The place was clean, quiet, and perfectly located — just a few minutes’ walk from Taksim Square, with easy and straightforward access. What really made our stay outstanding was the kindness and help of an Iranian gentleman named Arash. Even though the hotel is easy to find, we arrived in Taksim by bus, and he kindly came to meet us there and helped us get to the hotel. The room had everything we needed, and whenever we asked for something extra, Arash provided it immediately and with genuine courtesy. His local tips and recommendations felt like having our own private tour guide in Istanbul! Check-out was smooth and easy. Overall, both the hotel itself and Arash’s exceptional support made this one of the best stays we’ve ever had in Istanbul. Highly recommended! 🌟

Second apartment was much better, not great condition but at least clean. Ok for the price but with a bit of effort could be much better. Location is good and felt safe.

- SHAMSHAAD (10/5): - Initially surprised with 3rd floor suite with no elevator access. Easily upgraded to another building with elevator. Rooms are tight for space. You get what you pay for! Hassle free stay otherwise. Helpful staff.

Room was cleaned regularly and fresh towels provide. Room on the other is not what it looks like in the picture. It could do with a makeover. - Einar (8/5): Private but centrally located in Taksim - Always a good choice in Istanbul. These apartment suites are clean and well equipped. Very close to Taksim square but still in a private location. Authentic area - other houses are a bit worn down, but a safe street.

Very close to the main attractions, Istiklal Avenue, Taksim Square and Metro station. -40 inch TV with Netflix and YouTube -decent internet connection -small kitchen -staff and cleaning What I didn't like: -On some days in the middle of May the heating was turned on. To me it just didn't feel right in such a warm climate. I had to ask them to turn it down. -It wasn't a problem but having more kitchen utensils wouldn't hurt.

Esittelykuvissa paljon hienompia huoneistoja. Kunnon jääkaappi ja pieni hella. Ilmastointi toimi. Vessa/suihkualue puhdas mutta vessapaperi puuttui, talouspaperia oli keittotasolla ja puute paperista korjattiin heti huomautuksen jälkeen. Sivukadulla ei meteliä mutta rappukäytävästä kuului kaikki, mutta trafiikkia oli tosi vähän. Verhot eivät pimentäneet huonetta. Ei herkkäunisille. Laseja ei tunnettu - pelkät kupit vaikka pyysin lasin. Pesula vieressä. Kauppoja joka puolella. Ympäristö köyhän oloinen. Maksut: majoitus oli veloitettu ennen saapumistani 19:00. Netti toimi mutta ei nopea. Ainoastaan omistaja osasi englanninkieltä, muut työntekijät huonosti. Suihku osaltaan toimimaton - käsisuihku ei toiminut, ylhäältä tuli vettä kiinteästä suihkusta.

- Reina (8/5): Zentraler Neubau - Das Hotel ist ein Neubau und daher sehr sauber und komfortabel. Man ist direkt in der Nähe vom Taksim Platz und der Istiklal Str. Personal ist nett und die Zimmern werden täglich gereinig. Einziges Manko: an 2 Tagen Wasserausfall über mehrere Stunden. Ich würde aber noch mal hin.
- Michael (8/5): Cute Turkish apartment - room was nice and spacious. they keep the apartment warm so it is cozy. Bathroom had a leak but it was fixed the next day. Very nice time. The area the hotel is located in is rather run down but they are fixing up the areas so it will be nicer. In a very good location but if you are walking you need to be in fairly good physical condition as the hills are steep.
- Andrea (10/5): Great stay, highly recommend - WE had a lovely stay at this hotel and really recommend it! It was close to metro/Taksim/Galata towers and very easy to get around. We had a great balcony and fantastic view.The hotel was so nice and provided all things we needed even cooking supplies so we could make a meal in one night. We really enjoyed our stay and the helpful friendly staff.
- David (8/5): Awesome room, sketchy neighborhood - Pros: 10m walk to Taksim Sq, awesome room, very spacious, comfy beds, friendly staff. Cons: can hear people chatting all night on the street, the neighborhood is pretty sketchy. Need to walk past/thru a few dark alleys to reach. Had no difficulty while I stayed there though.

- Einar (10/5): Hyggelig apartmenthotell. - NærTaksim-plassen og full valuta for pengene. Rommet var som en studio-leilighet med kjøkken, TV, sofa og komfortabel dobbeltseng. Rent og hyggelig dekorert. Nabolaget er slitent, men trygt. Kiosk/butikk rett ved hotellet.

