• Nadege (10/5): Parfait pour découvrir la très belle ville de Montpellier - La gentillesse et la bienveillance d'Alexandre notre hôte, plein de bons conseils pour découvrir la ville. La chambre et la salle de bain sont très belles et idéalement placé dans le centre historique. Le samedi soir c’est bruyant pour ceux, qui comme moi, ont besoin de dormir dans un calme absolu.

• David (10/5): We would definitely recommend staying here. We will be back. Great place, host and so convenient - First and foremost, our host was incredible. Knowledgeable, helpful and so kind. But then there were the massages.....best massage we have ever had. The only comment would be that if you are elderly and somewhat geographically challenged, there are a few stairs to climb to get to the bathroom. And you need to bring your own toiletries such as any special soap or shampoo/conditioner that you specifically rely on.

• Laurence (10/5): La vie a été belle durant tout le séjour! - La déco originale qui m’a bien dépaysée, la gentillesse du propriétaire, ses conseils pour des coins sympas. J’ai même profité d’un massage qu’il fait très bien. La chambre est bien située près des lieux intéressants et pas loin des transports en commun, le tram est à moins de 10 minutes.

• Bastiaan (10/5): Just amazing! - This the most amazing stay we ever had. The room is tastefully designed and full of pieces of art. Even the bathroom is a showpiece. The location is unbelievable: a medieval house in the heart of the beautiful city of Montpellier. Alexandre is such a natural host; he loves to look after you and to give the best tips for exploring the city and restaurants. The breakfast is just perfect. We felt so welcome and so well looked after! This didn't bother us, but some people may not like to walk the stairs to the bathroom.

• Alia (10/5): What a unique experience! - Alexandre's place was very unique and the location is terrific. The orientation he gave us when we arrived was extremely helpful, and at all times he was available to help answer any questions. Breakfast delivered in a basket every morning is such a smart idea, and the baked goods were superb. We also partook of massages, and Alexandre is very intuitive and his style, though different from our regular massage therapists back home, was both interesting and effective. Highly recommend!!
• Kelly (10/5): Alex was a very cheerful and helpful person. He was eager to help show us places to visit and made sure that we had ever - I like very artsy, quaint places with character of the city. The room was large with high ceilings. I felt like a resident of the city at Chambre d’Autres. It’s a home and not a big hotel so if you like living as the people of the city then you will like this place.
• Jbmoorpark (10/5): Kindest host ever! Unique charm, spacious room, great breakfasts - Alex is a remarkable host! The breakfasts he provides are delicious, beautifully presented and generous. This is a unique, one-of-a-kind place, full of quirky charm. Alex is calm, kind and full of useful information about the city, including excellent restaurants and sights. Alex's apartment is in a beautiful building on a quiet street but just a few minutes' walk from many fantastic places to visit. The guest room is very large with We will recommend this place to anyone visiting Montpellier for the location, the comfort and the experience but most of all for Alex. We have never met a kinder host. I booked 1 massage and it was excellent. Alex is professional and gentle and takes his time. Highly recommend it.

Good location with everything walkable. Call Alex if you can’t find it. Place nextdoor seems to have same number.

• Isabel (10/5): Exceptional - Marvellous! We had an absolutely superbe stay. The house is beautifully decorated with unique pieces and feels very homey and welcoming. Our host Alex also runs his massage business from the property. My fiancé had a deep tissue style massage while I had an energy based massage. We were both left very impressed. A beautiful basket of breakfast was left by our door each morning and Alex went out of his way to highlight places to visit in Montpellier, as well as noting the dangerous areas to avoid (very very much appreciated). Massages, cats, comfortable bed, nice bathtub, super host, perfect location. Tick, tick, tick, tick. We will be booking this property next time we visit Montpellier.
• Małgorzata (7/5): very nice owner, very clean room and bathroom - The owner is a very kind helpful person. Breakfast was very good. Location was ok. Very clean - cleanliness is the most important for me I have a few marks on my calves from insect bites. They are not mosquito bites because there were no mosquitoes in the room. Too far to the bathroom, which is inconvenient at night - I don't complain about it, because this information was given in the offer. However, it lowers the value for money indicator
• Joyce (9/5): A real one off! - We loved the brilliant location - 10 minute walk to the station and right in the old town with lots of good restaurants nearby. We loved the friendliness of the host and his excellent restaurant recommendations - Rosemarie was particularly good and also reasonably priced. Alexander also provided us with a lovely packed breakfast for the last morning, as we needed to catch a train at 7 am. The only downside for us, as we are both light sleepers, was the 5 am collection of bins in the old town... Nothing the host could do about that though!

