• Dietmar (8/5): Ganz tolle Anlage von der sowohl Stellenbosch als auch Kapstadt gut zu erreichen sind. - Sehr gute Ausstattung, kleine Anlage, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen. Unterkunft ist großzügig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war enorm üppig und reichhaltig. Die angebotenen Backwaren hinterließen einen eher „ zähen „ Eindruck.

• Achint (10/5): Perfect Honeymoon Stay — Peaceful Luxury in the Vineyards - We stayed three nights in a Luxury Lodge and it became one of the most memorable parts of our trip. The lodges are set deep inside the vineyard, so from the moment you arrive it truly feels like living in the middle of a wine estate. Driving through the property you pass rows of vineyards, the cellar and a small pond before reaching the beautiful pool area overlooking the valley, which quickly became our favourite place to relax during sunset. The lodge itself was exceptional. The bed was extremely comfortable and unusually large — as someone who is 6'1", I often find hotel beds a bit short, but this was the first time I genuinely missed a bed after leaving. The bathroom is spacious and modern with a large bathtub perfect for relaxing. Everything you might need during your stay is thoughtfully provided, and the lodge was spotlessly clean, with housekeeping refreshing the room while we were at breakfast. Even though we don’t drink alcohol and skipped the wine tasting, the estate was still a wonderful experience. The lodges are well spaced and very private, which made it perfect for our honeymoon. The pool and sun loungers are great for enjoying the vineyard views, and the quiet surroundings make for beautiful starry nights with almost no light pollution. A very special mention goes to Jacqueline, whose warmth and genuine hospitality made the stay feel incredibly personal. She went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Since we don’t eat meat, fish or eggs, she thoughtfully arranged vegetarian options for breakfast and even found eggless croissants and special pastries for us — such a kind gesture that we truly appreciated. This stay was particularly special for us because it was our honeymoon, and I had spent nearly a month carefully choosing the right places as a surprise for my wife. Aaldering not only met those expectations but completely exceeded them, and it turned out to be the perfect ending to our trip. I had only 3 days

Завтраки были изысканные. Особо хочется отметить хозяйку винодельни Жаклин. В разгар сбора урожая винограда она успевала отвечать на все сообщения и заказала цветы и подарки на день рождения жены. Очень понравилось! Очень рекомендую! Все понравилось. 10+++.

Die Ausstattung ist perfekt und es wurde an alles gedacht. Traumhaftes Frühstück- besser geht es nicht :-) Jacqueline hat uns verwöhnt (u.a. mit eigenem Wein) und mit sehr vielen Tipps unterstützt. Wir hätten uns keine bessere Unterkunft als Abschluss unserer Südafrikareise wünschen können und sind nur schweren Herzens nach Deutschland zurückgeflogen. • Patricia (10/5): Wunderschöne familiär geführte Lodge mit toller Aussicht - Die Aaldering Lodge ist ein charmantes, familiär geführtes kleines Refugium, das mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet ist. Jacqueline, die Besitzerin ist zuvorkommend und unglaublich sympathisch und macht alles damit die Gäste sich wohl fühlen. Unsere Suite war sehr komfortabel, großzügig und makellos sauber. Die Weine von Aaldering super lecker. Bei unserem nächsten SA reise kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder. —

Super ausgestattet, harmonisch abgestimmt und sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Personal. Zur Begrüßung gab es auch Weinflaschen auf dem Zimmer inclusive. Auch ein Weintasting war inbegriffen. Sehr guter Wein. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und bemüht einen jeden Wunsch von den Augen abzulesen. Viele wertvolle Tips bekommen. Ein Frühstück welches sehr lecker, frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet war! Der Piepton des Gabelstaplers beim Rückwärtsfahren am frühen Morgen.

Die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung von Stellenbosch. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft. Wir kommen wieder.

Stellenbosch or neighbouring vineyards are easily accesible by car or Ubers. The complimentary Aaldering wine is also a huge bonus, espcially because of how nice it is. Hope yo visit again one day.