- GPE Wales (8/5): Good Location... get what you pay for - Hotel is located very close to Taksim. Which is a little rough around the edges in the first place but very close to bars shops and cafes. The hotel itself is split between 2 locations of the office and another building. Staff in the hotel were very helpful and genuinely nice people. The room was ok, although cleaners had been smoking in there when they were cleaning with cigarette ends in the toilet, also the shower was more a trickle and took some convincing to work properly. Beds were very firm also, air con in the rooms was a plus. Would I stay there again? Yes
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice Room in Tarlabasi! - Me and my girlfriend stayed in the hotel for 2 nights, and it was on all aspects a very pleasing stay. The hotel is not one hotel, but the rooms are suites scattered around the office (e.g. in a side street). The suite was very new, and the comfort-level was equivalent to a good 3-star/normal 4-star hotel in Europe. On short notice, we could arrange for a late check-out and we also could leave our luggage in their office.

Nous avons préféré un appartement dans le bâtiment non rénové car nous avons pu avoir l'appartement au dernier étage (5e) avec une superbe terrasse! Les plus : - une cuisine et tout le matériel (pratique!) - Une réception très sympathique et qui fera tout pour que votre séjour soit agréable - une localisation parfaite à 2 minutes à pied de la place Taksim et de rues passantes proposant pleins de restaurants et de bars - une chambre propre et agréable Les moins: - assez bruyant car beaucoup de bruit venant de la rue - équipement assez vétuste (sdb, chambre assez petite) - pas d'ascenseur pour les appartements situés tout en haut, attention si vous avez beaucoup de bagages!) Je garde un souvenir très positif de cet aparthotel et le conseillerai à mes amis! Merci à toute l'équipe!

- Виктория (8/5): - Мы отдыхали в первые в Butterfly . Довольно комфортный номер и очень чисто . Вся техника работает и даже обогрев в номере есть . Персонал приветливый . По поводу безопасности личных вещей также все под хорошим наблюдений ! Расположен в 5 -7 минут ходьбы от улице Истекляль . От самой центральной улице 2 мин . До площади Таксим также мин 5-7 . Не буду врать расположен чуть в странный квартал но не пугайтесь :) даже ночью ходить не страшно . Если у вас будет тяжелые багаж то осторожно по лестницам :) так как лифта нету в блоке . Но можно попросить персонал и уважительно помогут . И так , всем кто планирует бронировать Butterfly suites я вам желаю хорошого времени прохождении ! Мы остались очень довольны !

- Noha (8/5): Central, easily accessible location - The location is central and close to all means of transportation (buses, metro, airport shuttle..etc). It is more of a room rental rather than a formal hotel service. The rooms are clean but not very well furnished or maintained. The neighbourhood is a little tacky at night.

