when I needed help with the thermostat, no one was at the front desk and I couldn’t locate anyone on site. I had to place a call and wait. Also, on the morning we checked out, FINALLY staff were present at the front desk. It was pouring rain and I asked for an umbrella. They didn’t have any available for guest use! Also, no help was offered when I needed to briefly park out front so we could pack up the car. I had to speak to a city construction worker, who didn’t speak English, to ask if we could do so. Not an easy task when I don’t speak French very well. In my opinion, the front desk staff, when they did make an appearance, were of ZERO value, while they hid behind their computer screens. Very unacceptable!

The Loft was super clean, had very comfortable beds, quiet and in a great location. There were lots of great restaurants, shops, coffee shops and bars within a very short walking distance.

The beds are very comfortable and the kids love the bunk bed. It is also very close to old Quebec City. But you need to find your own place for parking. In conclusion, it is a great place to stay.

- SH (8/5): - I liked the cleanness, accessibility, parking, and reception. I would recommend to propose the option of parking to the guest online and send them a pdf of the parking permit. It was very difficult to find a temporary parking spot in the hotel's nearby and go to the reception to get a hotel's parking permit. Specially in the middle of the winter and lost and snow on the steets, it was very diffcult situation for us and took time in a late cold evening. I'd wold like also to suggest repeating the wall's hallways. The dark black of loft area does make a streng feeling when you arrive in a new building. However, we loved the design and decorretion of the room.

- Rob (10/5): - Conveniently located to great food restaurants and shopping areas. Whilst it is situated on a main road in Quebec City it did not impact our sleeper comfort levels. Fully self contained unit which was great for preparing your own meals. 10 to 15 minute easy walk to Quebec's historic town and famous Fontinac hotel. Great place to stay.
