- Nseabasi (10/5): Absolutely Amazing Stay – Highly Recommend! - We had such an incredible experience staying at Shining Diamonds. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel so welcome. The couple running the place are genuinely kind, friendly, and very accommodating — they even took time to chat and connect with my kids, which meant so much. The room was spotless. The bedding was clean, fresh, and very comfortable, and the entire space was well put together. The bathroom was sparkling clean with all toiletries neatly arranged, which really stood out to me. Everything just felt organised, peaceful, and well cared for. We also loved the little touches — there was a smart TV with Netflix, and a nicely fitted wardrobe which made settling in easy. The environment itself was calm and family-friendly, which is exactly what we needed. Location-wise, it was perfect! Coral Island is just a 5-minute walk away, along with other fun amusement spots for the kids — so everything was convenient and enjoyable. One thing I have to mention — the aroma of the breakfast was absolutely breathtaking! We didn’t include it in our booking (which we definitely regret), but just smelling it told us we missed out on something special. And to top it all off, when we accidentally mis-booked our taxi while leaving, the hosts kindly offered to drop us themselves. That level of care and generosity is rare — I’ve honestly never experienced hospitality like this before. This place truly has everything you need, especially for a family stay. I can confidently say we’ve found our go-to place for future visits. Thank you for such a wonderful experience — we will definitely be back! 💛 Nothing to not like

Our room was clean, and the bed was really comfy. The shower worked great. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Great location, and I would definitely stay again. Just needed a long mirror.

The breakfast and service was top notch The room was very clean and the B&B is close to Coral island which was perfect for the kids. We parked at the multi story car park which is very secure and just at the end of the road. Everything was superb

I would deffo stay here again and I would recommend it to. Only thing that I would have to say is that the beds n pillows are abit hard to sleep on but each to your own on that one haha.

- Maidelene (10/5): Great accomodation for familes 🌸 - Shining Diamond is a comfortable place to stay away from home. The place is located 5 mins walk to town and all Blackpool attractions. The rooms are clean, well lit and the owners are very keen to details. There’s a kettle with cofees , teas and milk with cups and teaspons. Clean glass for drinks. We can see the view of Blackpool tower in our room and its beatiful at night. It has wifi facility as well. They also serve delicious breakfast and we tried their tikka dish for dinner and its delicious!! The owners are very friendly and hospitable. Great for a family stay and we highly recommend the place :) we will definetely come back :) The wifi signal in our room is weak however we use the room to sleep and if I need to use the wifi the dining area has a very good signal. I am in 3 network and i have great signal everywhere in the property.

I liked that you got to choose the options for your breakfast, the room I chose was a small but had everything I needed within reach. Bed was very comfy as my 4 year old said and the room was lovely and warm. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating and breakfast was worth every single penny and more. Within walking distance of all places I wanted to go. No dislikes.

Dawn went that extra mile making sure we had extra toast, more tea & coffee and letting my daughter add on a sausage for the following morning there really was nothing they wouldn’t do for you! Saturday night around 2 in the morning we were woken up by the man in the room next door banging on his door and shouting for week over and hour trying to get into his room! Me husband asked him if he could keep it down as he has woke our daughter up and she was scared of the screaming he did apologise but 5 mins later it just carried on. Obviously we know we’re in Blackpool and people go out drinking but it’s not good when you’re up with an 8 year old being scared!

We booked room only as breakfast wasn't on due to it being a quiet time of year but we have heard amazing reviews on the breakfast here. We will definitely be back again next time we come to Blackpool and we will defo be trying the breakfast next time!

- Piers (10/5): The Shining Diamond is a hidden gem that does Blackpool proud - A clean, very well maintained gem of a property, in the centre of Blackpool, within easy walking distance of the beach, Tower, amusements etc. Comfy bed, friendly hosts, very tasty traditional English breakfast. Steve and Dawn clearly care about providing the best service, and were busy replacing all the perfectly fine dining room chairs with even better ones! A different room at the Shining Tower was on offer for a lower price on the day than we had paid in advance, and I wish we had paid for the breakfast as part of a room deal, though this was certainly worth £8 per person with good produce perfectly cooked. It would be good to have a full-length mirror in the bedroom to help before going out. Blackpool was bitterly cold and rainy at the time of our visit at the end of March, and the wind carried off hats and scarves, but this was not unusual at a Northern seaside resort. The B&B was reassuringly warm and solidly built. Overall, no complaints!

The beds were comfy and the breakfast was lovely. - Not too far from the amusements, town centre and only a 5-10 minute walk to the train station. Host was pleasant and overall the place was clean and tidy. Family room we stayed in was a little on the small side if I had to pick a fault, but having said that it didn’t really affect us as we only needed to sleep there as opposed to spend all day in there.

- Ian (10/5): Amazing stay a little gem of blackpool - Amazing b and b in the heart of Blackpool. A stones throw from the multistory secure car park. Hosts could not be more welcoming. Room was clean and overall feel of the place was that it was well looked after with money being spent in the right places. Nothing much, rooms are small but that is standard for Blackpool and we have certainly stayed in smaller when visiting.

Up among the best we have stayed in in Blackpool. - Very good breakfast, our lovely hosts Steve and Dawn took a lot of trouble to ensure we were catered a meal to suit my diabetic wife. Good location just a few minutes walk from town centre and promenade. Close to main carpark, although Steve managed to find us a parking space near hotel which was handy. Comfortable bed. We were visiting friends in Blackpool and this is a good B&B as a base for a visit. A little more space for clothes storage would have been helpful.....my wife takes a lot of clothing away with her! But it was adequate.
