Black tub always looked dirty. No safety grab bars. Takes 20 minutes to fill tub. No view. Corridors are covered but open to outdoors. No lobby seating.
- Yoko (8/5): Mimaru Suites delivers consistent quality and service - Fairly good location near Ueno Station. The layout of the room is comfortable. Finishes, furniture and materials used are better than most. Housekeeping is does a good job and they are very generous with providing towels. The hallways are covered but exposed to the elements which is a bit strange. The black bathtub is the worst of our 4 week trip and the room is too dark. It takes a very long time for the tub to fill and always seems dirty. There are no grab bars for safety. The beds are uncomfortable.

- Krishna (10/5): - Very spacious rooms which is a rarety in tokyo. Very clean and super comfortable for a family of four. The mini kitchen and dining area were an added bonus. Ideal for vegetarians or those who want to cook instead of eating out every meal. Induction stove, pots, pans, cutlery, hot water kettle were all available in the room. Rice cooker was available on request at no extra cost. The location was ideal as the Ueno metro station was just a couple of minutes away by walk. Many convenience stores like 7-11 and Lawsons were nearby. Ueno park, museums and many other attractions were all within walkable distance.

Very good beds, the room had everything we needed and the staff was very helpful. Very quiet family friendly walkable neighbourhood. Short walk to ueno train station, cafe, restaurants and stores. And easy to walk to ueno park.

- Evan (7/5): Mimaru hotels are great for families and this one was spacious, clean and comfortable, though we would have liked more n - It was clean, had more room than most in Tokyo. The staff were accommodating and spoke English. We were in a funny L-shaped room and didn’t have windows we could look out (frosted) so in winter it felt quite closed in. The hotel itself has a small footprint and the rooms are actually situated around an outdoor staircase so you are straight out into the cold when you open the door
