• Yu Qi (6/5): - The hotel seems understaffed and in need of a lot of maintenance. The receptionist that was working when we checked in (around 7pm) seemed like the only staff on site. On check-in, our room was missing toilet paper, tissue, soap. The slippers were dirty, but most importantly, the safe was not working. The receptionist did her absolute best to solve our issues, but she wasn't given many resources. Also, the hotel is very close to the airport so expect to hear airplanes from around 7am-1am.
• philspip (2/5): disgusting - it has got to be the worst so-called hotel in lovely Chiang Mai, firstly all the hotel s in the world with 3 stars or above speak some English the receptionists here speak none at all they do not even convert for you,just look at you with no smiles at all, this is all staff,next everywhere is DIRTY big time the swimming pool and the area is filthy you go to the washing area and dust everywhere the corridors are never swept clean, the so-called hotel is on the runway of CM airport so what with the planes, the maids slamming doors and the maids bringing their children into work screaming all day long, then you have outside your room a young man with a leaf cleaner the engine goes on fo 5 hours a day it is impossible to rest, relax, or sleep in the room the room phones are a wast of time, you name it in this place it is bad but the owner MRS.ARJIN YANTAPANIT just wants your money, SO PLEASE AVOID THIS DIRTY HOTEL AND pay for many better places in Chiang Mai its a lovely place to visit
• Nunthicha (2/5): Could anyone tell me I just checked-out from 3 star hotel? - I delivered my own parcel and they kept me safely. This was nice service but just the only one thing I appreciated, for more please read below. I used to stay at 5 star hotel but this place does not deserve this phrase at all. Firstly, I thought it was cheap price due to COVID-19 situation that's why I decided to stay and finally I knew I was deceived by (some) previous positive feedbacks. I booked a room through Agoda and it referred that this is 5 star hotel but it is definitely not! Let's skip about the star quality but overall hospitality quality instead ; 1. Poor guestroom cleanliness : plenty of blood stains on bedding (also seemed on wallpaper I thought) and dust in 'ALMOST' every inch of room, especially found old dirty cotton buds with old tissue paper (might from an old guest) in a restroom bin. Front desk girl staff responded by apology when I informed and 2 maids went to clean by I reminded the problems again they said only (in Thai) "okay, will changed a sheet, also a trash bin." 2. Musty smell from bathroom and bedding. 3 . A lot of house lizard poops at balcony, also balcony door could not be locked properly. 4. A/C was pretty cold That's tge most I loved staying there 2 nights but still had a problem since made noisy all night and my problem solution was turning it off! I could not tell any staff since there was no one by the lobby at night. 5. I did not watch any TV programme since I was afraid that if find any problem from it again because every experiences I faced here were enough! 6. Electric kettle got water inside oh! it was not enough cleaned. Thanks god for blessing me faced these experiences! If you find good memmories here is a lucky. Further advice from me : please earn a bit more budget to stay in a better place. Trust me!
• ZaitunOlive (6/5): 1 night transit - Agree with many stayers that this hotel is not 5 star. 3 star the most. When i arrive at 1530hrs, there was only 1 receptionist. I was struggling with my luggage, he didnt even help me hold the door. If u are out sightseeing most of the time, the price is consider cheap. I prefer spacious room. Pros Near airport Spacious room with balcony Bed was good, not springy kind Quiet beside the 6am-midnight plane taking off A freaking big fridge (not mini bar) Functional and practical room. Walking distance to 7-11, pharmacy, 2 restaurants Thai and westernbreakfast Near mountaineous area. Super cooling at night and morning Nicely decorated external building structure Cons Aircon super noisy, unable to control fan mode or maybe my room is spoiled Nothing to walk around vincinty There is only 3 gym machines next to the pool Pool has many fallen leaves Not much security. Anyone can enter the main building No bell boy Phone nog working (need service must walk to lobby) Too many stairs from front porch. Lift also has some height making wheel luggage difficult to go forward.
• danaiya1 (8/5): Big room with comfort bed - Choose the room at the far end from the pool, it helps with lesser noise from the airport. There are capsule coffee maker and tea maker in room. Big fridge, and plenty of choices of amenities. Bed and mattress are comfy.