• Shannon (9/5): A gloriously peaceful and quiet hideaway. - I stayed at Aaldering for five days whist I was attending a workshop just outside Stellenbosch. I wanted to stay somewhere quiet and cosy and it looked perfect. The staff were absolutely delightful and Jacqueline is the perfect hostess. I was sick with the flu and her care and thoughtfulness were so greatly appreciated. The cottage was perfect for my needs and the sunsets and view are out of this world. Sitting quietly on the patio, listening to the birds at sundown was heavenly. I would love to visit again with my husband in the summer to enjoy the magnificent pool and the peacefulness. The weather was quite fresh for two days and I found the tiled floor a bit chilly. It would have been lovely to have the fire going, but I was not comfortable making an open fire indoors with the thatch roof. If assistance was offered I would have been delighted! I had to leave early every day and breakfast begins at 8am so I sadly didn't have the time to fully enjoy what was on offer which sounded delicious. Fortunately Jacqueline told me about a shortcut and provided me with a remote for the gate on a private road which allowed me to miss the traffic! Not only was it quicker, but it was a beautiful and stress-free drive; the perfect way to begin the day.

• Elizabeth (10/5): We were asked by the owner to be as critical as possible as they only get “excellent” reviews, but there really isn’t an - Absolutely perfect for a weekend away from Cape Town! The owner, Jacqueline, was present and very friendly and helpful. Suite was spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Beautiful views and a huge pool - great for anyone who wants to do laps. Breakfast was also excellent and plentiful - lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, large selection of breads, eggs & bacon, fresh orange juice and coffee. The complimentary wines - 3 bottles (2 white and 1 red) - were also very enjoyable, particularly sitting out on the patio watching the sun set over the beautiful valley. Great proximity to Stellenbosch and all its amenities. Staff were lovely, security good and visible.

The pool is of nice size, with also the beautiful view. It is close to Stellenbosch (Uber was 70 rand to city centre, but would recommend to support the local taxis). A hearty breakfast was freshly made each morning with our choice of egg preparation. Easy drive to both Stellenbosch and Franschhoek to visit vineyards. What makes Aaldering even more special is the lovely Jacqueline. She was delightful to talk with and made sure we had everything we needed. • Leila (10/5): Stunning property, lovely staff and great location - Aaldering is beautiful and very well looked after, staff are lovely and very friendly. We were given three bottles of their own wine to enjoy. The rooms are very big and clean. It's also nice that there's only three rooms at the whole property so it's never overcrowded. Nothing really, can't fault it. There was a problem with our fire in 'Alejandro' so I wouldn't suggest using it.

It is a 7 to 10 mins drive to the centre of Stellenbosch, about 30 mins to the airport of Cape Town and about 1 hour to the waterfront of Cape Town. Everything was just perfect - the wines in the kitchen, the size of the lodge, the personal touch and welcome by the owners, the flawless service, the exquisite breakfast ….

And the service and vine of course! The thatched roofs always have a particular smell which is not necessarily bad but you should know that.

• Vivi (10/5): Incrível - Simplesmente maravilhoso! Rústico chique. Quarto super espaçoso. Na verdade um super quarto, banheiro com pia dupla, quarto de banheiro separado e chuveiro gostoso. Tem uma sala com lareira e uma mini cozinha equipada. 3 vinhos da vinícola da família na adega do quarto e delicioso. Café da manhã que nos atendia exatamente como fazemos em nossa casa: ovos, iogurte e frutas. Tinha muitas opções de pães mas nós não temos o hábito. Como nosso voo era as 6 da manhã e saímos às 3 da manhã, prepararam gentilmente um lanche para levarmos. Há uma piscina de borda infinita linda. A vista do por do sol eh linda. Experiência nota 1000. Parabéns Jack e Aaldering family. Obs: hastearam a bandeira do Brasil em nossa homenagem. Achei muito cuidadoso e gentil.
