Guest Reviews
- Victoria (10/5): - Everything
- Matthew (7/5): -
- BeckyRH (3/5): - Smelled moldy. Rusty shower head. Nowhere near the quality advertised. This was a one or two star place
- Victoria (10/5): - The staff was nice, room was clean. I would come here again.
- Etheredge (9/5): -
- Peele (10/5): -
- Lowdermilk (10/5): Very quiet room - A very clean room. Such a quiet area. Nothing.
- tenser (6/5): -
- Robert (10/5): -
- David J, (2/5): I will not be staying there again. - Location was convenient. The outside was nice. Dead cockroach in the shower. So we didn’t shower. The room smelt musty and air conditioner was dirty. The couch was stained.
- Jennie (10/5): Very comfortable and very quiet - Close to 95 Nothing
- Chandler (10/5): nice quiet - all great quiet aii good
- Deendre (9/5): Superb -
- Vaughn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tizz (7/5): will stay again if I'm in the area. - Location was great to attend program at Bentonville Battlefield.
With the exception of the upholstered furniture, the room and bath were very clean. Freshly painted and detailed cleaning in the bathroom.
Quiet location and felt safe as I was forced to stay due to heavy thunderstorms, high winds and tornado warnings.
I loved the sky blue towels and bed linens. Much nicer than the usual white items. The upholstered furniture was extremely dirty and stained. Used a towel rather than sitting on such dirty material. It's too bad because the rest of the room and bath were exceptionally clean. I don't understand why the owners left these dirty furniture in such a comfortable room.
- Charlotte (8/5): Quiet, clean, no frills, perfect for those on a budget - It’s an older strip motel, needs a little tlc, renovating. The gentleman that helped us check in was very helpful and friendly. Very quiet area. Our room was clean, a bit musty smelling. There was a bit of mud on the floor, from a recent maintenance visit, I suspect. Comfortable, clean beds, though the musty smell was there too. We visited in February, off season I guess. Most likely the room hadn’t been occupied for awhile. We appreciated the microwave and mini fridge in the room.
This is a good place to stay for people on a budget or who don't want all the noise and lights all night long at the hotels closer to 95. This place is primarily a campground and rv park, looks like it would be fun in the summer. No big complaints. The room was just a bit musty smelling
- Richard (10/5): - Happy to support a family owed business.
- Ericka (9/5): Superb - I did not see that the office closed at 9: 00. I called and said we would not be there until 11:15.
He said he would stay to check us in which was super nice and I thank them very much. There was only one bath towel and no washcloths.
- Kayla (10/5): Awesome stay would definitely recommend this motel 10/10 - We loved the long stay! Very peaceful & quiet place to stay definitely would stay again! Young man checked in with us everyday on our necessities & provided us the whole stay with what we needed! I would recommend this motel over any others! Didn’t like that the bathroom was so small & door was right at the toilet!
- Sheren (7/5): Good - Wanted to buy a T-shirt but no one responded when I rang the doorbell.
- Sandi (8/5): - Fairly clean. Nice people.
- Ashley (6/5): It was okay - The price waa good, the location was quiet and I like they don't ask for a deposit. The lack of TV channels. Staff was unwelcoming. Despite all the activities they listed, I didn't see anyone out doing anything. The .25 cents for five minutes dryer. The washer price is cheaper than the wash house, but if you value your time, it's probably best to avoid the need to do laundry there at all.
- Gordon (9/5): I would stay again - Very nice little motel. Little dated is all. Everything else was great.
- Cameron (4/5): - loved the quietness & the little grass area outside with picnic tables & a little play area for children made it even better. loved the vibes
- Kenny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leslie (8/5): Very good - Nice, clean place to stay Wouldn't give us an extra hr late checkout and we stayed 2 nights
- Nesbit (8/5): Very good -
- Myrna (7/5): I would probably stay again when I am down that way. - I liked it it was easy to get to. It was close to restaurants Etc and things to do. I did not like that when I open my door all I smelt was cigarette smoke. I could not leave my door open because the smell would linger into my room. I could not sit outside my room on the bench provided because of this.
- Willis (8/5): Very good -
- Middlebrooks (1/5): Bad - Location Dirty. Had to empty my own garbage. Ran out of toilet paper and had to ask
- South (7/5): Good -
- Suprina (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - old but kept clean nothing
- Eugene (9/5): Superb - easy on them off the interstate
ample parking for my trailer
Old style motel, but it work s
- Anonymous (6/5): Pleasant - Location No amenities; no extra locks on inside of door for protection.
- Charlotte (9/5): Nice little roadside motel run by nice folks. - A little roadside motel, on a fairly quiet road, close to Smithfield. Rooms are clean and comfortable. No frills but everything you need. Very quiet at night for a restful sleep. A very good alternative to the big hotels in town. Very friendly, helpful staff, as you can expect from most folks in North Carolina. Support a small local business instead of a big chain hotel. Room smelled a bit musty, otherwise no complaints at all.
- Kiwon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sunmoon (1/5): Bad -
- Brian (9/5): Nice older motel, clean, comfortable beds, we would stay there again. - Comfortable beds but note they are only full size beds, not Queens. So two in the bed might be a little cramp depending on your size! Bathroom is small but fine, shower was good. I would definitely stay there again. Friendly staff. A few minor maintenance things could be done, could use a hook in the bathroom, could use a small shelf by the tiny sink. But for a 1950s/60s motel it was in good shape with owners that take care of it. As I said I would stay there again.
- Alan (9/5): Superb -
- William (2/5): Rats, mice and bugs - Rats/mice infestation. Rats ate through my power code to my. Bugs in room. Absolutely disgusting! Do not stay here!
- Rhonda (8/5): - I loved it
- Dwight (8/5): Whats not to like! - Very clean, inexpensive and most of all friendly!
- nancy (8/5): - bathroom was very small but i wasn't staying more than the 2 nights
- Warren (6/5): - The room was dank and musty.
This is a work in progress.
I believe this family will turn the corner soon.
Refurbishment is being done.
- Al (4/5): - The place is run down, clean but very patched together
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Able to keep room temperature exactly as I like.Would like a light control separate from fan — cold taking a shower. For your next electrical update
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A big high five!! For an overnight stay and off the interstate. Quiet, peaceful stay, with hometown cooking and Mc Donalds 5 minutes away. I will be back. Peaceful stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Short get away. - The room was clean. The facility is quite old so your room is small. We were told it dates back to the 1950's. The soda machine outside our room did not have labels to indicate what soda you would receive when you pressed a 'black' button. The beds were too hard for our comfort. There was no vanity in the bathroom and only a shower. The office/camp store is very small. The small office is where the 'free breakfast' was to be offered which was coffee and danish. There was no place to sit down in the office. The staff in the office was very nice and the check-in was fast. We checked out early, leaving the key in the drop box outside the office door.