Hotel itself ....very thin walls ....noisy all night ......could here some sort of motor starting up every minute or so .....all through the night Breakfast was average at best ....usual fair ...but no pastry or anything Coffee was brought to the table , but then you had to get up and serve yourself from a communal sugar pot and milk jug ....very odd . It's an old building that's had cladding screwed into it to make it look new . Room decor disappointing ...peering paper...bathroom doesn't match the description at all as we'd upgraded our room .....only 4 poster different I think Don't stay here if your a light sleeper

• heygauthey (10/5): great hotel - killer breakfast - great hotel, super cool and great breakfast. coffee, croissants, toast, egg station, salad, fruit, cereal etc etc. loved spending time in the breakfast area, very nicely done place inviting you to sit and relax while you eat breakfast and sip your coffee. rooms are good, spacious, good bathroom. no complaints. pool is good too, right next to the airport, so it's a bit noisy, but that's fine. gym is very minimal, outdoor right next to the pool. this place is great is you have a car since it's a bit outside of the main places of CM, but there's free parking and it's easy to find. will definitely consider again when coming to CM.

• Mrs Grace M (6/5): Do not stay here for its proximity to airport - Stayed here before going to the airport for an early morning flight. Sadly despite being right next to the airfield you get all the disadvantages of being next to an airport (very loud as the plane lands) and non of the benefits as it still takes 20 minutes to get to the airport so would be better to stay somewhere else as Chiang May is so small. The swimming pool was filthy and the 'gym' was a few pieces of equipment next to the swimming pool. The equipment wasn't plugged in so wasn't really working. The restaurant at the hotel was okay.

• SigneC67 (4/5): Not worth the money! - The pool is set up to look very nice and comfortable, but me and my friends were absolutely shocked when we saw it... First of all it was totally green and filled up with leaves. No-one was cleaning it and the areas around where dirty as well. On our first day at the hotel the pool was closed, we thought that it was because of the green and dirty water. So we went down to the staff and asked them when the pool will be open again. They answered: "Tomorrow it will be open".. And the next day the pool was open, but nothing was changed.. The water was still green and filled with leaves and other dirty things.. Very disappointed experience, we where looking forward to a nice and relaxing time at the pool, but since it was so dirty, we stayed in our rooms..

Frühstück lecker und abwechslungsreich, z. B. frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten ein Problem im Zimmer mit einer losen Handtuchhalterung und einer ausgehakten Gardine. Haben dem Zimmermädchen einen Zettel und Geld aufs Bett gelegt. Leider wurde beides erst repariert nachdem wir abends ein zweites Mal darauf hingewiesen hatten. Sonst war alles bestens.

I went to the pool, and when I returned, housekeeping had come and made the bed, although I did not leave the “please clean room” sign on the door. When I returned, my bag was gone. It had a lot of money and my bank card inside. To be on the safe side, leave your valuables in the lock box provided.

• peppermintpatty312 (6/5): Bittersweet - The photos for advertising are very great, realistically is not as amazing. The staff was friendly and trying their best to be helpful (at least 2 workers were). It is very close to the airport, not too close to Center City. Staff hardly speaks english which makes communication somehow hard. The restaurant closes very early and there is not much around. They called Mc Donald's and Pizza for us so we could actually have dinner at 930pm. The place is under construction and I bet it will look great in a few more months but right now it smells like paint and construction materials. The pool didn't look clean and the room service didn't even finish making our bed properly (or they didn't care).

Yes, I could hear the noise from the plane...but only up until 11pm (which I was still up and removing my make up in the bathroom) and in the morning from 8am (I think) (which I was sound asleep, so I couldn't hear a thing). Well, with THAT PRICE, I can definitely 'handle' the noise from the plane, but I really appreicate the heads up from other travellers' reviews. Very helpufl! The only thing that this hotel needs to improve is the bathroom --- the glass door needs to be extended --- water from shower will splash out FOR SURE! Plus, the base of the water tap needs to be fixed, it was loose the whole time!

Breakfast was good mix of Thai and live egg station, plus usual cereals and breads etc. Was worried due to other reviews on location - but this didn't bother us. Plane noise is loud and frequent, but didn't bother us - got used to it quickly. Taxis to centre cost about 89 baht if you use grab - easy and cheap.

• 566RobertMcC (6/5): Difficult Hotel to Review - The problem was that my travel agent booked us into this hotel for a special two week holiday and it definitely is not that kind of hotel. I will try to explain Positives a) The staff are excellent, very very friendly and exceptionally helpful, especially reception staff b) The reception and restaurant area is new and very nice. It is a nice relaxing area to have a good breakfast c) The rooms are refurbished (this is where there is some confusion as the hotel is not new) and ok but again for a long stay there is zero area for storing clothes. Negatives a) This hotel isn't just near the airport it is practically on the airport. If you look over the fence at the pool you can see the end of the runway. With commercial and military aircraft taking off and landing from 6.00 until 24.00 it is really noisy b) The pool is set up to look nice rather than be comfortable, there are only four beds and they are the most uncomfortable I have ever come across. Again for someone who was looking for a special vacation with some relaxing by the pool days, this was a problem. c) The hotel is situated a long way away from the main attractions of Chang Mai, this meant lots of taxis. We did get a good tip from the girl in reception and that was to download the GRAB app (an Uber type service) this worked great and saved a lot of money. So to summarise, I found it difficult to rate this hotel because in reality it was the wrong hotel for the vacation we needed and that wasn't their fault. If you are looking for a short stay, then I recommend it, if a longer stay then I don't think its for you.

