He visto reseñas que se quejan del ascensor. Como en todo edificio antiguo hay un tramo de escaleras al principio pero luego hay un ascensor que te lleva a todos los pisos. La posizione è semplicemente perfetta: centralissima e comoda per visitare tutte le meraviglie di Firenze a piedi. La pulizia dell’hotel è impeccabile, le camere sono molto ampie, accoglienti e ben curate. Ma il vero punto di forza è sicuramente il personale! I ragazzi alla reception sono stati super gentili, professionali e cosa che non guasta mai, anche simpaticissimi! Hanno reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole, rispondendo a tutte le nostre domande e dandoci ottimi consigli per scoprire la città. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura dove la qualità del servizio fa la differenza. Non vediamo l’ora di tornarci!

The owner and especially his dad, were incredibly charming and helpful. The shower had amazing water pressure, and the bed was very comfortable. All the stairs!! There is a luggage elevator, thankfully, so that helped. But there were A LOT of stairs to manage after a long day of walking. The street noise was loud early in the morning as well.

Great location next to the Ponte Vecchio and the centre, easy access to Oltranto and everywhere. 20 minutes walk from the train station (with luggage). Room had air con / heating, although the ceiling was so high it was warmer on the mezzanine, not down where the beds were. The small sitting area on the mezzanine lacked real purpose, maybe that needs a rethink.

We stayed at one of the suites located right across the road from the hotel alessandra- the suite was like a fully equipped apartment with kitchenette, gorgeous spacious bathroom with shower & we had two separate bedrooms for three of us at mezzanine level. The owner and his wife were exceptionally welcoming , pleasant and helpful as were the other staff we met. Fantastic location near the Ufizi gallery, ponte vecchio, main shopping areas and great selection of restaurants within a few minutes walk. Great value for money. We would highly recommend Not the owners fault ..more due to the fact that the building is old and the separating walls between our suite and the neighbours offered no sound insulation, was a little noisy one night due to other guests

The rooms are spacious, bright and very clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is very good, copious and the cakes are homemade. The hotel staff are very kind, courteous and friendly, and will help you make the most of your stay in Firenze A little noise in the evening in the street because there are restaurants next to the hotel. But at 11pm, there's no more noise, so it's not really disturbing.

I walked out the front door and spent hours siteseeing, and once the peak times passed I felt like I had some streets to myself to just stroll and enjoy (as a solo female traveler- felt very safe the whole time, have to go through THREE locked doors to get into the room!). Location can't be beat, and again- those COMFY beds :D I would only warn there are stairs to climb to get to the room (but they are so worth it)- BUT they do have a little 1-2 person elevator too so it is accessible! I did not mind them at all but just thinking of people who may need accommodations.

- Phil (9/5): Only Q should be.. would we stay again - YES! - Central & 30sec from river Arno/Pont Vechio - wonderful 15th century bldg opposite actual hotel in a refurbished room, with ultra high ceilings, mezzanine floor added for added lounge room & grand bathroom serviced daily No coffee machine provided or basic cutlery which would have improved experience.

- Lauren (9/5): Fabulous Budget Find with Breakfast - The host made our whole stay worth it. He was very accommodating, allowing us the check in a bit early when we arrived. He also helped us confirm our day tour with the company via phone. Location was amazing. Walking distance to everything but the hotel itself is on a little bit of a quieter street. Would definitely recommend staying here. They keep the AC off until mid-afternoon. It was very hot when we arrived, especially after walking up the stairs, and we needed a cool shower to cool down in the early afternoon.
- Martine (10/5): - Lors de notre séjour en Italie Residenza Alessandra est de loin la plus belle chambre où nous avons séjournés. L'endroit est exceptionnel, il est situé en plein cœur de Florence. La salle de bain est incroyable avec une magnifique douche à l'Italienne. Il y a une mezzanine dans la chambre pour prendre un verre tranquille ainsi on n'a pas l'impression de séjourner dans une chambre seulement. Le service est incroyable aussi. Il y avait un service pour changer les serviettes et ranger la chambre mais nous n'avons pas cru bon l'utiliser, n'étant sur place que 4 nuits. Un endroit que je recommande sans hésiter!
- Ibcb73 (10/5): The perfect spot in Florence! - AMAZING location! Everyone we encountered was amazing. I dont know it concierge is a thing in Italy but these folks provided incredible customer service. The room was really beautiful and spacious and had a large bathroom with a great tub. Housekeeping were also very helpful and attentive. Location of the hotel could not be beat. 15 minutes on foot from just about anywhere - Uffizi, Santa Croce, Santa Maria del Fiore, and literally around the corner from Ponte Vecchio. Can't beat it. In terms of the hotel - loved every part of it! As a side note for those travelling by personal vehicle, parking in Italy is (to say the least) a challenge but this is not an issue for the hotel to resolve.

- Jatin (6/5): - Rooms are nice and big. Very near to shopping and dining area. Staff is friendly and very respectful. There are two items I would recommend that they improve. 1. Wi-Fi quality. WiFi was available but wasn’t reaching all area of our apartment. Living room, upper bed room didn’t have Wi-Fi connectivity. WI-Fi is such a basic necessity it’s like water now a days. All hotel must ensure they provide best connectivity. 2. A/c in apartment are overly complex. Owner does not know that they are not sync. Still they use just one remote for 2 different A/C units. So when remote shows 18 degree centigrade , you don’t know which room it’s showing for. Owner thinks it’s for both rooms but I can easily prove him wrong. Both room always gets different temperatures reading. Often time one A/C starts and other does not. Cutting 2 star for these.
