• STYLIANOS (9/5): - A peaceful place with beautiful African style cottages. A pool to relax nice gardens and clean. You need a car or taxi-tuk tuk to move to go to beach or to town We enjoyed our stay.

• Hannarose (8/5): Very good - I had a great time at Doric cottages and the staff were really helpful . It's a walking distance to the beach and also the price was fair. There was poor internet connection however that was fixed later on.

Staff got us fresh coconuts. Internet was a problem. Rest all was fine. Ac worked fine. Internet was too slow or disconnecting The pillows were to thick

• Matthew (4/5): - The term Luxury cottage is an insult. The pictures are very misleading.This place is so run down. The staff you can tell is trying hard but obviously the owner cares nothing about customer service or being honest. Our "Luxury cottage" had no microwave, no satellite TV and the kitchen and living room were exposed to heat as there are no windows only loose screening that let lots of bugs in. The couch and beds sit on concrete reminiscent of city jail. I realize this property is in the tropics but our place had roaches all over it. Now the kicker they expect you to pay more if you use to much electricity. If you're in the service industry you have to be prepared for tourist who can be wasteful with electricity and while I try to turn lights\AC off when not used you can't punish people for not. It was so bad,I stayed one night on a four day booking and offered to pay for two nights and asked for a refund for two nights but was giving a bunch of bad excuses why my refund hadn't been processed. I gave up. If this place was budget backpackers place I wouldn't have an issue but they claim luxury and charge accordingly so I warn you to not do business with this place.

• Audrey (7/5): Family stay - I liked the greenery and the colorful flowers around the facility. There is adequate ground for taking walks or even playing with the kids. I also like the swimming pool for its cleanliness. The proximity of the property to the beach and shopping center is a big plus. I felt very secure during my stay. Although the swimming pool is a good size, it poses a potential hazard as its depth is not marked/indicated. Other signages around the pool, such as no lifeguards on site are not well displayed. The buildings could do with a fresh coat of paint, especially in the outdoor sitting areas. There is no WiFi at the facility and the kitchen could do with additional utensils. Consider installing a sliding door for the bathroom rather than the door that opens outwards hence a potential hazard.

• Anthony (5/5): The host needs to improve on services to attract more guests. - Location is good. Close to the shopping centre, beach and Ukunda Airstrip Services were horrible. Cleaning was done every 2 days depite some areas like dining, kitchen and verandah requiring daily cleaning. We had to do the mopping ourselves to chase away flies. Additional charge to cleaners for services outside the bi-nightly cleaning schedule.