• meo_travel (8/5): Lovely hotel with friendly staff in out of the way location - Really enjoyed our visit here. It was made special by the staff who were friendly and kind, to the point of noticing that it was my companion’s birthday and leaving a cake for us in our room without prompting and without payment. The room was modern and clean; we had a minor plumbing issue which was quickly fixed by the maintenance staff. The pool was clean but unfortunately does not catch the afternoon sun and the poolside bar was closed. The location in a little inconvenient as there’s nothing around and it’s a taxi ride to get anywhere, but that wasn’t a great problem. Overall I’d recommend this hotel for a stay in Chiang Mai because of the quality of the room and the helpfulness of the staff.
• Mark (10/5): Quiet modern hotel with friendly staff nr airport - The staff here were great - very friendly and helpful every time we walked past reception. We had a minor maintenance issue which was fixed promptly. Someone noticed that it was my companion’s birthday and left a birthday cake (and two plates) in the room, without prompting and without charge. It was a lovely touch. The location is a bit out of the way in an uninteresting neighbourhood, it’s a taxi ride to get anywhere, but that wasn’t a big deal.

• hippeehippo (6/5): Enjoyed my stay. Needs work, but has potential! - The hotel entrance, lobby and restaurant are stunning; makes me feel like I am at a villa. However, the staff could put more attention to the guest rooms as they are average/ acceptable but nothing special compared to Western standards. My friends had issues with the hot water running cold and shower head not being strong enough; these need an engineer in place to fix these here and there problems on a consistent basis. Towels are too small even for body. Overall, my stay was pleasant and the staff was friendly. I know this is a new hotel and has only been in business for less than a year, but I am a person who has worked in hospitality. I believe they have the potential to address all these little issues and "up" their cleanliness game. Aside from the above, the hotel is not located in an central location but they offer shuttle service to the mall twice a day. Chiang Mai is a beautiful city and if you plan to take tours (which the hotel can arrange for you), the tours will pick you up from the hotel. Otherwise, taxi and Grab (app) are accessible. Just plan your time wisely as there is so much to do. Have a great stay :)

• plathu23 (10/5): Nice hotel - The staff was very helpful. Especially by giving suggestions, advice and recommendations for sights in and around Chiang Mai. The English capabilities of the staff was some of the best we've encountered in Thailand. The hotel is nice and clean with large rooms, a nice pool, a wonderful buffet breakfast and free shuttle to Maya Shopping Mall 2 times a day. The hotel further remarks itself by providing free fruit and coffee in the rooms, complimentary hats and bicycle service that was very easy to use. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Chang Mai.

• Jeremy (8/5): Brand new. - Brand new resort complex, still in soft opening when I stayed, so not very busy, but comfortable and friendly. On the outskirts of town, so has great parking for those who need that. Good pool and breakfast. Close to the airport, so occasional aircraft noise, but not a serious problem.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - The front office took care of us they were pleasant answered all our questions the wait staff was attentive to our needs the housekeepers did an excellent job I would stay there again and I would recommend them to anybody that wanted to stay there they cater to you personally and they look out for you they are always there and it was an excellent stay thank you to M and Gus and Boss and Pompay Rainy and all the stuff that was there thank you had an Excellence Vacation. The staff also surprised me with a cake on my birthday
• Welshdoll76 (8/5): Nice hotel ....if you like to sleep at the end of a runway - We booked this hotel as it looked like it was brand new and 5 star. The hotel entrance lobby and restaurant are brand new and extremely impressive. The rest of the hotel has been refurbished, but not to a high standard like the new parts. It’s ok I suppose but just a bit disappointing as the pictures promised so much more. I now realise they were 3D photos probably from the designer. The rooms have a shabby balcony area and the view to the pool is completely obscured by wood cladding! Made me worry how my family and I would escape if there was a fire...it felt like a jail cell. The hotel is at the end of the Chiang Mai airport runway. The planes took off outside our window. The seemed to finish at around midnight and start again at 6am. It’s quite far out of the old city but a taxi is about 70-80 Baht and a Tuk Tuk about 150 Baht. There are some great food stalls and local restaurants on the 30 minute walk to town though. On a positive, the hotel was a good price and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
• Alexkiter (2/5): No reason to go there - We had booked 4 nights in this hotel, having trust in the "4 stars" classification and in the beautiful photos. We stayed only one night. Why? - the hotel is only 100m far from the airport lines: the airplane noise is amazing! Don't even think aboit spending a peacefull time at the swimming-pool are having a nap! - the staff is nice, but insufficent. nobody at the swimming pool to get a drink or food (NB: the swimming pool bar on the picture is not operationnal in reality)... - the rooms are OK but you can see this hotel is an old one, that has been quickly refreshed to try and make from it an upscale hotel, which has not been possible. This hotel should be rated 2 stars - there are plenty of other hotels in Chiang Mai that are nearer to center town, cheaper, with a better service Last but not least, when I asked to cancel after the first night I discovered that they had already charged the fuall amount of our journey on my credit card without my agreement, using the booking information, which is obviously illegal. I have been refunded by the hotel 10 days later.