Beyond providing to the point recommendations for our stay, Alex was always available at any moment we needed him. Strongly recommended
• Allyson (9/5): Superb - The breakfast basket was delightful. The room was cozy and charming. Alexandre came and found me when I got lost getting to his place, which was very kind of him. He also is an excellent masseur, so those are highly recommended. Overall my stay was relaxing, and lovely. Not much. The accommodations were as expected.
• Jacques (10/5): A fantastic stay, worth repeating. - From April 23 to 27, 2024 we were in Montpellier, a beautiful city with a medieval center where there is plenty to see and to experience. We stayed in the B&B “Chambres d'Autres” at Alexandre, in the middle of the historic, medieval center. The stay was, in one word, FANTASTIC. The room was indeed “different”, with antique furnishings and plants, but fully equipped. In short; unique! Every morning Alexandre serves breakfast on your doorstep, after which you can take your time to eat. Alexandre is also a masseur. Rita's reaction to his massage was: wonderful, relaxing and fit for the whole day. We enjoyed 5 days; Alexandre, thank you for the great service and good care. • Eli (10/5): Wonderful stay with a fabulous host and masseuse in the heart of Montpellier - Alexandre is an exceptional and generous host with a beautifully appointed room right in the heart of Montpellier. The space is charming and very comfortable, and the perfect location from which to explore the city and surrounding area. Alexandre also offers a wonderful massage, which you should not miss — it worked out all the tension in my neck like magic! Breakfast was delicious and fresh every day and a perfect way to start the morning. A fabulous host and stay, I hope to return one day, and urge you to do the same! Nothing — everything was wonderful!
• Yanina (10/5): We had a beyond lovely stay in Montpellier, and will definitely come back to stay with Alexandre! - Alexandre brought us a delicious new breakfast every day, and was extremely accommodating, attentive and very helpful. The room decor is fun and the beds are very comfortable. We used his massage services, which were exceptional, as he made us feel comfortable, relaxed and he did amazing work. (We slept amazing after!) His cats are adorable too! You have to manually hold the shower, but it's not a problem.

• Lynn (9/5): Central, clean, unique decor and a friendly knowledgeable French host. - The property is perfectly located in the center of the town and in the beautiful historic district.The host Alex was very helpful providing advice on places of interest and restaurant recommendations. You can also have a massage! My stay included a lovely breakfast each morning with fresh fruit and pastries.
• Sema (10/5): Oasis in the Middle of Old Town - An amazing room that makes you feel comfortable and at home. I love all of the plants that Alex has around. Alex is a wonderful host who gives fantastic recommendations, but is very respectful of your privacy. The breakfast was delicious. It is in a good location, and you can walk very easily to everything, including the main train station. While this place was over budget for me, it was definitely worth it! Nothing.
• James (9/5): We had a great time in Montpellier and would like to thank Alexandre for the lovely stay. - A large bedroom and private bathroom in the heart of Montpellier old town. We were very well looked after by Alexandre, who helped arrange taxis and gave us advice on where best to go. The breakfast is very good with lovely fresh bread each day. The bedroom and bathroom are very characterful and beautifully looked after. The only thing to be aware of is that you cross shared space when going between the bedroom and bathroom.
• Matthew (10/5): secret garden to rest and heal in the center of town. A host with magical touch! - The breakfast is a shocking cornucopia presented elegantly and to your door. Truly, a delight. I HATED that I could stay only one night. This place is a dream.
• Jenny (10/5): The perfect place to stay! - Alexandre has created an exceptional space, the grandeur of the room is the perfect destination to stay in whilst in Montpellier! The location is incredible super easy to walk around and plenty of places on your doorstep to eat and drink. The breakfast that was provided was perfection!! Delicious pastries, fruit etc literally what you dream of when you come to France! We also both booked in a massage, which we both really enjoyed and made our experience! Nothing!

The host has very good communications skills and he was very useful in giving advices about the city, restaurants, touristic objectives. What was outstanding was the fact that you can get a massage session with the host. He was very, very good , a true professional on this. I enjoyed very much.

His place is full of character and personality - Alexandre really puts himself into this place and it’s delightful. There is paid parking a short distance away - necessary as the old town is essentially car free. I think it’s really important to know that Alexandre is a massage therapist, this is a key part of this accommodation offering. His massage technique is his own, and it’s great for people who love a firm massage. I really enjoyed it. It is a handheld shower over bath, but which was novel for a short stay and great for conserving water.

Alexandre proposes massage service: OMG, the best massage ever To sum up: Alexandre is the perfect host, such an amazing person. He created the most charming holiday home. Super special.
• Hsuan-chi (8/5): Interesting B&B with "South of France" feeling - The host is super friendly, the dog is very cute, and the breakfast is wonderful. We were there in early June, and the room is cool enough (no need for a fan yet). The decoration is quite interesting (just like the photos). The TV has a lot of stations, including German and English channels. You will need to take some stairs to the bathroom, and the stairs are a bit "squeaky"