The hotel is good & value for money. Nothing fancy but none of the essentials were left out.. Really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely visit again if i was making a budget trip..
- Verified traveler (8/5): Suitable for extended stay - This is an apartment home rather than a hotel with comfortable bed, updated bathroom, and a kitchenette. But breakfast is not provided even though we paid more for this place than another boutique hotel in the Istanbul Old City. We arrived for check-in around 9 pm, but had to wait for at least 20 minutes in the office because the room needed "extra cleaning". We later found out some water leaking problem in the shower stall. Since we only stayed for one night so we did not bother with it. This apartment home was next to the main bus terminal and the airport transfer bus, so the transportation was easy. The Taxim neighborhood is a lively shopping district so you can enjoy some last-minute shopping there if you are leaving Istanbul the next day. Overall, I would not recommend it if you are only staying in Istanbul for sightseeing purpose since you could probably find other cheaper better hotels.
- Seb (8/5): - L'appartement est tres bien situé. La place Taksim n'est qu'a 200 m avec sa panoplie de transport pour ce déplacer dans tout Istanbul. De plus, vous etez a 100 m de la tres vivante avenue Istiklal. L'isolation sonore est heureusement correcte pour passer une bonne nuit. La prestation est bonne compte tenu du prix.
- Anki (8/5): Nära Taksin, bussar och Metro i genuin omgivning - Hotellet överträffade min förväntan med hänsyn till priset. Rent, bra service och nära till knutpunkten för bussar och tunnelbana. Kan rekommendera det om man gillar att känna att man är i ett annat land. Ligger bakom stora vägen (ca 50m) och mitt i vardagslivet. Här kan jag bo igen!
- Madda (6/5): very good location - it's an apartment being rented by real state company, good design and very very close to Taksim square and istiklal road. was very good for only sleeping 7 hours, the Real state office guys are very helpful and nice, they speak good english (which is not easy to find) and very welcoming. the apartment (as most of the buildings in this area) is noisy and you can hear music from outside and people talking on the street. if you are looking for a place to keep your luggage and go there only to sleep (with no other expectations) then this place is fine.
- Ernesto (10/5): Great value for money - This is very highly recommended to people looking for a nice place in the heart of a real Turkish neighborhood, as opposed to the touristy part of town (which in any case is just across the road and less than one minute walk). I very much preferred the exotic realness of this popular area to the less exciting and fake atmosphere of a hotel. The little apartment is clean and well kept and the staff very helpful. A cheap shop open 24 hours a day just around the corner is a huge plus. I had a great time. Great value for money
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good in general - It's good and clean , staff were gentel and supportive , BUT one bad thing which is no elevator ,if u have heavy bags height floors will be tough for your family with kids although the staff will help , anyways It's good if 1st or 2nd floor
- Andy (8/5): Economy Suite - We had the 5th floor economy suite. The room itself was small, but had quite a large private balcony to make up for it. Bed is probably too small for two people, good for solo travellers, tight squeeze for a couple. Room was clean and fittings modern. Staff were professional and helpful. There are 5 floors of narrow stairs without a railing to negotiate. Difficult if drunk or with bags. Location is great, not far from the action of Taksim. From the balcony you can just see Istiklal St, which is great.
- Kathrine (8/5): Sentralt, koselig, rimelig og veldig Ålreit - God opplevelse! Viktig å understreke at dette ikke er et hotell i klassisk forstand, men mer en slags leilighetsleie. Dvs at vi leide en vanlig leilighet i en bygård nedenfor Taksimplassen, men vi har ingenting å utsette på det; det var en fin leilighet, rent og pent, godt utstyrt kjøkken, greit bad, lyst og fint og god plass. Eneste vi har å utsette på det var at balkongen som var annonsert var minimal, men vi var jo mest ute uansett. dessuten var det en fin opplevelse å bo i en lokal gate, samtidig som det var så sentralt. Her bor dere med innfødte tyrkiske familier i gaten, og de er veldig hyggelige,til tross for at de fleste ser ut til å leve under svært enkle kår. Mens turistmaskinen taksim ligger bare fem minutter unna. God kombo! Leiligheten ble lett rengjort av utleierne hver dag, vi fikk nye håndklær og dopapir. Utleierne holder til i gaten overfor, kontoret er åpent hele dagen og godt utpå kvelden, og de er svært serviceinnstilte. Eneste vi vil advare litt mot, er å kjøpe utflukter de tilbyr, til sightseeing, restauranter/belly dancing osv. Det er ganske åpenbart at de anbefaler på bakgrunn av avtaler med utpekte tilbydere, som er en ærlig sak - men det er ikke nødvendigvis mest gunstig for deg verken økonomisk eller opplevelsesmessig. Gjør heller research selv og fiks på egenhånd :)
- Hans (8/5): Convenient if you do not like to stay in a Hotel - If someone likes to stay in a Apartment instead of a Hotel, this is the right place. Just 5 minutes from the Taxsim Square and the pedestrian shopping street. However, it is not accessible with cars but from the main street it’s only 2 minutes to walk. Free WiFi is also included in the price. Bathroom is a bit small and there is no elevator.
- Rachael (10/5): Fantastic Apartment - Three of us stayed here and it was AWESOME! The shower was great and we had a kitchen area with enough items supplied. Towels were supplied and replaced once during our 5 night stay. The location is great, just cross the street to the best night life in Istanbul where there are loads of cafe's and bars. Also in this area is a great shopping street with loads of cafe's for lunch and breakfast too. An easy walk to Taksim Square where you can begin public transport to the "Old City" to do the tourist stuff. However, most days we walked down Istiklal Street (which was always interesting) and were at Galata bridge in no time. There is a store right next to the entrance to the apartment that seemed to be open whatever time we needed and gave us anything we needed. Overall I really recommend this apartment. We had our own space and the staff were helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed my time here