• 105morganc (8/5): Amazing staff - Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our travelling around thailand. Staff could not be more willing to help, so courteous and friendly from the moment you arrive till you leave. Room was very big and spacious. The free bottled water and hats were a lovely touch. A lot of renovations going on when we were here in July which was a little frustrating as this was not noted when booking. Also, a lot of the pictures in the advert were nothing like the hotel and at a closer look, these were actually photoshopped. Breakfast was okay. Very close to the airport which is a bonus but if you are a light sleeper do not be surprised if it wakes you up. It was quite alarming at first as it is very loud but we soon got used to it as we were out all day and most of the night anyway. Very clean hotel. Must mention one of the late night workers (Mo i think) who always went above and beyond, told us about a very cheap app which was similar to Uber and saved us a lot of money towards the end of our trip and always gave us an umbrella to borrow. He was very friendly and helpful, also advised us when booking trips. Once the renovations are complete I feel this will be a perfect hotel as the staff are amazing. More lighting in the bedroom would be a bonus as this was not great and very dark!
• mo (6/5): Suitable for transit - The stay at this hotel. I would like to say thank you so much and appreciated the night time manager who check in for us who is Mr M. The hard ware in the hotel is important. But the professional service is much much important. Normally to stay few days in a hotel we really need to have feeling of concerned the guests real need. Although the hardware in the hotel can not change but the software they really do. Actually, all the staffs here are very good. Thanks again for your hospitality.

• Kathy (8/5): Closed to airport and hotel simple & clean - Hotel near airport . Very friendly front staffs and they helpful too. Room simple and clean, most I like is they have a mini cofffee machine inside room . Beds very comfy but can hear airplane sound most time . TV channel suggest add most English Channel or program cause most is Thai language channel Breakfast good , we very enjoyed will back again .
• shoes4me (6/5): Has lots of potential but the staff are so nice - I would stay here again as it’s pretty decent and the staff were so nice. They provided free bottles of water and some wonderful straw hats that were complimentary. It is quite stunning looking, Contemporary looking but I would say there were little things that could be improved upon for me. Most people probably wouldn’t be bothered by it at all. The beds were really hard and I do usually prefer it more firm over soft. I felt like I was in a place that took some short cuts with their contractor around the finishes. It was really close to the airport so you can hear the planes overhead. I would probably stay in Old Chiang Mai next time but would stay here again as well. There are cute stores and restaurants in Old Chiang Mai. But I’d say it looks very modern, the restaurant looked great (we didn’t eat there) but the staff were incredible, friendly and gave us great tips. They treated us great there.

• RobynSchroder (10/5): Luxurious end to our holiday. - There were still renovations being done at Bamboori, so we got to stay there at a very cheap rate and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Five star attention to detail, the most comfortable beds we experienced in Chiangmai and Laos over a week and a generous sized room with balcony. Everything is very good quality and the staff are excellent. Breakfast was beautifully presented with food for western and eastern tastes. Yogurt drinks and jams are in reusable glass jars and bottles, so no throw away plastic containers, classy.
• Robyn (10/5): Ended our holiday in luxurious style. - This hotel is still in the process of being renovated, which was good for us, because we got to stay in this top quality hotel that would normally be out of our price range. The attention to detail is impressive with lots of nice little touches like fruit in our room presented in a lovely little bamboo leaf basket. The swimming pool is under a beautiful big tree, and as we floated around in the cool water we could watch birds flying about their nests. Breakfast is a beautifully presented buffet to suit western and eastern tastes.

They were incredibly attentive and will to help us with anything we needed. Would absolutely come back and would love to stay here once it is completely done and ready to go. Very comfortable beds, great breakfast, good WiFi.
• Ryan (10/5): Amazing Staff at Andacura Bamboori - They are just opening up so when we were there they were still in the soft opening phase. You can tell it is going to be an amazing hotel. What really made it great for us was the staff. They did everything they could to make sure we had an awesome stay. The breakfast was great, WiFi worked well, the room was quite spacious and comfortable.
